I didn't get a response on Friday, but the e-mail I sent wasn't really one to respond too I guess. At the time I sent it I still hadn't found him and had no idea so I just sent them one informing of the accident so they didn't put a big red X on him as a no show. I will send them one in the am requesting a new date. I'm thinking though I just may ask for one for January and then I can go. I would hate to have yet another set back if they blue slip him for my presence. Better to go on a planned trip and get a sale ticket then buy a ticket cuz they are telling me too.

Thanks, Jawi. I just got off the phone with him and he said the pastor has been praying for him all day. He said that he told him he should've went to church to pray with the pastor before heading to the embassy because the demons were stopping him because someone must have been jealous of him and put a hex on him.

I was like uh okay Babe...how about next time you just plan ahead and get there the night before instead of trying to go at 3:00 am with a tired driver who was driving way too fast. headbonk.gif

He is doing okay. He is sore and each day has a different part aching, but I told him to expect that. I was in an accident when I was 17 and 10 years later started having problems with my neck.

He is more "bruised" inside I think. He was really shook up about having his son with him in the accident. He talked about putting him on his lap and burying his face and trying to use his body to protect Jr's from the glass and whatnot flying around while they were rolling. That part really scared him and shook him up, especially the "what if..." questions.

The doctor doesn't feel I will need physical therapy. I can already tell that the original pain is gone...just have to get past the surgery pain now. I can't drive a car again until Dec 18th. I won't be back to work until 2009.

I'm back in the land of I don't know. I shot the embassy an e-mail this morning when all the madness went down but didn't get a response. I just looked at the new website for scheduling appointments but of course it doesn't have anything to do with us. So I guess I beg and plead for another appointment. I told him to make sure he gets some kind of paperwork from the hospital for today, cuz the embassy ain't gonna believe this.

I've read on these boards before though that if you get there before the interviews are done, you can still make it to your appt. I wonder if that's true and if he can make it. I just really want him to get approved so you two can be together! Those dang crazy bus drivers and he should've listened to you about going the day before. Thanks everyone. I haven't heard from him again as of yet so I'm not sure if he was going to try to get there. He said they were headed to the hospital when they finished with the police. Said his chest was really hurting. If he does make it today, hopefully the CO will feel very sorry for him and just pink slip him with no troubles!

I sent them an e-mail this morning, while I was calling all the hospitals. I'm still not sure where he is - I couldn't hear him very well because he was obviously in traffic and I could hear cop sirens around.

I have a few cousins that were on their way to work this morning. I just got off the phone with them and they didn't hear anything about an accident in that area or on that stretch of road. Do you know if the bus was going Chalky Hill? I pray he's okay. Those minivan drivers are CRAZY!


Thank you GOD! He just called - the bus was trying to pass a line of cars and hit something and overturned. He said he hit his chest and his foot is swollen and Jr hit his chest. They went to some little clinic but will go to the hospital after they finish with the police.

But his biggest worry ....he can't find all the papers that were in the envelope that I just sent down. I told him don't worry about it right now!!

Thank you all for holding my hand, again. I love you guys. Now I'm going to bawl some relief.

Thank you all. I just called the American Consulate and they are trying to find something out for me (I'm suprised she even understood what I was saying through my bawling) I even called the Observer to see if they had a report of a bus accident and she said nothing since September.

Depends on the accident - when DJ crashed his car it was 4 days before the police came around, and only bc they considered the wreck to be abandoned blink.gif


A bus load of people overturning I would think is a big deal. Not at Port Maria either. Neither one of those hospitals have anyone who was in a bus accident this morning. What else is in St Ann? I have never felt so helpless.

OMG!!! Prayers please. This is my worst nightmare. I just got a call from Auntie, who just got a call from the bus driver. The bus that A and Jr were on this morning overturned in St Ann's. Driver said he was at the hospital but then his phone cut. We have no idea what hospital or what is wrong.
She just is getting voicemail.

How do I find them????

That's usually what happens once you make the decision to leave a job. Those last few weeks are always the worst!

I will be working alot through December. I found out the Holiday Inn has x-mas parties scheduled every Friday and Saturday for the whole month. But with that business you gotta take it when it comes. I will be thankful for the extra money with the way the economy is going right now.

Tonight is "She and Me" movie night at the school - so I get to take my kids and sit on the school floor and watch Kung Fu Panada.

I have house cleaning to do. Since I don't have to work (yipee!) I think I will paint my son's room. I have trying to tackle that for some time now but couldn't muster up the energy to tackle making the mess. It's going to daymn cold here this weekend so I could stand staying in.
