US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2013 Filers	Regarding your statement about the early walkin, you are correct. But depending on how busy they are, they could tell you know. The one near us is never busy and is for Military only so we had no issues last time and i do not forsee any when we do it again. Most of the people that i have read of doing early walkins weighed the risk with the distance they will have to drive. Also some of the offices will require a good reason why you are doing an early walkin. But everyone that has done one did so after they recieved their appointment letter. You cant do it any sooner than recieving that noa.    Okay, that's what i thought but the local Uscis office is across the street from my house anyway, what do you think about not receiving notification from them yet and it 72 hours? even though i know they could take up to a week i just want to know that my package is okay. US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2013 Filers	Hi to every member on the journey, i'm filing base on been a LPR for 5 year, i will be sending my package to lewisville, TX. i'm also doing early filing, ninety(90) calendar days before my 5 years anniversary under section 319(a) and 316(a) of the INA.I'm still waiting for my text, email, are for USCIS to cash my check they have receive my package and singed for it from Monday Dec 9th 13.   My package contained: G-1145 Singed and Complete N-400 Copy of Green card back and front two passport photo check of $680   Eligibility              12-07-13 Send N-400         12-06-13 N-400 received    12-09-13    Question  1. I notice some members stating that they do early Bio-metric walk-ins can someone please explain how that works even thou i'm not at that stage yet?    My guess is:                  - I'm thinking that when you receive your bio-metric letter with a date it's no big deal if you ignore date on your letter and just walk-in a earlier day for your bio-metric. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2012 I-130 Filers	Question guys i have file form I-130 only, USCIS received my I130 on December 24th my husband is stil a resident but he is a month away from becoming a US citizen, on the uscis wedsite my status just change to post decision activity and reads  On February 11, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.   So i guest they will send it to the Department of State, is this where they schedule the interviews? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	MY K3 Experience!	My k3 petition made it all the way to the embassy in Kingston Jamaica. And my husband's interview was on the 7th of February 2014. When we reached the embassy they said an interview could not take place because our ir1/cr1 reached NVC already. They told him to leave all his documents with them and they will notify him when they sort it out. We thought it would be another couple months wait but little did we know that that same day they requested NVC expedite the ir1/cr1 case from NVC to the US Embassy in Jamaica! I found out by calling NVC. Then i tracked it through DHL. Nd it reached jamaica Tuesday February 11th!!! I emailed the embassy to ask if we can get another interview since they already have most of the documents nd they called his phone the same day and scheduled us for our ir1 /cr1 interview next week February 20th!!! Plus they said i only have to pay $230 for the visa and not the $88 affidavit of support procesing fee since its not being processed domestically (in the US)! I am soooo happy! I thought my k visa slowed down our ir1/cr1 but it actually boosted it! Also im happy we r getting this visa as he will be an LPR immediately and can work as soon as he gets to the states. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Visa Issued 2 Days After Interview!!!	So happy right now!!! well my husbands ir1/cr1 interview was last week Thursday February 20th 2014. I was so nervous but happy at the outcome of the interview. He was approved! When i checked CEAC website Thursday & Friday it was saying Ready...Now I checked CEAC website and it changed this morning from Ready to Administrative Processing then couple minutes ago i checked again and it changed to Issued!!! That means by Friday DHL will have it ready for us to pick up...or maybe earlier who knows. So happy. Worried about administrative processing for nothing! Everything is moving extremely fast! CR1?s	That triangular cutout is normal,  as they usually are; just dont open anywhere else.  It does not matter that your visa says CR1, what matters is the time you make your POE into the US.  Obviously its going to be after your 2-year anniversary.  Just make sure to point out to the immigration officer there that you are now beyond your 2 year anniversary, and they will make the necessary adjustments to make sure you get your 10-yr GC.   Remember you will be required to pay the $165 fee to have your green card processed.  You are encouraged to pay this fee before you go even though it can be done getting the US.  Just remember that the card will not be processed until payments are made.   Congratulations! Now you answered it all!!! Thank you! We're gona pay the $165 right now online. Thank u so much!!! Im so happy i dont have to pay $590 for an I 751 form. Thank God!!! CR1?s	Remove condition is for those living in the US, if he arrives here after the 2 year anniversary he will get the permanent green card, make sure he mentions at the POE that he got married two  years ago. CR1?s	Well my husband & i went for his passport with visa inside and the immigrant package to give DOHS at the airport POE. But when we opened the DHL packet, inside was the passpost and a big packet of papers. But whats so strange is the top left side had been cut out in a triangular shape so i could see all the papers inside...im wondering if this is normal because i know on USCIS.gov that they say specifically dont open the packet or else a fee will be charged at the airport! But in my case its somewhat opened already! What should i do? Also they issued the visa 2 days before our 2 year anniversary. And it ended up being a CR1 visa. But i was reading online and it says i have to file to remove conditional residence 90 days prior to our 2 year anniversary or they can have the green card revoked!!!! How can i do that when he hasnt even reached in the US yet (we are goin next week) and our visa was only issued two days before our 2 year mark??? USCIS Service Centers	CSC file damage is true	one would think the lockbox for all petitions would have scanned everything into gov/uscis computers before sending the the different centers then again as i recall the embassy's receive the petitions via email before receiving the hard copies So does the complete original petition always end up being sent to the overseas embassy? I understand exactly how you are feeling about this right now, its pretty rough .... wait till you know more - you can only guess at the reasons until you know for sure, maybe the time frame after the divorce but maybe not. An appeal takes longer and is more expensive so if you do have to supply more information you are better to restart with a new petition than try to appeal. Ok.. I think an appeal is probably going to be a lengthy process and no guarantees that the result will be any different. Whatever their reasoning, it will be difficult to change in view of what happened at the embassy. Ours went to NBC(MSC) as well..We gathered ideas from fellow VJers if our paperwork had been forwarded to my husband's local office,but were informed not necessarily so. Another thing, we checked the USCIS page if Hawaii process I-130 and we didn't find any. Guess, all we need to do right now is wait, hope and pray... Boy&Bell How exciting!! We have the same priority date!! I feel like you're on the same journey as me, well kinda lol!!
