I am back in Canada now. flew in this morning with Chris I wasnt able to get online at his house because his laptop thought it would be a good idea to quit working while I was there. Two weeks without a computer.... I thought I was going to go nuts!!! lol Vero, I was in Covington Georgia. It was over 100 degrees almost every day I was there.... thank god for A/C. I am so happy to see that Rose is approved. Congrats!! Vero and J&J good luck! you wont need it tho. You guys have all you need already. I know you will both be approved Chris and I leave on Monday for Montreal. I am a little nervous but not much. I figure if we dont have enough stuff then there is nothing we can do. I need to get my butt going on this stuff. blah I hate organizing things. Good news is I'm in Georgia with Chris till we fly back to Windsor on aug. 7th. have everything up here so he can help me put it all together This was a very sudden trip. We were talking on Wed. and next thing I knew we had plans to meet in Ohio the next day and he'd bring me home (Georgia) for a few weeks. Seems like so long ago we were filling out all the first forms.... well I guess it has been so long ago... like a year ago!! wow crazy. I am glad we are past that and on our way to moving. Canada	August Interviews in Montreal - K1	I've been to Quebec city with my grade 8 class. It was pretty with all the old buildings and cobble stone roads. the only issue I had there was the people were so rude if you didnt know how to speak french. We were grade school students and they were still rude to us! lol Oh well, Montreal is a nice city and everyone that I ran into there was very nice. Great shopping mall too! hehe. Chris and I are staying for three days. I cant wait to go out and explore more of Montreal. Canada	Form listing belongings to present to border?	I made my own list too. I just put box 1 - Alex's toys (dinos, trucks, cars), box 2 - children books etc. They never asked to see it and didnt go through my belongings. I asked two people if they wanted my list of items and both told me no. Canada	Vaccinations	It also applies for woman who are pregnant and can not get the shots due to pregnancy. She will then have to have them done in the U.S. after the baby is born. All I brought to my medical was my little yellow booklet stating what shots I had. I only had to get an updated tetanus shot and I did that before my medical. Canada	dual citizenship	My son is both Canadian by birth and an American through his father. We were told that whatever we use to leave whatever country we are living in (at the time Canada) we needed to us that ID to enter back in, that way it is easier to keep track. So my son had to use his Canadian ID to enter the U.S. (even tho he is a American)because we were living in Canada. Now that we are living in the U.S. we are supposed to use his U.S. passport to leave and then reenter the U.S. This is because now that we are living in the U.S. we will be visiting Canada, not living there. Our home is in the U.S. now so we use the U.S. ID. This was told to us by the Canadian boarder. Canada	How big is big?	I would bring a few dollars in change with you. There are vending machines with water, juice, pop and snacks in there and if you have a long wait you might want something to drink and eat. I know I was starving and we only had bills and the woman wouldn't exchange it for change. The vending machines do not accept bills. The interview is very easy. They ask about five questions and they aren't even hard ones. We were ask how we met, why it took so long for us to start the K1 process, when Chris asked me to marry him and a couple other really easy questions. Canada to US	One time when I was crossing My Aunt and Uncle were bringing me to the detroit airport, I only had a one way ticket, I got pulled into secondary and questioned. They didnt like that I only had a one way ticket and the only reason they let me cross was because my Aunt offered to buy me a return ticket right then and there. I got a big lecture about having to have a return ticket and proof of ties to Canada. Needless to say, I never made that mistake again. Each time I crossed after that we got sent into secondary but I have never been turned away. Next time make sure she has a round trip and bring bank statements, a letter from her parents saying she lives with them and they are expecting her home on whatever date her return ticket is for and anything else that can show she lives in Canada and has to return (doctors appointments, interview dates etc.)	mandaNchris	Female	Canada	2011-02-21 12:42:00

They asked him one question (when he asked me to marry him) and he messed up lol Said in Aug. but it was actually in Oct. No big deal. Canada	My Appendix burst less than a week before my interview	Well there were a lot of stairs and it was painful but I got my visa approved today.
