Canadavaccination record for K1 visa
QUOTE (Kathryn41 @ Dec 6 2007, 02:33 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
If your doctor has a record of when you received each of your various vaccinations, he can certainly write a letter stating the type of vaccination and the date you received it. Take that to your medical appointment with the panel physician and he/she can prepare the vaccination worksheet from your documentation. When you arrive in the States you will need to have the same information transferred to the vaccination supplement form by a civil surgeon. I used records from school, from my family doctor and from the health unit to show I had all of the required vaccinations.

Exactly

Canadavaccination record for K1 visa
QUOTE (Stacey33 @ Dec 6 2007, 02:03 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
If you cannot get your immunization records from your local Health unit, the Doctor can send you to the Lab for a Titres test- a simple blood test. They will test for what you have immunity to.

In Canada- (between the ages of 16 and 65 I believe) you will need MMR, Tetanus/diphtheria, and the Doctor (and also the Civil Surgeon in the US will accept oral testimony if you have had chicken pox.

QUOTE (YuAndDan @ Dec 5 2007, 06:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
No vaccinations needed for K-Visas the K-Visa is a NON-Immigrant visa.

You need the vaccination record later transfered to a supplement by a US Civil Surgeon for adjustment of status.

For most people between age 18 and 65 immigrating they are:
  • Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR)
  • Tetanus and diptheria toxoids
  • Varicella
http://www.visajourn...h...ost&id=5443

You will get them transfered to a supplement by a Civil Surgeon in the USA for adjustment of status.

I had to have all my vaccination records for my medical and I was a K Visa.

I agree. I had to have my vaccination records for the medical examination. Whatever you do not have, they will administer you at the examination (the examination has to be done at one of the hospitals listed by the embassy in one of the Packages. They know what to do)
After the examination in your home country you will be given a copy of the vaccination form. You go with that to the civil surgeon who will transfer them vaccines to the I-693A (I think that's the form)

CanadaVaccination paperwork?
QUOTE (slamber2578 @ Dec 10 2007, 04:34 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
my initial question was just in regards to the vaccinations anyways. i didnt mention anything about the medical exam. So i guess im good to go in regards to my vaccination question, huh? I'll call the family doc tomorrow

if you go for vaccinations to ur family doctor it's cool...but you will have another vaccination supplement filled out by the panel physician WHEN you're going to go for the medical examination! You will have to bring any records of vaccination from your doctor to your medical appointment. You will NOT, however be able to replace the form needed by the embassy with the one from your family doctor. If those people that will be performing the medical examination will decide you need any other vaccines they are going to give them to you anyways...
AUBGERFemaleMoldova2007-12-09 22:40:00

the vaccinations can be done anywhere but aren't the panel physicians the ones that have to fill out the paperwork for the Visa?

I get really disgusted with these people that use others for the sole purpose of a green card. It makes it harder for the rest of us that just want to marry and live with our loved one.

I feel the same. It places a stamp on us...the ones that really do love....

QUOTE (Sprailenes @ Jan 6 2008, 03:51 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
If you told her would she even listen?

She probably would. Many people were telling my hubby that I might be using him for a Green Card and you know what? I don't blame them because there are so many dishonest people out there trying to commit visa fraud. It took us 3 years of long distance relationship and going back and forth for visits to actually get married.
I know a very sad story about a person that used another one. It happened in California. A girl came to the US as an exchange student and fooled a really good hearted guy into marrying her. After they got married, she bruised herself and claimed that he's abusing her (although everyone who knows him claims he never even hurt a fly in his life). The state of CA ruled in her favor and the poor kid went to JAIL! She destroyed his life and just continued with the Green Card....I wish someone put some brains into him before he did that.

PS: I agree with the opinion that later on he might just use your name as an excuse.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionHave 10 year Card after RFE No interview
QUOTE (spmalone @ Dec 12 2007, 02:31 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I thought I would offer some hope for those still waiting. We sent the I-751 in July had a very quick Biometrics than nothing. We got the RFE in Sept and we were scared! My K2 had problems which all worked out but my wife felt we were going down that same path. We added several affidavits and some extra pictures, and repeat of the other information already sent. I sent in tax receipts, Kim is not on the mortgage I bought the house before, same with the other things that goes with buying a house together just me since I had the house before Kim and I married. I did send a cover letter with a short story about Kim and I. I had the heath insurance, car insurance, 401K, two used car titles in both names, and some bank information. I felt it was more than enough to show Kim and I as a real couple. We sent it to NSC but we were part of the CSC group. Our file was never touched until today. Kim called me at work crying, it took me some time to understand it was from happiness. More info later, we are going out.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionfilling taxes jointly or separately
It is not a requirement at all. You can choose the way you're filing you taxes according to your needs. If it saves you more money when you file jointly do that. If separately, do that instead.
Typically, you're saving money on taxes by filing jointly. However, in certain instances, you can save money by filing separately. The last case mostly happen when there is a big difference in income levels. That way when you're adding up the returns, you'll be taxed at a lower tax bracket.
You can also save money by filing separately when someone has a large medical expense for that year. That way, when applied towards that person's income you can have a bigger tax deduction than when applied towards the common income.
I would recommend a book called "taxes 2008 for dummies". It is wicked cheap and clear ...very clear and you can find it pretty much in any bookstore.
I am intern doing taxes at the moment. Trust me...filing jointly is not a requirement...but it's most of the times tax saving.

and the USC sponsor (I assume your spouse is your sponsor) needs to file an I-865 change of address as well....

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionAddress Change and Removal of Conditions

Just update your address with the AR-11 as mentioned above - it is the law, so that could be an issue, but as long as you file - you should be ok.

Oh wow. I just read the bottom of the AR-11 thing. Looks like I should have filed within 10 days of change. Boy, I hope I'm not going to get in trouble.
Thank you

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionAddress Change and Removal of Conditions

I was in a very similar situation. I filed AR-11 (Change of Address) form online and submitted by I-751 using my new address. I received my NOA1 at my new address. I think these steps should be sufficient.

Oh thank you so much for such a prompt reply! If they sent your NOA1 to the new address, it looks like that should be enough. I appreciate your taking your time to answer my question.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionAddress Change and Removal of Conditions
Hi Guys,

I have a question that is probably pretty simple for some of you. I honestly don't know the answer to this one.
I received my 2-yr GC in April 2008 and I just recently received a reminder to remove conditions.
In March 2009 I bought a house and moved. Was I supposed to notify USCIS of my change? My old address is for an appartment that my in-laws own. I still get the mail but I wasn't sure if when I file with a new address I will get in trouble for not notifying about my wherabouts between March and now?
Should that be a concern at all?
Thank you so much for your help!
