You will send everything to your fiancée so she can submit it to the Filipino pre-screener prior to her final interview with the consular officer. Will you be attending the interview? You are OK because the consular officer will be looking at your current sustained income. You will need to submit some current paycheck stubs to verify your current income...the more the better. Also, a letter from your employer would help greatly. In addition, I would have your fiancée try to submit a short letter from you explaining your circumstances, making it clear that you now have a full-time job and that your income has increased. I'm a bit confused how they keep assuming the comment "I periodically fly to manila maybe 3-4 times/year to be with them.", means he suddenly stopped doing that in 2009. This totally sounds to me like what he has always been doing over the long years of their relationship, and currently still does. He just didn't understand one of the steps towards approval is proving the in person meeting in the two years previous to filing. Actually I did include the tickets, photo and stuff its just not within the specified 2 years. I would think the "2 years" was the minimum requirements to show that the relationship is bonafide. So I thought sending earlier evidences would be more preferred. I guess I was wrong. Anyway will be sending as they required. Yes, just send them what they require. I don't know why people are having a hard time understanding your situation. You see your family three or four times per year, and you thought the USCIS would appreciate the fact that you have had a long-term relationship with your fiancée and you have two kids with her. The only thing you didn't do is to send any evidence from the two-year period immediately preceding your filing, but you do have that evidence and you will be sending it in. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	VSC - NOA2 finally granted	Thank you, now I have to prepare for the interview. I was reading your story and I will read others. I was not clear on what they needed the third page of the applicaton for. I thought that was part of the orginal sumbission. Yes, the third page of the I-129F was part of the original submission to the USCIS. However, when I printed out the completed I-129F, none of the boxes on the I-129F had check marks. I don't know why the check marks didn't print out. I didn't catch it before I sent it in to the USCIS. Amazingly, the petition was approved by the USCIS, and the NVC forwarded it to the Embassy. Even though none of the boxes on any page were checked, the consular officer only wanted an answer to question 2 on page three. You know, the question about whether I'd ever been convicted in a court of law... Apparently, the consular officer didn't care about any of the other boxes that didn't have check marks. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	What is going on at the NVC?	Usually this means that the USCIS will review your case for around 180 days then you will get a notice of intent to revoke. Then you have 30 days to submit any evidence to prove your relationship. Then after you submit this evidence they will take 60 days to review your evidence and give you a reply of denied or re-approved. After that it goes back to NVC to the consulate and another interview is given. This is what time frame we are on and waiting to see if our evidence is good or not. ^^^ des1867 has a USCIS-approved K-1 Fiancé(e) visa petition sitting at the NVC and it's under administrative processing. Your CR-1 spousal visa petition is handled differently than a K-1 fiancé(e) petition, so your advice does not apply to des1867. des1867...Don't worry. Everything will be fine. The NVC has already assigned your petition an MNL case number, and they will send it to Manila after they get done checking the things they feel they need to check. In the meantime, keep calling them to find out when it was sent to Manila. Once it leaves the NVC, then your fiancée can pay the visa fee at BPI and schedule an interview. Best wishes to you both.
