Better get that medical done pronto if the interview is in less than 2 weeks!!   Hi Saylin!    I was wondering if you know if it is ok to send AOS packet even though payment portal still shows "in process"? I had called NVC twice today, the first operator told me that it wasn't even showing that it was "pending" and to check with my bank to see if they deducted the amount from my account. So I did and they did deduct the amount from my bank account, so I called again and I told the operator that NVC did deduct the amount but wasn't showing "paid" and she told me the samething the first operator that it wasn't showing that it was "pending" but to go ahead ahead and send the packet anyway. I'm afraid that something might go wrong and I have sent the AOS packet overnight express mail because I want to make sure it gets there this week so they can review it before the expired old AOS date. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2013	Hey guys just called NVC and get my case number and IIN. i have a question should we just go ahead and email the ds3032 choice of agent now or wait for instructions form NVC . Thanks I would send it right away and wait a week if no responce then resend it but with supervisor review. That's what I did! Worked out well for me, NVC accepted it the next day. Hope I helped! I'd highly suggest calling up NVC first thing Monday morning and inquire. Hopefully it's just an error... Why would you put that on your FAQs and say it was a good thing if its not? I read in the FAQ section that this could be an invoicing message under "Help! I can't sign into the payment portal. According to Saylin if I get this on the payment portal "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information" its a great thing! Supposedly NVC is getting ready to invoice me the AOS bill! I just can't wait till this journey is over! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Interviews	How did you pay the last fee via ELIS if you haven't received your visa yet...or have you?  How long did it take for you to get your passport back?  Did you get an email telling you it was ready to be picked up? I guess it didn't matter because we have been approved for the visa and the lady who interviewed my husband told him that we had to pay it before he goes to the US. And we paid it online. Well our interview was the 19th and we got it today the 25th, so it took 6 days. Well first of all after they approved us the lady gave us some paperwork for DHL. The paperwork said that we had to go online to www.usvisa-info.com and create an accounthere and put in my husband's info and right there we had to choose a DHL office where we'd like to pick up our passport, also the DHL paperwork that they gave us at the embassy said that we would receive an email with the DHL office that we have chosen and the tracking number and we didn't get that email till yesterday, and we tracked our package till today and we called the DHL office to make sure our package got there today and it dis, so we picked it up and now we have the visa!! So I will be returning to the states with my husband but once we arrive to the airport but before we go through immigration they always have two lines, one line is for US citizens and residents and the other is for tourist and visa holders. So my question is can I go with my husband to the tourist/visa holder line or do we have to part ways when we go through immigration? Or can he come with me to the US citizen line? Checked my bank account today and looks like my check was cashed on 12/13/2013. US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 December 2013 Filers	Regarding your statement about the early walkin, you are correct. But depending on how busy they are, they could tell you know. The one near us is never busy and is for Military only so we had no issues last time and i do not forsee any when we do it again. Most of the people that i have read of doing early walkins weighed the risk with the distance they will have to drive. Also some of the offices will require a good reason why you are doing an early walkin. But everyone that has done one did so after they recieved their appointment letter. You cant do it any sooner than recieving that noa.    Okay, that's what i thought but the local Uscis office is across the street from my house anyway, what do you think about not receiving notification from them yet and it 72 hours? even though i know they could take up to a week i just want to know that my package is okay.
