K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Interview Today - APPROVED!	Today has been a long, tiresome, anxious, stress filled and eventually a wonderful and teary day. After a light grilling at the interview over my arrests, the CO was happy that I am a good person and APPROVED my visa! I got home to be greeted by an uncle and aunt who took me out to dinner for a nice celebratory evening My uncle also presented me with my grandmothers wedding ring. She had told him before she passed away that I was to have it when the time was right and I had a real man and a real future ~Sarah All in all, a wonderful conclusion ! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2 in mail without approval notification	Thank God USCIS sent me the NOA2 without any approval notification. NOA2 was approved a week ago while I was anxiously looking for it, but it was in mail for the last 3 days while I was waiting for email or txt notification from USCIS. That don't even update my online case status whereas the petition was approved a week ago. Good Luck for the rest of you and best wish for the coming process. Congratulations!! I check the website every-single-day, just to see if the status moved or what-not. It is fustrating, but oh well. I would like to know is, how much time does it take for USCIS to say "This person will be hit with a RFE"? I want to know if by now, im in the safe zone... Many people check the case status all the time but truth is, its just not reliable (doesn't stop people from checking it though). It is possible that your case was moved from one pile to another, which would make it a touch but no one actually opened it. Just get ready for a wait. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	thanks NOA2 after seeking expedite for K2 aged out	thank you very much..we just called the NVC for a follow up of the Manila case number so we could start our medical and interview in Manila. So we told them of our situation, the agent told my fiance that if she gets 21 before interview, i could personally make an appeal at the USEm in Manila for reconsideration . Do you think i will have a chance of getting here over to the US even if she's already 21 when i make that appeal? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	the time is dragging	Do you think there is a difference if you apply for K1 with a lawyer or without a lawyer? except the fact that the lawyer charges great amount of money No ... in fact there have been several cases on VJ where the lawyer has made mistakes but they don't refund any money. It is a stressful process - all you can do is get busy with other things and hope the time will at least feel as though it is going faster... Best of luck with your journey.
