But she's not my MIL (so to speak)... he's on my side all the way (show off) but its just weird cuz she his step-mom and he likes her but dont talk to her It has to do with the culture, Spanish folks can be prideful. Sounds like hubby acknowledges her existence but doesn't talk to her unless he absolutely has to for his father's sake. He probably don't like her but is civil to her. His dad and her got married last year so he and her aint close at all- he rarely talks to anyone in his family muchless his biological mother. I talked to his step-mom first (as I said, im coser to her) and then he asked to be added to the conference cuz he wanted to "clarify" some things. It was awkward cuz they dont talk so after the topic changed from not letting them in the apt, it was awkward silence. I do see your point and he handles things with his mom if she is rude, but not his step-mom The way I see it YOU are closer to her but she needs to mind her biz for real. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies at home and a farrin, Part 27!	I JUST RECIEVED E-MAIL FROM THE EMBASSY THE VISA WAS PRINTED TODAY...SHE WILL BE ABLE TO PICK IT UP WEDNESDAY... So happy I get to bring my baby home. Plus I took a gut shot and purchased tickets on Tuesday with Jet Blue, I couldn't pass up the price. A round trip for me and a one way for her only cost $462. I am so relieved...Hope everyone is having a good day. Well Matt, you were very lucky because as we tell other yards, never purchase tickets until VISA IN HAND! He went on first interview this morning @ Fedex & while we we're heading there, Pepboys called him. So he has another interview this afternoon. My son is my son. Still a 6yr old knucklehead in school. Adorable & smart but feels to be a knucklehead. Cory goes out more being that he has his drivers license. Plus one of his good friends is living in Brooklyn now. So he's adjusting much better. Yes you did! That's great to hear that things are going well and I hope that Cory gets a job soon! It aint easy. I have to defend the little boy in toenail polish (and his Mom) - Since I had my youngest nephew (age 3) overnight a few weeks back, and he walked in with hot pink polish on his toes - My sister had done her nails, and while she was showering and dressing - He did his! She realized it as she put his shoes on, but had no time to do anything about it Lol,it looked all professional and what not. This little boy had sandals on though I remember one new years eve my brother fell asleep drunk and we always used to tell the guys don't go to sleep because we would dress them up and polish their toes The good ol days... It was too hot to even be in the pool. Hubby says he wants to go cool off in JA. I tried telling him that was more south so had to be hotter, but he's right there is a good ocean breeze, atleast in MoBay, where he was, so it cooled it down a bit. Soooo....basically was offered a position as a dental assistant....All training done by one of the top dental surgeons in the country...as a formality, they want you to come in an observe a procedure....I've seen someone bleed to death after being stabbed, bodies with gunshots wounds lying in the street (one with a gunshot to the head, brains etc)...So I stand there, not much bleeding...he cuts the guy's gum and starts messing around with the flesh flapping up and down...I start feeling a litle funny, I'm like 'well I'd better get used to it!'....Stand there a bit longer, watching him digging and cutting...all of a sudden I start seeing little black dots...feel like I'm falling asleep....'wake up' with a start and I'm like 'I'm OUT!'....Walked outta there like a bat out of hell....Dr came and spoke to me after....he though I'd be good rae rae....I was like, I am the one always believing I can do anything, be anything...scared of almost nothing, but this one, no way.
