K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Visiting after marriage, before Visa application?	Hi I went through the same thing i travelled to the u.s. after marriage had no problems at all just told them my return date said we were in the process of petitioning not a problem at all.We've been lucky every time been searched twice, border both ways have been very good with us. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	after the k3 visa is given	Hi everyone, I'm at the head banging point in this journey yet again. to let everyone know where we are at so far. I'll give an overview before my questions. Both the I-130 and the I-129F have been approved. the k3 is at vancouver and i've faxed the DS-230 part 1 in and just faxed the checklist and completed the DS-156 online. Our medicals are next week and I've requested march 7th for interview.P.S. petition expires march 14.My first question is 1) Do i need the I134 support form for interview? 2)When i'm given the visa how long do i have to move to the u.s. ? 3) Can i take the kids just to visit on spring break before we officially move in june/july? 4) Can i start ead before moving so its done when i get there? I hope you all can pass on some wonderful advice .I hope at some point I'll be able to help someone here also. Canada	consulate confused	Hi everyone i'm so new to this it took 3 days to figure out how to post a message. Well heres the story then the question i was married here in canada in june06mthe I130 was sent in june ,it was received june 23 notice date is july 18, the I129F was sent aug 23.now what is the next step do we sit and wait or can i just proceed on things here ? I also listed calgary as the consulate hope that is right i live in manitoba. this not knowing is killing me,plus my kids start school here so i will have to transfer them and my house will be up for sale this week,hope i don't have to live out of a uhaul for a long time.anyone who has some advice please share it. i spent the last few days in tears over this stress. thank you terry and george	TRKCKL11	Not Telling	Canada	2006-08-30 20:09:00
Canada	GST	hi sorry about caps being on , i'll downsize what i wrote, i called gst to report my marital status change and name also, while on the phone i was told that i needed to provide my non residents 2005 income as gst is based on family income even though we don't live together yet. and that i may have to pay some of my july payment back as we married in june. gst is based month to month. child tax is okay though. all payments will end when i move to the u.s thanks also for clearing house info . hope this can be read now	TRKCKL11	Not Telling	Canada	2006-09-21 21:55:00

IF YOU HAVE MARRIED A U.S. CITIZEN AND HAVE NOT MOVED THERE YET YOU STILL HAVE TO NOTIFY GST OF YOUR MARITAL STATUS, AND GET A COPY OF YOUR U.S. SPOUSES 2005 INCOME TAX RETURN. SO THEY CAN ADJUST YOUR FAMILY INCOME, I WAS TOLD I MAY HAVE TO PAY PART F MY JULY CREDIT BACK AS WE MARRIED IN JUNE. CHILD TAX CREDIT IS OK THOUGH YOU LOSE IT WHEN YOU MOVE ACROSS. Canada	duplicate forms and cpoies oh no	hi wow after being on here nearly a month i feel so lost. when my hubby and i started this process we only used uscis information which i'm sure everyone knows isn't all that clear. we had done some research and discovered the k3/k4 visa so we got married then filled out i130 and sent it then after seeing that it was still a long process my brain unfroze and i remembered we were doing k3 so off went the i129f we got rfe on the i130 they needed the divorce judgements not the certicates as dates were different and had no judges signature, so we sent that in and are waiting for receipt of that, and of course we never made any copies of our original petions. we also never sent all 4 copies each of the g325 i think we sent 2 only as there was noinfo on thisin uscis. then of course i discover this great site here, and all i can hope is we haven't messed this whole process up. this is really stressful.so my question is other then not haveing copies of the petions will this mess up my interview or do they send you copies of your original petition to take with you? i'll even give them 10 cents a copy if it helps.everyone here is so wonderful with their advice and care and concern for others here thank you Attached Files  Terry_and_Eddie_Smith.jpg   13.11KB   4 downloads	TRKCKL11	Not Telling	Canada	2006-09-27 09:28:00
Canada	Other options?	hi i'm not sure howcustoms at airport is but border crossing is easy ,and they do keep track of how long you've been in the us when they run your name. i never have problems since july i just say i'm going to see my u.s. husband and when i'll return. they never ask mystatus for immigration even, a lot depends on agent you talk to but all have been great so far. our next weekend visit is in 23 days yahooo. You can call provincial goverment services for health care and houseing also.If you can take a leave of absense from work would be better to come here through his cancer treatments, you may have trouble even later on with insurance anyways. Canada	Moving Household Goods	hi i looked into a few options too. because i'm moving all my furniture also i rented a uhaul its one way plus free month storage so that helps alot i would be very careful with what is taken across on visits border frowns on this. I have no idea if my case will show on records at the rcmp, but i was fingerprinted. Canada	Canadian Conviction History?	i worried about this question also. manitoba has a zero tolerence rule on domestic violence. both spouses are charged no matter what. so i have been finger printed by the rcmp no charges were laid against me as i was the abused. so i assume i answer yes to this. I do remember officer said the prints are sealed and sent to ottawa. Though the 2nd time it happened only he was charged i never had to appear so who knows how this all works. Canada	How long after approval did you move?	its all up in the air for us. since we don't have approval yet and if its into new year i'll wait till kids are done school. I think it would be too hard for them to adjust that late in the year, I'm sure there is a big difference in the studies and the u.s. schools are done first week of june.
