National Visa Center (Dept of State)	NEW AOS I-864 FORM?!	i called twice yesterday. the first person i talked to said, u can send the old form and they will review it. the second person that i talked said that they are no longer accepting old forms. so i guess we just have to wait. i know its frustrating.    You can send the old version. I'd say send in the old version while you can, you only have till the 22nd of June, so that nothing slows down your process because who knows when they will be reviewing the new forms. How long do you have to wait for interview where you are after after case complete? Yes same here. I was hoping to get case complete by the end of June or beginning of July to get August interview. Didn't exactly foresee them putting out a new form that they can't even friggin process!! So frustrating. Had my heart set on July interview aswell Good luck everyone - hope it doesn't take them til the end of June to start processing the new forms. They'll get such a horrible backup. I know me too! I was hoping for August interview! I swear its like these people don't think! Who in the world puts out a new AOS form without training the people at NVC to review them?! Its like they do everything backwards! Its called comnon sense people! Nope, i wont matter, because even though if you send the old form and gets reviewed, they will still have the new form in their sistem, so , until they dont review the new form they will have you on hold anyways. What if they invoice me the AOS bill, do you think I should send the old AOS form(obviously if its before June 22nd)? Will that make my process faster or should I say normal? They've had mine since April 29 and nothing.  I sent in my step-son's AOS again with the old form.  What a waste of an entire month!!  Frikkin idiots! They put the new form on the site for us to use and they don't even know how to review it??   Typical incompetent Govt.!!     I know tell me about it! Just when I thought that my process was going to be fast during the NVC stage they changed the AOS I-864 form (which I already knew about for awhile but wasn't worried about my processing time)! But I didn't know the officers at NVC didn't know how to review them which means it could take longer for them to invoice the AOS bill and review my AOS packet! US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2013 Filers	My Oath Letter was sent and i was schedule for oath today.   Oath Ceremony On March 18, 2014, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. Naturalization Applicants: you will receive your certificate at your oath ceremony. You can expect to be scheduled for an oath ceremony within 45 days of receiving your recommended approval. Many offices schedule approved applicants for the oath ceremony on the same day as the day of the interview. Please check the local office profile page on our website to determine if the office where you will be interviewed schedules same day oath ceremonies. I realize that's almost twice as much as a month and a half, but it goes by quickly nonetheless, and it's far less than some people have been waiting (and under the average if I'm not mistaken)! US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2013 Filers	I have just been through the N-400 process my qualifying date was 12/2/2013. My appointment was 1/8/2014 and received my Citizenship certificate on 1/15/2014.    I sent 3 years tax records, I did not send any credit card or loan paper work, So you became a citizen in one and half month? your eligibility was 12-02-14? US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2013 Filers	So i was place in line for interview today, my 5 years anniversary is the 7th of march so one month before i was place in this is what the notice uscis.com said and i did get and email fyi for others.  On February 7, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 90 days of the date above, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2013 Filers	Finally got my yellow letter to bring additional docs(ONLY DRIVERS LICENSE)  to my interview (applied based on 5yrs).. Been looking everyday for it cause it seems like the majority of the people get a yellow letter shortly before an interview letter!!! Did they place/update your status to in line for interview?   Because i receive a yellow letter to asking to take my drivers license i file base on 5yrs rule too, but i though they send the yellow letter after they place us in line just before the actual interview date is given to us.    Did they place/update your status to in line for interview?   Because i receive a yellow letter to asking to take my drivers license i file base on 5yrs rule too, but i though they send the yellow letter after they place us in line just before the actual interview date is given to us. US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2013 Filers	What you got was not the actual interview letter. Call it a pre interview letter. It is only meant to prepare you for the actual interview letter. The actual interview letter carries the date and time and you should also be notified through the online platform provided you signed up for it. What you have now is the much talked about "Yellow letter". Be at peace because the actual letter will soon be in the mail. Smile !   @ romnick thank you but i though they only send the yellow letter after they update the status to say that we are in line just before we get the interview notice?
