Finallly a good word..... good.gif ...the embassy admits it has my SO's ds230, it's been there since 12-9!!!!!! now we are still waiting for that interview date.....UGH! But i'm wondering too about the timing of going for interview, can i stay long enough to take that flight back with him??? it's his first too, so i'd love to be there by his side...best flight ever for me! It's seems next to impossible to figure out the plan, so...i'm trying to go with the flow. My work is going flip out when i hand in that time off notice without enough notice....but i've warned them, Love trumps work.....cause i know it will be there when i get back and i'm going to be delegating what can't wait. (healthcare.......never ending work!) Our 2 year anniversary is 4-10.........would be nice to be coming home on that date, or at least be together. heart.gif culture1

Glad they finally resolved the problem Culture! Hopefully they will get you an interview date pronto.

It was rec'd in 5 days.

Thanks Roxie. Was it a box?

It was a box... Island woman the reason I used register mail was thqt the Ins is aalready included inthe cost... With Priority mail, Ins is an additional fee. They both works, but it's what value you put on the package.

Oh I get it - if you insure a priority mail box it gives you a tracking #. Thanks ladies.

No fast food in Ochi for me! blink.gif
http://www.jamaica-s...news/news1.html

Customers at a popular fast-food restaurant in the heart of Ocho Rios received a shock during their lunch hour on Friday as they lined up to purchase lunch.

A huge rat fell on to a female customer as she sat in the restaurant enjoying her meal.

Instantly, the afternoon's relative quiet was shattered by ear-shattering screams by the frightened woman and her female friend.

When the other customers, mostly women, realised what was happening, the restaurant became a virtual mad house as they scampered in all directions, some on to chairs, some outside, to avoid the now frightened animal as it too scurried about, trying to get away.

One brave woman showed some guts as the rodent came close to her, giving it a huge kick, sending it slamming against the counter and almost on to a woman standing there

LMAO!!! While I wouldn't want to be the woman the rat fell on, I bet that was one funny sight in there!!

I have returned from Jamaica. Let me first take a moment to offer warm wishes to those with good news and or bad events. Remember God is on this journey with us all!

I know you are wondering how many pictures do I have? Over 500 pictures to share, an even if I could, I would share all of them but I am limited by VJ and photobucket!

I want to keep this short and just mention that this trip was something to remember! Ryon and I are still learning about each other, sharing our space together and letting go of the past.

Ryon's mom came into town to take care of me while Ryon was at work and NOW, I understand why he is with me because the mom and I are just alike.

I did manage to hook-up with Sol at her rental home in Ochi, went to Ocean 11 for karaoke, ate Chinese food, and visited Fern Gully. So YES this trip has tested my love for JA and Ryon!

[font="Times New Roman"][size=3]I am glad to be home.

Hey all... there is a venue called PlayDate in several major cities across the US. Here is the website:

http://www.playdateus.com/

Look for your city, or one that's close... And go!! It is alot of fun!!! I went to mine in Dallas... here are some photos of me playing Simon Says. Hilarious!! (I'm in the green hoodie)

Happy Birthday MrsBuggy. Playdates looks like alot of fun - but it's apparently a southern thing. Nothing close to us in the north. sad.gif

I am sorry for your friend, that she has to go thru this, but all you can do is be there for her.

But how many times does she have to allow this ridiculousness (is that even a word?) into her life? I don't get it. I'm all for not wanting to admit you made a mistake the 1st time...but the 2nd, 3rd, 4th...?

I agree with Roxie - you can't make her choices for her, only support her and hug her when her tears flow. When there is a child involved, it makes the decisions much more complicated.

exactly Jai...how r u?

many ppl on here fail to see what is infront of the..as if this man is some how "better", "more honest" etc, than the ones infront of us..OPEN UR EYES...asking for money never starts right away!

I don't see it quite that way - just that if they are here, they are more in your face so you tend to it clearer. Sometimes it hard to see things clearly over the phone and on a couple trips a year.

Totally agree, Know of someone who had problems at home but never documented anything. Her co-worker who she opened up to documented everything even her daying if she does not show up to work ..yada, yada yada. this was used to convict the husband...her co-worker's documentation.

That's a good friend - she was blessed to have her in her time of need.

Philly don't stress...as Lawny told me it is no big deal and it isn't. And tell him to stop listening to people. Have all your stuff in order and you will be fine.

I agree with Dillon - if you're on your game you will be fine. People lose to tell stories, just like when you are pregnant they love to tell their horror story.
