IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	i am starting to think that there is something wrong with their system some one else was approved with a k-1 and just was updated and didn't get an approval online but received the hardcopy approval. TJ says she was touched on july 14th and she is an april filer. maybe there are approvals and people aren't updating or maybe they are receiving in the mail. who knows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	See i know from last year that their year end is september 30th and they need to get so many petitions done by then. i also know they extended the haitian quake visa's also so maybe they are working on them. since the k-1's for vermont is almost up to date then maybe they will send some visa's over to them. they are approving the vermonts k-1's like crazy so i wouldn't be surprised that we get approved very soon. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	Well tom i know from experience from last year that background checks was done now in 30 days or less. so the background checks are done on march and april filers. and like i said before if you look at vsc they are doing june filers now so there background checks are even faster. but last year i know when they were behind they took the cases home and worked on weekends. so let's see they charged us more and they are slower than ever. it has been two months since march has been approved. as of april 30th they were almost done with february and now almost three months later they haven't completed march yet. what is wrong with this picture? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	does anyone know this answer? if you go to the uscis website. they give you a graph and it says that there are all others pending in yello9w and rfe in gray and green is compltetions and blue is what sent in the months. how come in march and april on that graph it says a certain amount received and a certain amount completed. am i reading this graph wrong? it is under trends and volumes and majority of april are done on that graph. so not understand. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	In 2007 USCIS i-130 filing fee $175 and now 2010 i130 fee $355 they increase 3 times more and still slow this is not fair you are right. i do not understand how they can say it will take 5 months and it is almost 5 months now for march filers. also, on the website if you look at there chart it says that they have completeions for march and april and almost done with them all. it is a bad and misleading chart. or maybe i don't understand it. either way it is a bad and misleading chart. They should be approving cases FAST so that they dont go to the 5 month mark that they have setup. However, it doesn't look like they are worrying too much about it. Come on CSC John i agree with you. usually when they are this much behind they will take it home on weekends and you get emails from that or they would approve like crazy. the month of march is taking the longest i have ever seen. last year when they approved my k-1 it took them almost 4 months. right now it is taking so long and it is like they are picking and choosing. now last year i know that when i was waiting for the k-1 to be approved. the people from florida with me were waiting also and we all were approved at the same time. we were around the same timelines also. everyone around us was getting approved but us and then all of a sudden in a matter of days we were all approved. but like i said i have never seen them take so long on one month and they are about to hit the 5 months mark on march filers. now that they raised the fees they should be going faster because i am sure they were waiting on that and like i said their year end is september 30th and they like to stay on time with that. so i would expect them to start approving real fast soon.
