US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Changing Embassies	Hey guys, Another problem just came my way. I tried finding a similar situation through search but nothing really matched my problem. When we sent in the package to USCIS, we wrote the adress from the Bulgarian Consulate in Sofia. Since it was February, I thought we might make it since I'm currently studying in Bulgaria and graduating in May. My right to stay in Bulgaria is only until May 30th though so I need to change the consulate to the Romanian one in Bucharest even though I received Package 3 yesterday. Anyone went through that? Any advice could be helpful Thanks much Elena PS: When our petition reached the NVC we DID give them a new adress (in Moldova) and were pretty much ignored Update everybody that will be dealing with the same problem and is going to try finding it in Search! I called the Bulgarian Consulate today and they told me that in order to change embassy the new one (in my case Romanian), has to send the Bulgarian Embassy a written request for the paperwork to be transfered. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Important Question! SOS!	Hey guys. The situation is this. I was studying in Bulgaria for 4 years so I got a Police Certificate from there on February 7th. It will expire on August 7th. Due to this 2 years home residence requirement I will have an interview sometimes in October probably but I left Bulgaria in May when the certificate was still valid and never went back. Do you guys think that it will be a problem if i'm gonna show them the one I have or do I have to get a new one just so it would be valid on the interview itself? Thank you. I will appreciate any answer Lenka, if i am not mistaking the P.C. should be valid for 1 year. Why is yours valid only for 6 months? It really depends on the country. I m the beneficiary myself and I wish everyone was like me in the sense of God forbid making the cosponsor pay.... Mikey has his parents as co-sponsors and I had the cosponsored I-134 for about a month in my documents now...It never even came to my mind to use them of something is not gonna work.. Are people really profiting from this? US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	am i a freak?	Oh man! I cant stand it! I have my interview on October 2nd. I am worried as hell...I am worried worried worried worried. Mikey has sent me the: 1) I-134 -his 2) I-134 -parents as co-sponsors 3) he is also obtaining letters from the employers 4) bank statement 5) notarised copy of the tax return from the previous year. I think for him AND his parents 6) I have my police certificate 7) birth certificate translated and legalized 8) I dont have any court, prison thingies...nor do have i been married before 9) I have a couple of phone bills showing that i've called Maine 10)I told him to print out the report of him buying phone cards the whole summer 11) what else? I sent him a post card. Told him to bring it with him when he's coming 12) I have a customs paper showing that he's sent me a compact disc and documents this summer. I also have the envelope with the stamp. 13) I will have him at the interview. It's allowed in Bucharest for your fiance to be with you from what i read here. If not, I will have his plain tickets from 1 day before the interview ( he's arriving on the 1st of October and the interview is on 2nd) 14) I will have my medical on the first as well. They are giving the results the same day. 15) I have the original package 16) i am going to take passport photos today or tommorow AM I MISSING SOMETHING? It's not supposed to make sense! hahaha yeah...that's what my baby says He says it's only the beginning of me experiencing the govmnt work I still need to get a driver's license when I get there...arrggghhh ))))) I do not know where you will be getting your driver's license. But I swear I live in the "Valley of Fools" when it comes to drivers! These dummies think they're the only people on the road! They'll come to a dead stop to look at a cow! And there are a lot of cows in my area too! I'm am now teaching my 16 year old to drive. I'll be honest and tell you that she scares the sh!t of me sometimes when she's behind the wheel! hehehe She'll do just fine. Just make sure she understands that payng attention is the most important thing (since there are a lot crazy ppl around) and that speed is not COOL Other than that...it's much better when they learn young.. I just learnt to drive a stick and i hate it to the very bottom of my heart. USCIS Service Centers	I'm a true pessimist	I buried them with a ton of evidence of meeting. I preferred to give them a lot to prevent saying there was not enough. I guess it's all going to depend on who you get to handle your case. Elena, you don't have your flight itineraries? Looking at what you did submit, you're probably going to be fine. I, on the other hand, did not pay attention to the numbered pages of both of mine and Karolina's G-325A's. I expect something is going to be said. But there's new signed G-325A's coming from her now as we speak. I got lucky that her friend's love interest is returning from Odessa with them to send to me. I'll be prepared if they asked. And yes! I did create many variations of the same G-325A's with her signature since we have a case number. I asked her to include blank ones with her signatures. We know we'll be together soon enough. We're both patient. Still I believe you will get your visa before us because you're going through VSC! I have an electronic flight itinerary. Would that work? I hope everything will be ok in my case. I did overstay my stay every year by 1/2 month 1 month...but that was legal and i dont know if it'll cause problems or not...what bothers me, is my case not even being touched since February 22nd...keeping in mind that it's VSC u know? I hope everything will be ok with ur petition as well..man these procedures are confusing...why cant they just give normal numbers to the forms beginning with 1 and finishing with whatever? there have to be 300040a....700054F....202020I and all that...why are they torturing people like that? USCIS Service Centers	I'm a true pessimist	If they have already received your forms, and required document then the only suggestion is to wait it out. Pictures, phone records, and residential are enough evidence. Sometimes if you give them too much evidence, it would raise a red flag to the official. USCIS Service Centers	I'm a true pessimist	Ok well...since it takes forever for VSC to even "touch" my case (not talking about an approval) I'm pessimistically expecting an RFE ...brrrrrr....anyways...I know i do have my birth certificate copy translated and legalized and I was just wondering...what else can i send in as a proof we met? I mean ok..I have 3 j-1 visas in my passport, i also have w-2 forms from this summer and from last summer....from last summer i have his adress posted as my home adress (since we lived together)...i also have a DS-2019 form which accompanies my J-1 visa where my employment adress is in his town. I have payckeck slips specifying my adress (which is his also). I dont really know what else to send in? If his Police certificate comes clean, the case for the visa is clean. He just has to shut up about it and mind his own business If he has a conviction that will show up on his police certificate.
