Australia and New ZealandNEW ZEALANDers heading to the US and their USC spouses - POST HERE!
Hey, just been catching up on some recent posts on here. Lots of activity and people completing the long haul. Wow.. great work! Congrats!

Just a question about the Auckland Embassy... I have read in the past that they only require 3 payslips and a letter from the sponsors employer as proof of sufficient income. Is that correct, or do we have to go through the whole back tax thing?
I think this is an NZ specific issue so just querying with NZ members thanks.

guys, i'm DONE!!!!!!!!!

sent off the RFE packet about 10 days ago, got the official letter this past friday congratulating me on a successful removal-of-conditions, got the green card the next day! so damn relieved to be done with this.

my new GC photo is HILARIOUS, though: it's black and white, really shadowy, i look like spy! which is actually a vast improvement on my last one, in which i looked like a hillbilly serial killer.

Wow ... I can't imagine how it must feel to have got through the entire process. Congratulations (guess you wont know what to do with all that spare time, haha) I guess it will be like when school exams are over and you keep wondering what's missing.

Hi Mixx, Cdneh and Kiwiana and again to Jamie & Jamie. Cdneh and Kiwiana, I've read a lot of your posts and the process seems so long that we certainly didn't need the snags we have already come across to slow us down. Not just visa related but those little gems that life throws in just to keep you occupied. Hopefully we are getting around them and our second attempt at a petition will be on its way before too long.

Just wanted to drop by to say hi to all the kiwis and kiwi lovers haha :) I'm Jamie (female) from CA and I'm engaged to my kiwi Jamie (male). Would love to chat with any of you about the process down in Auckland (any advice etc). Seems to be a pretty good place to interview from what Ive heard so far, so Im hopeful everything will go well. Anyway glad to see some NZers on here!

Hi Jamie,

Haven't got that far myself but I have only heard good things about interviewing for K1 in Auckland. Seems to be a pretty simple process and if you follow the K1 Guide your Kiwi Jamie will be more than prepared for their requirements. Best of luck to you both. (F)

USCIS Service CentersVermont service center

thanks for the reply guys. That's horrible though :( Feb. 27th and you still haven't heard back??? I wish you the best of luck as well.
What I am confused about though is that I've seen others from March in vermont receive there NOA2. I am still a bit confused on how all this works!!
I really hope they start speeding things up a bit. Cuz this waiting period is just ridiculous! Good luck to all of you. My prayers are with you all.

... don't worry so is VSC it seems

USCIS Service CentersEmailed the president...

Simply put... because we all pay the same fee, we should all get the same degree of service.

To sit and wait patiently or otherwise is one thing - but we all go through this stressful process, we all pay the same fees - there should be some consistency in the timeframe. It needs fixing.

Best wishes to you all for a happy outcome ... (F)

CaribbeanHow long does it take to recieve Airbill Number for Approved Visa
By tomorrow evening your CEAC status should say visa issued... then two business days after you should receive your waybill # which would be Monday. And if its being delivered to Montego Bay it would be about Tuesday. Then that same day its usually available for pickup. But because the waybill email is sent out late you will more than likely picking it up the next day. So i would say Wednesday or Thursday u should be expecting your visa! Btw...congratz!!!
