I am excited for Dancin with the Stars but not so excited about the cast. Guys due to my sickness I haven't had a smoke since 5 pm last Wednesday. Wish me luck, I am going to quit this habit. I have to say alot of you have been my teachers. I'd like to thank you all very much. I certainly hoped my husband would help me more but I have learned alot more from everyone else. Middle East and North Africa	Ramadan 2009	Wow, I thought I was the only one that isn't able to fast. Because of my meds and illnesses my doctor ordered me NOT to fast. Kamal said this is between you and Allah. Anyway, Bridget I do have that link somewhere that Jenn put on here this year. I will look it up and either post it here or pm it to you. I also have a magazine out in the car that you can send money too, its from our masjid. I will go out later and again post it here for everyone to see. Tasha, Kamal has always wanted to send money over to morocco for chairty purposes. I finally have gotton him to see, the money that I have to give because I cannot fast should go to someone here. I live and he lives in the USA, there are so many people (muslims) that are poor as well as the countrys our men come from. But I was very adment on the money staying in the US. Middle East and North Africa	Ramadan 2009	Ok I have a question that I hope someone can answer for me. / My husband works 3rd shift, so Ramadan isn't so hard for him as he sleeps all day cept on the weekends. Now he got changed over to 1st shift for 2 weeks, he forgot about Ramadan before he agreed to work it. Anyways, no matter what, I cannot get him to do anything around the house. Like cut the grass, or finish some work on the patio and deck. His excuse is I'm tired and hungry. Allright but so am I and I still manage to do work around the house. I'm getting very frustrated cause he has enough engergy to go to sales for his books, but not enough to finish what he started around here. I get almost the same excuses when its not Ramadan. And I remember some man making me a promise that he would do all the heavy work, like the yard and such when he got here. And he don't. Short of hiring someone (which we can't afford) what can I do? Middle East and North Africa	Ramadan 2009	I am so frustrated right now and any one who has any suggestions would be helpful. We were discussing the fast at work (at least I was) anyway, I said because of my meds, I am unable to fast all day, maybe part of the day i can but definatly not till after 1 p.m. So I was telling them about how if you can't fast, you pay a certain amount of money to a muslim person that is poor every day. OMG! I thought my boss(who happens to be a good friend) was gonna crack. She was like, how can you do that when you are poor yourself. (NOT) I am not necessarily in the position to be able to fork out money like this, but my husband said we don't have to pay it all at once. But she just didn't understand the fast, the paying if you can't fast and all that.
