John, i didn't send any proof either. i sent everything else. i also sent a copy of her social security and birth certificates. we had applied for a fiance visa last year. they have everything on us already if they looked it up because she came into country and we were married within 90 days. the problem is i don't have any proof of marriage because my mom had a heart attack in october so we wanted her to be there at the wedding so my wife and i just got married at the county clerk office waiting for my mom to get better. so i don't have proof of anything because my wife had to go back to brazil because of family emergency also. so we had to reapply for the marriage visa. that is why i been so impatient because it is taking so long.

What do you mean indigo? The Noa1? we are waiting on the NOA2. you think it will be slow for now on? well we will never be approved at that p[ace. there are roughly 62 now in march waiting for approvals. if it does ao a week then it will be 5 to 6 weeks to get to april. they need to push it more.

Very Positive!!!! But i would like to see that they are where the k-1's are. the k=-1's are about to begin May and July 1st is tomorrow. We still haven't been able to get past the tenth of the month yet. i am trying to be positive here but this is killing me this long drawn out process. we pay good money for this.

HELP electronic processing confusion

i am confused about this email process. if you choose to opt in then you need to electronically send all your documents in including tax returns for the last three years? also i thought i read the petitioner has to send in his marriage certificates for all his marriages? is this correct? why would that be? she needs to ahve original birth certificate that is stamped also?she needs to take oriinals of everything to interview also? i can't give my original birth certificate to her.

well how come the work visas aren't affecting the k-1 visas. they are approving almost up until april right now. it is thursday and no real approvals for us unless people are holding back on posting the approvals. i figured they would be in march by now and by the end of the month be close to april the way the k-1 visas look.

i do understand the process of taking so long but it seems that all of a sudden we have had a drop off. there hasn't been many approvals this week. i would think if based on the past there would be at least 6-10 approvals a week. which will cut the amounts down tremendously. last year, i would understand they took longer because they didn't have the background checks as fast as now. So let's go here.

I don't mean to complain and i know that things happen but this is ridiculous. they just decided to stop with March? the last three weeks it has completely slowed down. i know we all need to be patient but what i don't understand is they are doing k-1 visas like crazy and they are almost a month from when they were sent in. the k-3, cr1 visa they just decided to stop. what is that all about?

Well she lives in BRazil. it takes two weeks to get the police certificate. She went last year we we went for k-1 visa. She told me i gave her a form to take to the police department but i do not remember a form. so i am asking do we need a form for her to get it or should she just go. we are not approved yet for the noa2.

they are still approving k-1's. i think by june they will pick it up with us. when i came on in april there were only 45 in march and now there are 63. so they will pick it up soon after all these visa's are finished.

well it has died since april 30th. my timeline back then said i should have been approved in june. now it is late july that i will be approved. i know this isn't an exact science but at is a guide at least. i hope they go hot and heavy soon to catch up. it looks to me that they jumped somewhere else in the visa world and left these wait because they are close so i will assume they will fall behind with these and go ahot and heavy on them soon.

Thoughts on this whole process

i agree with a lot of people here but let's face it,that it is a painful process but they are protecting the united states border. but with that said, there should be an easier or at least a way to understand or even teach the process to the people better. i do understand there are businesses out there that want to pay people 10 to 15 thousand dollars to get married to get into the country and this is just wrong. i know in the philipines things like this exist and i am not trying to pick on one country. i just know that this happens there. i know that they do there best to find legit marriages but like what was said before the good marriages shouldn't be condemned for it. there should be a better way to do this and to inform the people of where they are in the process much much much better instead of keeping us in the dark.

the april filer was approved because they were expedited. yes if she changed her address that could be the reason why you were touched. hopefully not and you are the first approval. but mopre than likely it is because of that.

Has anyone emailed or called the CSC and received any kind of respose regarding the delay of i130 Petitions

I was just wondering if anyone received any feedback from CSC regarding their i130 petition for April or any other months? I know this is a long shot here but maybe someone has some insight on what is possibly the delay in approvals. I know we are all in the same boat but maybe someone on here has first hand knowledge of the delay.
