Chile, what you telling? It is her problem. As long as he has a problem then it becomes both of them problem. If JQ acts like it's not her problem then thing will just get worse and not better cause it will make him even more insecure and jealous.

And here I was thinking that they only act this way when they're going through menopause or some sort of midlife crisis :rofl:. Girl, your post touched my heart, I can relate to every bit of what you are experiencing with your hubby cause I've been down that road with mine. I've been with hubby for 6 yrs, and the first 3-4 yrs of our relationship was testing, he was overly jealous, overprotective and a bit controlling and it was a mess. When things were good it was VERY GOOD but on the bad days we both wanted to just throw in the towel and call it a day( We did a few times but it only lasted for a day)but I prayed and hang on cause despite his madness he's one of the sweetest person there is and he is my heart.

There were days when I would cry cause I was so overwhelmed with all his madness and insecurities. He was selfish and wanted me all for himself. I had to start acting a lil crazy and a lil extra calm for him to get his act together,and he did. Over the last two years he has made a 360 deg and things have just been wonderful ever since. Now, It doesn't bother him one bit where I go or who I go with, he only wants to know that I'm safe.

Things will get better sweetie, as long as both of you recognized that there's a problem and you're both open to finding the solution and resolving the issue. Sometimes all they need is that little extra reassurance that you're going nowhere and he's your soul mate.

Next time he's acting up, instead of getting mad, just rub him in the head, give him a little reassuring kiss and tell him a few sweet words, maybe that will help a bit cause it sure did for me.

I'm going to California this weekend, This is my weekend Mother's Day and I raised two beautiful kids on my own for the last 13 years. Im leaving my kids here with my dad and Im spending the day with my mother.
On Nov 13, 2007- as some of you know my maternal-grandmother was killed in an accident when she was driving and fell asleep at the wheel and flipped the car.

So I feel that my mom is the best person to be with on this wonderful occasion.

My father will be sad due to my grandma passing this year also, but he has my aunt and uncles that are all getting together for a dinner so that will be good.

I have to much love in my heart to deal with my hubby and his drama, so ima hit the town, with my wonderful mother and have a great time. (L)

Well JQ I think what gets to hubby is that you are all about living yuh life. Whether he is there or not your plan on going out with your friends on trips and parties. I’m with you I don’t see the big deal but I guess he is not used to that. How was it when he was in JA and you went out did he call your phone fifty times or did he let you be? Yes Im living life so so true, I have maybe went out 4 times since he has been here in August- 2 was with my girls and the other was California(1) and Jamaica(1) 4 times total.
When he was in Jamaica he used to be pissed when I would go out which was maybe once every 2-3 months, since I am older I dont hang out but when I do I party hard. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Hello everyone...hope all is well. Life has been crazy but I am still blessed.

I can only speak for myself. My reason for not coming around because the newcomers don't take advice well at least from me. They seem to hang on to those with drama...guess my life is pretty boring. As a vet, I try to stay around but it seems pretty useless. Back in the day, we used to talk about the adjustment and shared stories but it seems like life is great for the newcomers.


First of all Im glad you are still blessed because you and that baby need to stay healthy so he can come on my b-day July 8th :dance: :dance: :dance:

Now, this is not true IMO. Im considered a newcomer although I didnt sign up until 3 months after I was always in here as a guest :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: So its been over a year for me. I don't hang on those with drama but I do pay attention to it, because I feel that drama can be subsided with PRAYER. I'm not a Jesus freak but I love and acknowledge him and know that he can make whatever needs to happen-happen. Whether it be comfort, ease, drama-free, or financial miracles. And when there is drama and we ALL have had drama. So even VETs dont post and some do. I dont cling to drama but I do feel thats it entertaining because it shows we are not perfect.
I feel you cant give advice if you dont share, because then your life is looking perfect and we are looking at you like you are a :ph34r:

Shemmy you vets have to stay around because if and when I do this I will need advice because Lord knows I haven’t retained a thing. I looked the forms the other day and instantly hit the exit on my computer and said whoo glad I have a while for/if that. So do you really have to gather all that stuff to send off the K-1? Sheesh I never understood why you ladies were so happy when it was out of your hands but now I see why.

I must admit sometimes things seem a little fake oh I love him oh were great oh were this and its like get the phock outta here. i am devestated- i went for checkup today and i lost the baby

i have to have D&C on monday
ive had to hold it together all day so im going to go cry



No one knows the devastation and heartache of losing a baby more than a father or mother, I pray that you find comfort in prayer. I commend you for even coming on this quick and sharing, and know your VJ sisters are here for you.
