I have done that before. Some guy called my house when I was still living with my parents....maybe late teens. They called at like 2 a.m., all drunk and slurring, and when I answered the guy was like, oh, sorry wrong number. I verified it was not the right number. He called back again. I called him when I got up at 6 and when he answered I said, you really need to make sure you are calling the right number if you decide to call someone at 2 a.m.

I have a pet peeve to vent about today. Why don't people who live in other countries (or states, for that matter) think about what time it may be where they are calling, BEFORE they pick up the phone and call? We had some GD fool from Germany call us at 2:30 this morning.

I picked up the phone, turned it off, and then threw it across the room. So sick of these calls whenever anyone feels like talking. It happens so often.

Call them back at 2:30 their time. Say sorry I missed your call since I was sleeping........ wacko.gif

Lots of factors in there, but I would say it is highly likely he can't stay under any grounds = especially if the crime falls under the "moral turpitude" category - which is so broad and vague it's just about anything. Basically, being convicted of anything that could result in more than 1 year jail sentence, whether actually served or not - literally 366 days -

They do have halloween there, but I think its a little different than ours. I think there it is costumes and party - of course. Here is is costumes and candy!

Sorry TL, I had to laugh at you rofl.gif I could have told you that. Most of the houses they're buiding in Jamaica look like US homes 2 levels or more 2 to 3 car garages. The house my aunt built in St. Mary looks ridiculous, it does'nt fit the area. People think it's a hospital or some health facility.

Lawney.... good.gif I want a small house there. I'm tired to cleaning!

I hear you TL, my aunt complains about all the dust and that she has to clean the house two times for the week (just dusting). She now regrets building a house that big. All her kids moved out a year after she built it and the area has seen a lot of crime, so now, she doesn't know what to do.

Run it as a guest house and rent it to us VJ sistrens. Honestly, that is what I would like to do. Have Auntie run a guest house for me so that me or my friends can go down and have someone to show them around and "look" after them but yet get away from the pricey tourist resorts.

I just need to find the money to pay for my guesthouse....... whistling.gif

For those that filed K-1, how did you plan a wedding? Where did you do your wedding and reception? What was the cost of your wedding? I have been married twice before, and never wanted a wedding until now (mostly because I did not want to get married before). I have been looking a t many options for my area, but have found that even a small wedding will be an arm and a leg for us! But I will not give it up due to cost! This is it, THE ONE, so it will be all I dream of.

On another subject, Steve has found that due to a hurricane a long time ago the hospital does not have records of his immunizations. Is there somewhere else we could find them, maybe some sort of registry? If not, can we get them done with any doctor while I ma there in January or does it need to be a specific doc?

One more thing, has anyone found a need for a high school diploma in the process or once they are here?

Have him try his school - they should have his records there.

Clairey I must say I am very proud of Mike..mi fren always tellmi seh wah a fi yuh cyaan be fo nobody else smile.gif ., Yes, take your time go in with a level head about the future. After Thanksgiving and ur trip is over maybe un can invite him up for the x-mas holidays and ring in the New Year together? I believe it is cause of hs adjustment why he was having second thoughts. Give it a go I say good.gif

Yes, Kimmy, the adjustment has really been hard on him. He wrote to me and explained to me how he felt. He is used to being the "man" and taking charge and he told me that he was afraid of me and how grounded I was and he was coming with nothing and had nothing to offer. He was used to being in chage and now he has to be dependent on others for even a haircut. He apologised for hurting and disappointing me and realized that I am a fair person who see my partner as my equal no matter what they bring into the relationship. He is telling me how much he loves and does not want to lose what we have and he will try to be the person that I fell in love with. This is the first time since I visited him in May that he has told me how he really feels about me. I am taking it easy and one day at a time and see how things work themselve out. I don't want to loose what we have and I really put a lot into this relationship with him. I just hope and pray that it work out for me.

How old is Mike? Sounds like he and A are brothers/uncles/cousins......... whistling.gif
