yes, you can use the apartment lease. as long as your wife is on the lease and she has your last name, it should be no problem.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionVery Frustrated; RFE
not applying to a RFE, in the eyes of uscis, you are in contemp and can be deported. unless you can show proof or having a interview and explaining to them that you had never received the RFE letter. most likely they won't do anything to you becaused there are cases that mail can be lost in the mail. i am not saying that they will deport you, what i am saying is that in their eyes not applying to a RFE, you can be deported but in most or all cases, if you do not apply to RFE, you can explain things to them.

it depends on how long you are marry to send uscis your tax transcripts. uscis requires two years of your joint income tax returns.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionIs it "mandatory" to include affidavits???
i am going to send my roc in large brown envelopes. brown large envelope for each subject. for exsample, all electric and cable bills in one large brown envelope, tax returns in another envelope, insurance in another brown envelope, and so on. i did this with my wife's aos and we had no problem. alot of members on vj uses another method but i will use the large brown envelopes.

uscis shouldn't get confused if you send them a large package for your ROC. the more evidence you sent them, the better it is. they shouldn't send you RFE because you had send them a large package with alot of documents.

no you don't need it. if you think that you don't have enough evidence, then it is a good idea to have at least two of them.

i will send not only the front page but all the pages for every month for the past 2 years. uscis wants to see the full transaction on the bank statements. i know some members only sends in one statement for every 3 months. i will feel safe if i send in bank statements for every month, front and back for the past 2 years.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionUnsuccessful Changes of Address
i thought that uscis doesn't send out a reminder notice. on the uscis website, they say that they don't send out a reminder notice for the 1-751. anyway, i printed out my wife's ar-11 and one week later, i received the 1-865 confirmation that i had send out.

on your 1-751 form, put your current address.
also, make copies of all your ar-11 that you had already filled out and keep them just in case if they ask you why you didn't filled out your ar-11. i don't think there will be no problem as long as you put your current address on the 1-751 application.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionRFE and Moving...HELP!
do the ar-11 online and then print out your confirmation. you can't do it by phone. also, make sure that your sponser mail out the 1-865 change of address. he would have to mail it out. go to the post office and also file a change of address with them. you can also tell them to hold your mail which is no cost. also, after mailing out the sponser's 1-865 change of address he will get a receipt by mail from uscis.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionReminder Notice from uscis.
Hello vj members. I want to make sure that i am right or wrong. My wife came into the united states on november 27th, 2010. She was issue her two year greencard on may 3, 2011. Her greencard expires on may 3rd, 2013. I have received a reminder notice from uscis but it said that the records show that you entered the united states on 5/03/2011. You must file form 1-751, petition to remove conditions on residence. What i want to know is, does uscis consider her coming to the states once she had received her 2 year greencard or is it a mistake on their part. it also said, the records of this service indicate that you entered the united states as a conditional permanent resident on 5/03/2011. I think that the uscis goes by when she had received her 2 year greencard and not when she enter the states which was on november 27th, 2010. Please let me know if i am right or wrong. Thank you for any replys.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionChange of address
you have to fill out ar-11 online and then print out the ar-11 confirmation. you are not supposed to send the ar-11 out by mail. your sponser is supposed to send out the 1-865 by mail. then they will send you a receipt for the 1-865. you should send out the 1-865 with your correct address which you have on your 1-751 application. if you did sent out the ar-11 by mail, i would fill out the ar-11 again online and do not send it out by mail. just print out your ar-11 with your confirmation number.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionCashier's Check or regular check from our checking account.
Hello vj members. What would be better to send out with our roc package. As for as payment, would it be better to send out a cashier's check or a regular check from our checking account. The reason why i ask is becaused with the regular check, uscis will delay things until the check clears. With the cashier's check from our bank, it won't delay the process. Also on the cashier's check, i want to have both of our names on it. On our regular checks from our checking account, we do have both of our names on it. I notice that on this website, i see members sending in cashier's checks. I just wanted to know which way is better. thank you everyone.

you can get your 2011 taxes done now and then get a copy of it. also, when you get it done, also get tax transcripts and send them in. you still have time to get these done before your greencard expires. also, get your 2012 taxes done.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionlast minute questions on the packet
if i am not mistaken, on the 1-751 instructions, it doesn't say that you have to use tabs or anything like that. you can even put your package in large envelopes by titles. for exsample, all savings account statements in one envelope, all electric bills in another envelope, and so on with using paper clips. you can send or assemble your package any way you want to. i had put my documents in large brown envelopes by title and using paper clips for my aos and had no problem. i am going to do the same thing next week with my 1-751 package. as long as you have enough documents, uscis won't reject your 751 becaused the way you had sent it.

ATTACHED A LETTER TO YOUR 1-751 APPLICATION AND EXPLAINED IN THE LETTER THAT YOU HAD ALREADY SEND IT IN WITH YOUR 2 YEAR GREENCARD AND EXPLAINED THAT YOU ARE HAVING A HARD TIME WITH THE COURT HOUSE OF GETTING ANOTHER ONE. my wife had received her extension letter [ROC] yesterday. I would like to thank all vj members becaused everyone was a big help to me and my wife. This vj website was a big help on my wife's AOS and also on the ROC. Without this website and also without the members on this website, i know that i would had some problems doing the AOS and the ROC. Becaused of the vj members, i did everything correct and i also advoided problems. I know that we had sent in alot of documents and evidence to the VSC and i hope that there won't be RFE sent to us. My wife's next step is going for her fingerprints and we are waiting for the appointment letter. The good about this website is everybody helps each other and that is a good thing. I will keep on coming on this vj website to see if i can help other members on their ROC. Also, if i should get a RFE or other problems, i will come on this website and i am very sure that everyone will help. Once again to all vj members, thank you very much.
