Mexico, Latin & South AmericaYardie Party!!! Come as you are - Part 1

Interview today for my daughter. I am chewing my finger nails (haven't done that in awhile). Nerves are up the wall right now. I told Eric I will call him around 11 or 12 to find out the results. LORD DO IT.....DO IT FOR ME RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Thompson-- yes my legs are doing much better. Doc to me to cut out a few of my extra activities. That is going to harder done then said. My schedule is so jam packed. I got two schools for work coming up and a daughter to go and get and I will have to get her ready for school. :help:

Of course I told Eric about what happened and he had the nerve to go off on me. I kinda felt like a kid again. Hold up....wait a minute....let me put some MAMA JEW in it. Had to pump the breaks. But I understood what he was saying. Said yes dear and I love you. And then had to throw in there, that him fussing at me didn't help the situation  (got some game wit me) so he said he was sorry for getting upset and that he didn't want me doing anything around the house until he got back. OOOOOOO YYYYEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Good for you......:star:

JQ-- He got her to sign over full custody to him.But the paperwork won't be ready until Friday. Eric's parents will have to pick it up, cause he flies back Friday morning. But they did get the letter signed and notarized as well for the interview.

Now for some advise like the other women gave me.Don't let that man stress you out. You are carrying another life. And stress is no good for you or the baby. Believe me, my legs were so swollen the other night after talking to Eric, that I only made it to the bed and couldn't even get up. Just remember, you are too blessed to be stressed. And use those kids. Like your parents used to use you. You know they are the remote control, your water fountain, and your sandwhich maker LOL!!!

See thats what Im talking about! You will be taking care of them most of your life....let them take care of YOU sometimes!

Tee--that is sad. For her though. That little girl is amazing. She is full of energy and so loving. I don't know how she could do that. But you know. MY DAUGHTER deserves to be loved by a mother that will be here for her no matter what. And I am that woman!!!!!

The interview is in the morning and I am so anxious.

Girl don't let Steve get a hang of that craigslist stuff. Cause Eric is an addict fo real.

Hey yall

Mama jew make sure you get that notarized because they will not take it unless it is. Thats what happened to MOy Moy.

Man I am overwhelmed with everything, I am seriously depressed yall, got alot of things going on and when I try to take on so much!!! It just ends up slapping me int he face.

My husband after all I do all I fckn do told me this morning I dont think and I did some dumb ######.

This mf'er dont do ###### for these kids. I cook, i make sure order is in the house, i take them all to school every day and pick them up. i take off work to get them in school and mae sure everything was even situated. I wash clothes and buy supplies for school. He aint do none of that ###### and Im going on 5 month pregnant and I had a 80 hr a week job!!

####### this morning when he said that sht to me I wanted to crash the car I swear to Jesus I did, but my 3 kids and my unborn were in the car and I didnt. I wanted to cry so bad but due to the kids I didnt. :crying: :crying: :crying:

Im broke, I overwhelmed and I have alot of places to go today.
1, meeting on the other side of town... 20 miles away
2. Doctor back on this side of town

BRB have to go to a meeting

JQ - Here it goes:

1. Calm down. Being stressed out while pregnant.... NOT GOOD.
2. Start delegating chores to your boys. They are big enough to help mommy out big time. Teach them how to cook.
My kids learned at age 9 and as you can see I taught my nephew how to make tacos and he is 7-1/2. They are your helpers.. Use them.
3. Explain to hubby how you feel. If he is unsympathetic, just cook for you and the kids. He'll get the point.
4. You need to take care of YOU cause without YOU there is no THEM. You are in a good position right....PREGNANT now use it to your advantage!

(((((((((hugs))))))))))

Tee--you are so right. But I am glad to say Eric found his baby mother and they got everything done. Thank You Lord!!!! I was so stressed, but what a huge relief.

And I am proud of your hubby. That is great that he is making a name for hisself. Eric is known by my family as Craigslist guy and the restorer. That man can bring the life back to anything.

Finesse--Yeah that is what I said when I saw that announcement. WTH. that is like a $219 increase. Blew my mind.

Im glad he found her, but she just signed her away, how sad.. Im just glad it worked out in your favor though :)

Steve is such a go getter, thank you!

Morning all

Thompson-- couldn't have explained it any better than Sus. Oh yeah just to add. The visa fee went up to $350 from the $131. We got hit that bomb shell right before Eric left. Good thing I put some ducketts aside. Or that would have turned into just a trip back home and a blue slip.

Thanks for all the prayers and good luck wishes. I am stressed out here in the states. But I am trying not to get to worked up. It just kills me, because before he left he knew exactly where she lived and worked. Now 9mnts later everything has changed. What in the world do these men be thinking about? He is working on something, I didn't bother to call yesterday cause my head was killing me and my leg swelled up, so I went straight to bed when I got off.

Mama, take it easy. It's important to get her here but at the same time, you have to secure your own health. We gonna claim it for you and keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Whatever is meant to happen will happen :)

Well, Eric can't find his baby momma's where abouts. So he will have to go the courts to get an affidavit. Don't ask me, but his father knows someone who works there and that is what they said. You know, when you right your right. I told that man, not to come until he got everything straight with that woman. Did he listen, HELL to the NAW. Now he trying to rip and run and get everything done before he returns on the 3rd.

Don't think we need the letter for interview, but we will need it for her to leave the country.

Well good luck to yall. Hope everything works out right!

I think this is right. For my hubby we put Montego Bay (city) St. James (Parish), and of course JA (country). It's a little different then what we're used to, but it works. Don't over thing (even though I think most of us did). These forms and this process will drive you nuts and have you overthinking every dyam thing. Just ask if you have any other questions.

LOL.. I'm lovin' all the just say "NO" responses. It's true though and my fear was if I said yes once then that would be eat. How could I then say no. Especially a friend. One thing if his family is in trouble, but we don't have the money to help neighborhood friends.

I feel for you with hubby in JA. It's so true now that I live with hubby I think how did I ever deal with just going and visiting him every few months. You get spoiled real quick with having them live with you, even though you may want to choke them at times..lol These times apart really make you realize that even though they may annoy they are worth it in the end!.

Amen!

Good morning, All.

I WISH people would ask me instead of my husband. I would ask a bunch of questions first, to where they would feel so uncomfortable that they wouldn't even WANT to ask again unles for a very good reason.

Such as:
What do you need this money for?
Is this something that came up all of a sudden (illness) or something that you know you'll need (food)?
What are you doing to make money?
What have you been doing with your $ such that you don't have enough?
Why were you driving the car if you couldn't afford to repair any damages you caused? (Don't get me started on this one. I only let people borrow my car if I know they're responsible drivers and/or have insurance to fix any potential damages.)
What do you plan to do in case this situation happens again?

So I have all this mentally prepared, but haven't had the opportunity to use it as people don't come to me. Instead, they go to my [overly] generous husband.

I've let him know: it's one thing to help old people and children. It's another thing when an able-bodied person is not doing anything to make money and just expecting donations. So now if he wants to help certain people in certain situations, it comes out of his own funds and not the household budget.

-------

Something I found humorous:
I kept in touch with one person (or, he kept in touch with me) for years after I spent a month in Africa (Gambia, Ghana, Senegal). I remember the time he asked me to send him sneakers. The part that made me laugh was that he didn't want ANY sneakers. He wanted a very specific new type from Nike. I had to laugh (and say no) because I wouldn't even buy myself sneakers that expensive.

The moral of nat's story, if you have to say "no" to someone, let her do it so she can finally use it on someone

Oh I see. You know first hand what it's like. I see where he gets his brains from. I've just heard people say for maturity reasons they don't want their kids to skip, so I was just curious if that was your reasoning too. That's good he learned his lesson. I'm still excited Moy Moy gets to go all day now. That is great!

Ok everyone (or anyone that wants to give their 2 cents), how do you deal with hubby's friends back in JA asking for things? He has one friend that has already asked for a new phone and $100. He asked hubby for the phone and hubby just ignored him (it was visa FB he asked), then he just asked be tonight if I could send $100 and just keep it between him and I. Vaughn has a big family and none of them have even asked for anything, so I think this friend is out of line. I'm happy to help anyone that is important to my husband but I just feel he is thinking I have an endless supply of cash. What makes it hard is that he sees our pictures on FB going to all these places, so how do I say no? I told I can't because hubby and I aren't working this year and are just spending time together before we get serious about work and kids. I'm thinking that he's thinking we aren't just sitting at home so if we have money to go places then why not for him? I'm sure some of you have encounted this before and just would like to know how you handled it.

I haven't gone through it but seriously, I would just say no. V is not working and we are planning for our future and just don't have it to give!

I just said NO. I don't have it. He's not working and money is tight. You will encounter that ####### over and over again.

Honest, it pissed me off to no end.

You are my twin I swear!

JQ- That's great that Moy Moy can go to an all day kindergarden. How perfect that it's right near your job and her older bro will be there. See God is good all the time. It sounds like you have set a good founadation for your boys and will do the same for Moy Moy and she will follow in her brothers foot steps. I think some kids just get lazy, especially if they are naturally smart and just feel they don't have to give as much effort if they can pass without it. That's great about your younger son. How come you don't want him to skip? Is it for materity reasons? I can understand that. Otherwise I was thinking what if he gets bored with his class work since he is ahead and learns that he too can be lazy and slack off and still get good grades. I know you have a good reason for your decision and not trying to say you should do otherwise. I was just curious (nice way of saying nosey  ).

Tee- Just think when you are a teacher..you can travel all summer! Just hang in there until you graduate! Oh and you GOTTA take some pictures of your taco making lesson, partly for fun and partly to teach me!

Happy a good weekend all!

Gurl, I didn't take pics but we had so much fun... :)

Hey B, they wanted him to skip and I felt that he should stay with his own grade, not for any reason except I felt he would be overwhelmed. That happened to me in 7th grade and I went to the Gifted and Taleted Classes, well they were hard as heck. I still got a,b,and c's but it was just to much for me and eveyone was counting on me and pressuring me because of that high achievement.

Then when he moved to the new school last year his grades slipped. So it was a good lesson for hm, try as hard as you can, his head got big because he knew they wanted him to skip and he stopped trying as hard :bonk:

It was funny reading this because my son DEFINITELY could have been put in a gifted classes but I was afraid for the other students because of his negative behaviors so I didn't let him go...

My oldest son has some problems because he doesnt try hard enough to me!
My youngest is in GATE classes and they wanted him to skip 3rd grade. But I said no because I like for him to stay where he is at.

So its no problem for me to step up for Moy, but damn yall I am taking on alot thats why this pregnancy is going to crazy, I cant relax at all

Thaks JG I believe it is the best idea now. Congrats on your job find.

I was having problems with the 2 hr Kinder but my dad said use his address, so thats what we did, around the corner from my job!!!! thank God for fradulent proof of residency :bonk: for all day Kinder. and my son still in 5th so he will be there also, and now my oldest can go to jr high with 3 of his cousins ohhhh they gone be deep :help:

OMG went to register Moy for school, and they said the basic school really doesnt qualify because its like Pre K, so they wanted to test her.

OMG she didnt pass the test and she has to go to K this year, she will be 6 on the 13th. damn her mom, aint even work wit the girl, while she was in school, she cant even read. Can count, can write, can distinguish colors and the names of colors, but is not familiar with site words like it, the , can, I, and an am
I have been working with her with the books but she only been here for 14 days what am I suppose to do in that time frame  I did nt knw they were going to make her do K all over
i knew she had problems but didnt know it was so badddddddddddddddddddddd.

Dont get me wrong she real smart but just not at a 1st grade level, she is a year behind

I feel like slaaping a bytch!!!! that bytch  so she sorry, :wow:

Good night VJ

Talk to yall tomorrow

JQ - Don't get upset, just be a real mom/teacher to her and help her. My suggestion is to go online and find the sight words for K and make up flash cards for her and just keep practicing. If you feel like being real creative, make it a matching game too. Write two of each words on 3 x 5 cards and get the boys to play the matching game with her and when she finds a match tell her to spell the words too. Although I took many photographs during your session, I view my photography as an art. Sometimes, it can take that hundreds of shots to capture that one special moment. Because I prefer to have each client's result be special and truly show the essence of the occasion, I only release the best of my photographs.

This sounds great

My suggestion JaE:

Can I see/have all the photos:

Unfortunately, you do not get all of the photos that are actually shot. Being the professional that you have hired, it will be up to my sole discretion to present to you

the photos, which I feel you will love the most and get your money’s worth from.

Hi besa :)

he is keeping hisself so busy. he cut down 2 apple trees in my backyard and gave me a whole new yard. It was crazy he did it all witha machete that we bought at walmart and they were lookin at us crazy when we went in there asking for a machete and my kids friends are afraid of him cause he Jamaican and they came over while he was sharpening the machete it is to funny. My family thinks that he is crazy cause he always workin and finding something to do. I see you are on top of things.

my hubby stayed busy too.. thats how it should be or else they will go mad and take you with them in the process! lol

Good morning everyone:

I am beginning to get really aggrevated because I am not seeing what my dayum 1,010 paid for. So I called USCIS and of course they couldn't tell me anything because hubby wasn't on the phone with me  Anyway, I decided to take a look at the processing time for the Philadelphia office and they are on Feb. 25th cases. We filed March 26th, so hopefully within the next month, we should get our dayum GC.

I also decided to look at the Baltimore office (having Lady C in mind) and they are on Feb. 7th cases and she filed a little before me. So she will be waiting too.

However, I looked at the Atlanta, GA (with DW in mind) and they have a 4 month timeframe, which to me means she should be getting her card really soon. Before Lady C and I, even.

Im sick of USCIS and their nonsense  The senator's office hasn't even gotten back to me either... freakin government and politics...Hope they aren't depending on my vote!!!

Thanks!! I felt kinda bad because like 20 out of 22 people like the OTHER name, but I just saw 'cheap' when I said the name.....

That insurance is FAR too high, have him check out if they will cover the car being 'off-road', that might work!

As for other options, I would ask your FIL to ask around and see if anyone he knows has a car willing to rent long-term...well not sure how long you're staying!

Now, go back and find a negative, or some thing I can improve on lol!

Congrats on the job! Which one was it?

I don't have to go back... one thing that stuck out in my mind was one of your FAQ the one about choosing the photos when you take 10 shots and you choose the one. I think your answer sounded a bit aggressive. I would reword the answer to that question. :)

So finally launched my REAL website, check it out!!

http://www.TaraJPhotography.com

Love your website absolutely professional!

Congrats again on the job JG! Hope it allows for some VJ time.

JaEng- The site came out great! I like the name you chose too. I didn't vote on your FB, but I think this one sounds more professional.

Jess- Wow one day of training and you are on your own? That's nice. So happy for you and this blessing.

Can't believe some of you went to JA and took NO pictures. Cho! (just a random rant)

Does anyone know when the kids get out for Christmas in JA? We are going the 19th and I'm wondering if they will have that week off or get out half way through the week.

So I think the car buying idea is dead. Vaughn's father said insurance would cost about $90 a month. If that is the case then it's cheaper for us to just rent. Does anyone know if there are any cheaper options?

I agree Jess! Im glad you had a great first day...
