K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Any august filers for I-129F	Natsman, I do not understand the logic behind European date format. Or PC friendly date format. When I speak I say today is September 9th, 2007. Month, day, year. simple. I wouldn't say today is 9 September. Nor would I say today is 2007, September 9. Sorry, was just reading your signature. Is it really necessary to shoot down the format of US dating? No matter how you write it, people will understand what you mean. To make it easy I just wrote mine in a format the government uses. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	How long i wait	It sounds like they may have reviewed your case a little deeper, perhaps. and then possibly sent you an RFE. A request for more evidence. If this is the case, you will need to follow the instructions of that notice when it arrives in your snailmail postal box. I'm not certain, but from the info you gave, this sounds like the case. Either way, I'm sorry you have waited so long. and if I were you I'd really start getting your local congressman involved. I cant tell you how many nights I stayed up very very late....checking my status and simply checking for new approvals on VJ. I was shocked to be approved in November. It is true today and it was true over 200 years ago. He quoted Benjamin Franklin and others who said things that were just as narrow minded, bigotted and anti immigrant as what is being said today. Despite the fact that this country was built by immigrants and our culture is stronger and more vibrant because of their influence, human nature does not evolve much over the years. Unfortunately so many Americans are on high alert now, very cautious of "outsiders" or "new comers" or "immigrants". But can you really blame them? The hairless chimp in D.C. scares this nation into pre-judging. Its a shame. We've taken a step back. And that's not good. Hey, I saw that you PMed me but our wedding was on Saturday so we have been crazy busy, but now I am back to work! 1) I am under the impression that as long as you have a letter from your employer saying how much you make currently, you will be ok. Our interview in Sydney consisted of "what is your fiance's name" "where does she live". I was so worried about the affidavit but that was the least of our concerns looking back. 2) I sent original paystubs, but I got one notarized employer letter and one not notarized (two different employers). Tax returns, I just signed and printed off a copy online. The form from the bank takes about a week and they will try to charge you like $30 (bank of america) but I just got one that was $10 and was essentially the same thing. It's signed by someone at the bank and it's some generic form. Give yourself about 7 working days to get this. 3) For that part, I debated for a while on what to put. I ended up putting something like "I intend to support Jonathan as my fiance, then as my spouse, in whatever ways necessary" Hope that helps. Message me if you have anymore questions!! For REAL...that just sounds like some really evil 'f-with her head' ish they are making up as they go along!! With 77 approvals and one more day to go, we could damn near double that old record. I know that there are some serious problems in organization but VSC has certainly turned a corner. If they have approved a filer from mid August I think anything is possible with VSC. I dont understand the way they jump around. Its just stupid.
