very true. i did not bother to have any receipts translated at all. I figured since they were only an insignificant amount of the pile of proof that i supplied why bother. FWAGUY is very correct in his statement though, Guess I will find out in a few days if I made a mistake.

§ 1003.33 Translation of documents.



Any foreign language document offered by a party in a proceeding shall be accompanied by an English language translation and a certification signed by the translator that must be printed legibly or typed. Such certification must include a statement that the translator is competent to translate the document, and that the translation is true and accurate to the best of the translator's abilities.


If you fiancee meets the above requiremtents and signs a statement as such then she can

Quoting misinformation to the OP does not help out them or you. Now the OP is ready to pick up and move to get a visa quicker. A little more investigation by the OP and the person quoting others would be of greater value to a positive outcome. Nobody has all of the correct answers or even all of the answers; but, giving a few correct answers or mostly correct answers beats a clearly incorrect answer. While this may be quite true for some countries I believe that without fairly strong social or economic ties to her country the I-134 is not going to get her a tourist visa alone.

Now that we know more about your sittuation, here is my personal advice:
If your boyfriend from US Airforce want to marry you, then he needs to file a pettition for you (I-129F) with the USCIS office to get you a K-1 fiancee VISA. Once you'll get your foot on US soil, you have 90 days to marry your fiancee, or you'll have to go back to your country.
If there are no marriage intentions at this time, you can try to visit him on a tourist visa, and he can help you to get that by sending you a I-134 Affidavit of support.

I'm the tail end of Nov. and there are only twenty left ahead of me by FWAGUYS update as of last night. I hope they hurry up. There will be no more noa2's posted till wednesday because Monday is a holiday.

I have been watching thos Nov dates like there is no tomorrow. December is close and it seems to be taking forever now. I can't wait to see FWAguys next timeline update. I am just praying for an approval and not an RFE! Looks like you and I will be waiting together Matt since our NOA1 dates are so close. I will keep you in my prayers.

I disagree. I believe they'll disassemble the binder and pitch it, so that they can put the papers in the order they want. You'll be able to see your file once you get to the AOS interview stage. All our original paperwork was in a different order than we submitted it, in a manila folder.

I packages everything in a nice binder, in organized sections with a cover detailing the sections and what was in those sections, clearly labled and all of the information in slip sheets for easy removal. however you do it make sure it is easy to find stuff and not a clustered mess.
Contents include:

- Payment in the amount of $ 170.
- I-129F
- G-325A (Petitioner)
- G-325A (Beneficiary)
- Birth certificate (Petitioner)
- Evidence of having met in person in the past two years
- Original statements of intent to marry. (Petitioner and Beneficiary)
- copies of prior divorces (Petitioner)
- passport style photo (Beneficiary)
- passport style photo (Petitioner)

thats the way mine was organized, does not mean its the right way or the only way

I was just wondering how most of you packaged all your information to send. What I mean is, I purchase a thin binder and I was going to put all the papers and proof and label everything. Will this be acceptable?

I was also reading that someone mentioned about overstaying their visitor visa and when they applied for the K-1 they told of this occurance and they didn't have any problem getting everything passed. If anyone has had to put this same sort of information regarding overstaying a visa on the K-1, I would love to hear about it. Also, if you could include how long you overstayed and what red flags this may have triggered in the process and how you handled them.

agreed! you are making this way to confusing. just look at these words only "passport style photo" tell your retailer that's what you want and your covered.

Are you trying to do these yourself? If not, don't worry. Just go someplace where they take passport photos and you'll have what you need.

not sure where you are because your profile is not filled out. Wal-mart photo center $10 for two. In china i got some done to and they were available anyplace almost that developed film. just tell the photographer you need passport phots and you will get what you need, more likely then not.

Please, can you tell what is the right photo style to send with I-129F. I am confused about that explanation.
