K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWill tourist visa be denied if consular new about K1 process?

It's probably easier to travel while fiance visa petition is pendind if you had your tourist visa issued before you applied for K1.

Since this is not what is happening right now I can't speculate on that.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/420585-tourist-visa-denied-while-k1-visa-pending/

This is actually why I asked. Because I also see a lot of successful stories in "Yes you can visit" topic. That is why I'm asking, to get things clear.

Topic title says it all. We are trying to get my fiancee a tourist visa while waiting for K1 approval. I assumed it would be beneficial for them to know that we are doing things the right way and don't want to commit any immigration fraud. So, what are our chances? Has someone gotten tourist visa with letting CO know about K1?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresBiggest Age Difference

Wow and I thought 12 years difference was a lot before I met my Fiance in person ;) It turned out we get along so well it doesn't matter at all.
So I understand finding one's soul mate in a person that's far away from our own age, but on the other hand... don't you folks fear the future a little? (the question is for those who are in love with the older person)

8-12 years difference is fine within all standards. Especially when man is older since we age differently. 20+ not so much.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresYes, you can visit!

So here is my successful story. While me and Tania were waiting for K1 we decided to wait together and get her B1/B2. To tell the truth we had very little chance of getting tourist visa since Tania is 24 y.o. and unemployed. Yet we tried. We filled all the necessary forms and applied for interview. Got all documents ready just in case including full copy of our I-129F package. Yet, consular didn't ask for anything, just passports(new and old and that's it). He asked her a few questions about me, she answered absolutely truthfully. Consular said her case is difficult, yet he issued her visa. It is just single entry B1/B2 with 3 months expiration period. He said she doesn't need anything else, because by that time she will get her K1.

JFK POE: I went back to Russia to pick Tania up and we approached immigration officer together. He just started his shift, was very polite, asked us a few questions and stamped I-94 form with 6 months maximum stay. Thank you, officer! The last line of defense was customs/border control officer. We had return ticket for 3 months. When he asked, Tania got it mistaken with 6 months approved stay and told him she is going to stay 6 months(she actually is, we will get her return ticket right when our visa reaches NVC/Embassy in Moscow). So he asked us why we have such a small luggage for such a prolonged stay. I said everything can be purchased here. So he gave us a little hard time but then let us go.

And here we are, waiting for our K1 together. And I would encourage everyone to try and do the same. We had very small chance to get this visa and be admitted to US, but everything worked in our favor!

My fiancee lives in Moldova. I'm curious if she would be able to visit me from Moldova while we are waiting for our NOA2? Has anyone made a visit from Moldova before actually having the K-1 visa?

Moldova should be in the same category as Russia/Ukraine and other former Soviet Union countries.

Would it be beneficial, If I wrote letters to consular(for b1 visa) and immigration officer to assure them we are going legal way so they let my fiancee in?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresYes, you can visit!
Me and my fiance are planning her visit here to the US. She has documents showing that she partially owns apartment in Moscow, car, has a full time job and family ties. We are also going to fully disclose our plans to marry and she will bring NOA1 and other documents to the interview. I want her to stay here with me for 90 days. Has any one been successful in staying for such prolonged period of time? We want to approach it honestly and show consular and immigration officer that we can't risk our future and proceeding legally with applying and waiting for K1. The main reason for her to visit me is to make marriage arrangements.
Thank you.
