Middle East and North Africa	Thursday	Morning Mena people! It got down in the 40's here so the heat went on this morning. Oh god what a day i have. I have to go pick up a rental car and drop mine at the mechanics. We are going up north tomorrow and my car is unsafe to drive so it needs repairs. This is costing more than it was suppossed to. Reminds me though of a crunchy friend I had who insisted on giving birth at home with a midwife and she and her husband actually ATE the placenta after she gave birth. They sauteed it with some garlic, onions, etc. Apparently they read that years ago people would do that to give the mother strength after giving birth. BLECH. Thats just gross!!!
