Come as you are - Part 1	Wow DW, well just take this time to pamper yourself, clean and makesure he has that digicel overseas plan! i don't know if this change at work is good or bad but as you all know I work as a teacher assistant at a preschool but have a certificate and associates in human services (family work,social work etc) But being that I've been at this job since I was 16, it has good benefits, I only work 5.5 hours a day and have the option to take the summer off, I really didn't want to leave it to get a job in my career field. Well it so happens that the family worker here will be out for a few weeks so I get that position, same pay because I make more than her, same hours except I come in earlier. The bad part is I have to go shopping and I have to be at work at 8 instead of 11:30... With my moods and all day sickness, I'm not too sure but I accepted the position already and it will be a great opportunity for me to get some experience helping families and children, which is what I've always wanted to do. I think thats a GREAT opportunity.. who knows you may do so good they will hire you permanently for the spot! Call me crazy but I try to save in every way. I don't know why I didn't think about this sooner but I went to the store across the street from my house and bought Jamaican ginger beer, I don't wanna jinx myself but I think its working miracles, except for this nasty, metallic taste in my mouth. I think I'm having a girl, only girls give this much problems, boys are more calm and laid back. Lol @ your hubby wanting you to keep visuals! I beg to differ, my daughter was easy, mi son nuh easy at tall! Morning Everyone! I just dropped the hubby off at the airport for his return to JA...gosh it was harder than I thought! Always, he went to build a bear and made me the cutest bday bear ever with all the accessories you can think of. However, I sooo wanna ask if that's it! Have a great day everyone! LMAO you leave my smiley alone! LOL Imma have a lil talk with him about the gift giving part of the marriage.... no worries! LOL I've never heard that. Maybe in extreme cases? It was on the list of approved items that my doctor gave to me that I could take for nausea and morning sickness. My friend who is also pregnant and goes to a different doctor said that her doctor gave her a list and ginger/ginger tea was on hers as well. I've checked sites like WebMD and Mayo Clinic as well as sites that specialize in natural remedies and herbs and its highly recommended by physicians/obstetricians, and midwives. Hope u find some relief from somewhere soon though. And hubby's build-a-bear idea was cute---but I'm like you, I would be looking for at least flowers or dinner out or something else! Unless I know that's all he could do at the moment--hell, build-a-bear can be expensive! Happy Birthday! Mawnin folks! Happy Friday! The weekend is FINALLY here! The damn woman was so mean, I asked to hear the heartbeat and she said its not necessary and its too loud o_O! Then I asked for a print out and she asked me if this is our 1st, she had a "why are you excited" attitudes. Ugh! JQ, I want a A name too, I'm stuck on Alexis so hopefully its a girl. Mama Jew thank goodness hubby is ok and I hope your daughter make it in time to see her sister's birth. Always, I would be a bag of nerves but you'll be fine, by the grace of God. Goodnight ladies! Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardie Party!!! Come as you are - Part 1	Afternoon All. Quick update: Eric was in a Car Accident (his 1st) Monday. The car is Jacked to hell, but he is hoping that they fix it and not total it. He is fine, except for his pride. Says he has a little pain in his neck. Our daughter went to Embassy to do her DNA test. Everything went smooth with that. Her kit is being sent back to Richmond, VA to compare results. So hopefully not long now. I am hoping and praying that my daughter will get to see her baby sister being born. We will see what happens. Went to Doc Tuesday and found out that I am border line Anemic. Already knew that though. So hubby is cooking veggies out this world to help increase iron intake. Other than that, The Nugent family is doing just fine. One less vehicle to drive, but still 3 to go + my motorcycle. Man that is a lot.......ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY A CAR??????? JQ--I feel you on needing to slow down. My schedule is packed all the way until Dec. Travel, work, and Travel. Sorry to hear that happen. Glad he is okay though..... Hope the DNA test results come back quick! Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardie Party!!! Come as you are - Part 1	I been gone a long time. I gotta catch up. My job has put this girl on the road for training. Back now. We had two major inspections over the past few weeks and I have been working extra to get things in order. Thank God we passed them both. So I am enjoying my Friday off. Also I been under the weather for the past three weeks. I had a damn sinus infection, the meds to help that gave me a yeast infection (which is horrible when you are prego), now I have a cough that is killing my ribs. And of course you can't take a whole lot of meds, so I a suffering. Ok. Now that, that is out of the way...... Eric, took his test about 2 or 3 weeks ago. He doesn't ask many questions. But they told him that now they will have to send DNA test kit to Jamaica Embassy, then my daughter will has to come in and do her part. Then the Embassy sends kit back to U.S., then results are drawn up and notice sent to Eric and Embassy. Longer process then I thought. But we are now offically on the wait list....Once again Im sorry all this is happening to you but im sending positive vibes your way! Hey Everyone! I miss being on here. I want to believe, I do but I am just not in a good place right now. I am talking with some family saying very little because people always have their own agenda to and love to tell you what they would do if they were in that situation. I am just taking each day as it comes right now my heart is ripped out and stomped on. I wanted a baby for so long and now that I am pregnant and due soon I am not so sure how happy I am. I have been miserable this whole pregnancy due to being sick and now this mess.I want my little girl to be happy I just have to find that place again. I know it wont be overnight and maybe not even in a month, but each day I will just try and do what I can . I just feel so weak And you will Always, you really will find it. Once you see that precious baby smile at you for the first time, you will realize you shouldn't have any regrets. Everything happens for a reason. Im sure God wouldn't have given you such a precious gift for no reason. She will be your motivator, the reason you get up everyday and go to work. She will be EVERYTHING to you. It takes a village to raise a child, so I know that you're family and friends will support you as much as we need to!!! You VJ sisterns are here for you too. Keep your head up and your open! Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardie Party!!! Come as you are - Part 1	Hey all... So I got a call from a friend in Jamaica. Her daughter is taking 8 CXC's so she was asking me to help. Of course I really don't have the means right now, but told her if anything came up where I could, I would help. She said it was $3500JA per subject. Which would be like $350 for all 8. That sounded a lot to me, so me being me, I called my old school. They told me it was just under $2000JA per subject. Still a lot, but she is obviously lying to me. I had said to myself that if I booked a session in between now and Nov 4th (the deadline to pay) I would have sent her the money. Although, he just got a call this morning about a possible part-time job at Home Deport...so I might need for him to handle that before he takes any trips back to Ja. Hi Irie (waiving) that's awesome about Louis driving! Awww...soon he'll be in his own wheels. I been out the loop myself...all I know is a lot of VJ'ers are preggers! Us too! We going to play it by ear and see how we feel Friday night...hopefully we'll be able to see y'all shortly after you get in!! We're going to this all-you-can eat seafood spot and we might be knocked out afterwards...lol! No fair, I wanna go to the all you can eat seafood place too! Steve isn't packed yet.... He betta get moving lol.... 11/2 marks Steve's 1 year anniversary of his arrival to the US of A. Im going to get him a lil cake cause he never had a cake yet....Then I bought some candy dust from the "special" store that we need to try out!!! Sexy party here we come!!! I like Home Deport better! However, if he gets an offer from them, even Part time, JUMP on it! Two of my cousins went to work for them - Both moved up through the ranks, they have a great training program internally - making 6 figures on a HS diploma - We are trying to get Steve in there too. Ive been taking Steve out too. He has a pretty good handle on the car. The first time, I let him drive on the street late at night, the second time I took him to a big empty lot too. KJ is getting in early, but having a nice romantic day/night with hubby. Tee is getting in later, but I think we are still planning on having some drinks downtown. If you aren't too tired, we'd love to have you join. Or if you want to get together for dinner or a comedy show or something, I'm down for anything. I won't be taking them for awhile. It was just too much! On a better note, hubby and I went to church on Sunday for the first time together and it was REALLY nice, except, he was agreeing with something the Pastor said and said "Real shyt" I said "You can't cuss in church Steve hush" Boal I tell ya! Hubby is a worker for sure.. 11pm to 5am at his second job Wow! I'm glad you guys got a whole day together though. Date day is better than Date night especially with the hours he works. I'm lovin you got yourself some boots while show shopping for the kids. You deserve to treat yourself and I'm glad you did. Thanks ladies on the DS 230. I lost my mind. DW- way to go on the 8 pounds. You are doin' it gyal! I know it's going to be hard with hubby away, but just keep thinking about the reunion when he gets back. Sexy party of the year..lol. I know we were suppose to retire it, but I have to ask... you said he's going back to work on his music and I HAVE to know if that means the gold suit will be worn? Jess- Sooo glad you and hubby had a nice day together. I know you have been missing him and nothing better than spending quality time together after being apart. Acrow- That's awesome getting to spend so much time in JA. Congrats on your pregnancy. I hope you have a quick and healthy delivery. Do you know what you are having? You may have said, but I can't remember. So our first anniversary is fast approaching and we are going on a cruise to celebrate it, but we will be back the day before our actual anniversary so I'm trying to think of something special that I could do for hubby on the actual day. I want to get him something small that has meaning, but it's sooo hard with guys. Also I'm thinking a nice romantic evening in. I'm thinking candles, a bubble bath, champagne, sexy lingerie, any other ides for a sexy party set up? So excited for my vistors next week!! Hope everyone had a nice weekend! I did.
