IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNVC Process
Hey all,

I'm needing some help and I'm hoping I can find it here.

1. a. My employer made me a letter today verifying my employment with them BUT for the part of my income they were not able to but my annual salary because I work for a staffing agency and my current position is on a temp to hire bases so they put my hourly rate since my assignment can finish at anytime (is what my employer explained to me). Do you think NVC would accept that?
1. b. So now there is my second concern, Will NVC care if I'm working through a staffing agency? I make well over the 125% poverty guideline which is $18,212 this year I believe.

2. Now for the AOS part, if I was to need a co-sponser does it matter if they live in another state? (ex. I live in Mass, co-sponser lives in Georgia).

These are my main concerns right now, thank you all in advance for your responses.

I have the following for AOS:

- Completed and signed I-864EZ
- Original Employment Letter
- Most recent pay stubs
- Copy of 2008 tax returns
- Copy of 2007 & 2006 tax transcripts
- Copy of W-2 for last two years, 2008, 2007
- Copy of forms 1099

And the following for IV:

- Completed DS-230 part I & II and ONLY part I signed by beneficiary.
- 2 passport style photos of the beneficiary.
- Photocopy of the beneficiary’s passport biographic data page.
- Photocopy of the beneficiary’s Identification card.
- Original copy of beneficiary’s birth certificate (long version).
- Original copy of beneficiary’s and petitioner’s marriage certificate (long version).
- Original copy of beneficiary’s police certificate (long version).

I think I have it all, correct?

I-864:
Bar coded coversheet of AOS fee bill. O yeah I have the bar coded cover sheet for both.
Also attach Tax return photocopy with W-2 and 1099-INT (if any).

For IV:
Bar coded coversheet of IV fee bill. O yeah I have the bar coded cover sheet for both.
On back of both photographs write Beneficiary name, DOB and NVC case
I am not sure but in some case passport clearance require.
In some cases petitioner’s birth certificate also require.
Make photocopy of original also and write NVC case# on upper left corner.

Make two sets of photocopies of both package before sending to NVC

Should I write the case number on ALL forms including the AOS forms? Original forms?

What do you mean by, "I am not sure but in some case passport clearance require.
In some cases petitioner’s birth certificate also require.
"?
