Just checked my status online and it said that as of August 7th I was placed in line for interview. It's now Sept 19 and have not received any notification. Also I have not received any letter informing that I'm in line to be scheduled for interview. Is that normal procedure? Thanks!



I just looked at my account with USCIS and the 30 days has changed to 90 days. I called into customer service yesterday and today the language has changed :bonk:


"On August 16, 2012, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 90 days of the date above, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address."

Please can someone add me to the chart!

I had reached 90 days, then I decided to contact my Senator, they informed that an inquiry was made, and that a response would come in 30 days, I knew that a response should occur before that time frame, and within seven days did not get any reslt. So at 97 days I contacted my Congressman and was given the same response, they immigration speacialist in his office seemed more helpful, so I called them every other day and wihin a few days, I had my approval.

Just saying when you call the office always follow up often. Hopefully this will make a difference.

It usually takes couple weeks to tranfer the file from the NVC to the embassy and from there it takes another 4-6 weeks to send out the packet due to the lazy dumbs sitting over there. You get the interview letter normally couple months earlier.

Calling the embassy is a waste and useless, they don't even know what they tells you.

I am glad you made it through your last two days, I know they were difficult for you.

Yes I made it home this weekend and my dress is 95 percent finished. You know Ghana it needs to be cleaned and ironed and i SHOULD PROBABLY LOOSE A COUPLE OF POUNDS (cause it is fitted and my train is way to long). But, other than that everything is good thanks for asking.

Yeah, I survived the funeral. We got there and the body was still at the hospital. Can you believe it? I was stuck sitting with those women chatting away all around me for 4 hours before the body even arrived!

I am glad you made it through your last two days, I know they were difficult for you.

Yes I made it home this weekend and my dress is 95 percent finished. You know Ghana it needs to be cleaned and ironed and i SHOULD PROBABLY LOOSE A COUPLE OF POUNDS (cause it is fitted and my train is way to long). But, other than that everything is good thanks for asking.

I have a meeting with my wedding party this weekend and everyone will try them on, I'll take some finished pics and post them.
