Age doesn't matter when it comes to love. One should not be ashamed if she/ he has fallen in love to a younger one.

With regards to the problem that you're facing, I guess you are the only person who can solve it. With your wisdom and experience , you will be able to come up with a sound decision . If you think YOUR WOMAN LOVES YOU. Then go for it. It's your life. If you realized you made a mistake at the end, then nurse your broken heart and soul silently.

You were asking if it is ok to take back the money you gave her. My question is what was the purpose of giving her the money. Was it for payment for sex? a gift? a bribe? If it is a gift, then it should not be taken back unless the woman return it. If it is payment for sex, then it should be taken back , coz there was no sex happen.

If the woman was angry because you have not bought the dress for her, I guess she is a very shallow person. She must understand that money is hard to find and it is impratical to buy such an expensive dress. Unless it is her wedding gown.

For everyone that said i already had my mind made up, you will be glad to know that today i emailed my Fiancee' and told her the relationship had ended. For the selfish ones who were angry because we were ahead of you for a K-1 Visa, I HOPE YOUR MARRIAGE GOES TO HELL!!! And for the few who tried to make a "dirty" post out of a plea for help, YOU CAN KISS MY A__!!!! For the rest of you who offered sympathy and good advice, I THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Needless to say, i met some very nice people on this site and some real JERKS!!!

Smart decission. Respect. I'm sorry i saw the update after I posted...I know how hard must be for you right now to get over this relationship. Trust me though. There are so many more people that would fall in love. You said 61...it is still an age when you could find someone...It doesnt matter what age difference but be aware...if u find someone that is just trying to manipulate you, run for ur life or the relationship will become hell. Reading the post in some topics, i decided to ask for help. I met my Fiancee 6 months ago on the internet. She was wanting badly to come to the USA. I was very lonely and looking for romance and companionship but i am 62, she 41. With that said, i met her in Russia for 4 days in 11/06. We hit it off. I met her again in 02/07. We talked, i gave her $1,000 in cash for expenses. She later asked some questionable questions & said she wanted a marriage agreement. I went to bed, she slept on sofa. I am laying in bed thinking this is our 1st sex & because i am a diabetic & don't perform very good, she is unhappy, plus i didn't buy her a $1,200 dress she wanted so she is unhappy, plus i am a diabetic, etc. I decided i should ask for the $1,000 back until i was more sure about her. So i got out of bed & got my money back. The next morning she left 2 days early so i asked for my ring back but she wouldn't give it. When i got home, i emailed & apologized, she accepted, but has been very cool since. Currently, i am needing a copy of her divorce papers for RFE1 but she hasn't faxed a copy to me in 3 days. In your opinions, was i wrong for asking for my money back when she wouldn't come to bed? Should i continue to try to make this work when i am wondering if she cares?

Ok man...She's fooling u! cmon now...I'm a Eastern European woman that is marrying an American guy because fate brought us together and because I would honestly die for him. I asked him not to buy me an engagement ring and pay for the lawyer instead so we would both be able to be toghether sooner and I scolded him for buying a $500 (i mean not $1,000 not $15,000) wedding band. The conditions in Russia are not perfect...as much as Moldova, Ukraine and all those post-soviet countries....and many people DO use american citizens because they are american citizens not because they care...Now because of people such as ur fiance, people like me are being automatically critisized for having false intentions....I am very sorry. I know that every person needs someone else to complete him/her...but in ur case u better run away as far as possible.

45 days delay, because of wrong spelling?

Hey guys,

I am pisssssssssssssssed again!!!!

I thought me and my fiance would get our NOA2 by this week.

Yesterday he called them to get his name straight, from Yohn back to John.

This woman on the phone (not sitting at CSC) tells him, that she fills out a service ticket and that it can take up to 45 days to fix it!!!!

Are they kidding me???? 45 days?!?!?!

####### takes so damn long??? They can't just take it and put it in the computer???

man I am soooooooo frustrated and pissed, that I really have no words for that!!

If anyone ever had the same experience I would love to know, how long it took for you!!!

You have got to be kidding?!! Ebonics was actually taught in a school? Be glad that so-called "language" didn't stick with you! Obviously, you're educated enough to know "Ebonics" is just a poor excuse to not speak English properly and the pronouciation to combine 1,2, or 3 English words together. There were people here who actually tried to persuade the US government to provide money to have this taught in the schools. Fortunately, it did not succeed! Thank God!

Clarification, people were not trying to teach children to speak ebonics in schools, they were seeking funding for programs that allowed students to learn content areas such as science or math while speaking in their local dialect without the added frustration of essentially learning standard english as a second language. The theory was that those students were lagging behind because all their instruction first had to be translated and that teachers spent too much time correcting their grammar and not the equations they should have been working on. Ebonics in public schools would have allowed local teachers to speak in a local dialect while teaching certain subjects and then to use Standard English during English class. This way children would not miss out on content but would also learn the standard english needed to succeed in the public world.
I see it a bit different than most because I did study about Ebonics in college. That was called linguistics class.

Cool!!! Nah we didnt have a class for that in high school. Since I was in Georgia, however, I lived in a black family (i already mentioned that somewhere) and I studied and was friends woth a bunch of black people. I loved to listen to it but I was not understanding anything

))) My host parents had such a kick out of it...I mean they spoke regular English but when i was coming to school trying to speak Ebonics they found it sort of...well....hilarious seeing a moldovan white girl (while in the process of learning basic english to begin with) pronouncing words with a black accent

I kinda know what it means though. While under the soviet union, Romanian language we spoke on the Moldovan territory got so mixed with russian ( mandatory back then) that right now we speak a very weird russified romanian. It's not thought in schools...but there is no way we can get rid of it

I know I did... here is what you should do, post all your K-1 related issues in K-1 Forum, then Consulate forum after you get your NOA2. Some of the forum is very specific to the people in each region, like some of them here are from southeast asia and AU. I'm a little bit confused, are you the poster is a beneficiary? Your husband/wife is USC?

If you're here already, why would you want to file for K-1? Why don't you go for the AOS after marriage? Sorry for the confusion if there is any...

We filed for K-1 because I'm finishing up college in Bulgaria. Being a Moldovan citizen I have a Bulgarian visa that's expiring on May 30th. My hubby is a USC yes. He's a Maine resident so we filed at VCS...So no, I'm not in the US right now though i've been there for 4 times so far...The problem i'm having is the uncertainty of leaving the processing of the documents to Bulgarian or Romanian Consulate since I've no clue when i'm gonna receive my NOA2 so there :'(

OP, if you are married already, the K-1 is not the correct visa! Hopefully, you are just using "hubby" as a term of affection (a habit I suggest you get out of before speaking with ANY official involved in this process).

Where in SE asia is Bulgaria?

I would ask this question is some other region of the forum.
It's in Eastern Europe..I dont understand how these forums work. I give my posts a name and they are weirdly associated with different totally irrelevant forums. Might sound a little retarded but I serioudly dont know how forums work. I was never a member of anything before and this is the first time i'm using them.
