Glad to finally see August Filers being approved (update your timelines asap please,it helps all!) !!!!!! Got one question though,CSC has updated their Processing Times finally.Says July 19th,which is a great thing cause that means the backlog is damn near OVER WITH,but my question is do they g by received date or by Noa1 date? I also believe that having to wait to actually be together is a tset for a relationship and I also have to agree that it has made the relationship between James and me a lot stronger. But in our case,and that's why I'm so drained right now- he left Germany August 6th,2005 and we couldn't file for the K1 until October 2007 because his ex for some unknown reason didn't want the divorce until SHE finally had a good reason for it .And they haven't seen each other since Dec 2001..... I don't have family nor friends left here in Germany and this recent slow down at CSC is just very frsutrating at the moment. I wouldn't be AS frsutrated if things were moving (like 20+ approvals a week) but since it went down to 6 a week it gets to me. I AM glad we have been through all of this because it did make us stronger and shows just how much we both care and love each other,but like I said ,right now I'm just exhausted and James isn't feeling any better sitting at our 1700 sqf house all by himself.........Thank God during the week he hardly has ANY time to think or even miss me since he works 60 hours a week but it gets to him right now and hearing him this sad makes me sad....... I actually thought about not even looking at VJ anymore cause everytime I do it just get's more frustrating seeing that CSC is NOT picking up speed and Vermont is approving ppl that have filed after we did.......... I know there's ppl that have waited MUCH longer than James and I did so far (well with the Petition being approved that is) but it seems to really get to me by now that CSC is just NOT doing their job. I mean Christ if it would be moving and we would be moving up the list ok then,but they are much slower than a snail going backwards. By now my poor man is getting really frustrated too,and as usual that gets me even more depressed........... I will pray for them to pick up the speed and give us at least 25 NOA 2's a week from Monday on!!! Let's all start asking the man upstairs for his help! OK now I just had to tell my better half about CSC........He never comes on here to check,so he didn't know yet just HOW slow CSC is at the moment........ He's VERY upset...... I absolutley can't understand why in the world they're not doing their job..... Ya right let's Increase the Fee's ,process the I 129F's at only two Service Centers instead of 5 and make ppl wait to be reunited with their loved ones........ Not hard to tell how fed up I am huh? And I'm even one of the lucky ones cause my embassy in Frankfurt is really fast and at least we wont have to wait several months for an Interview Date,but hey what the heck????? We thought we could get married May 17th...........guess that aint gonna happen..... Does CSC care about their Customers?! Nope,they just want our money!!!!! Unfortunatley it does apply to when you take her into the cabin ,at least on some Airlines.BUT-I just looked up Lufthansa and you may consider flying with them as they DO NOT have an Embargo it seems.Nothing of that sort is mentioned and their pricing is very good too.Just call several Airlines and check it out! I knew it wouldn't be much movement but Gee I had no clue it was THIS slow.......... As far as the Heat Embargo for Pets goes- yes there is a Heat Embargo for Pets from May 15th until Sep 30 each year. But as far as I know almost every Airline lets you take Cats into the Cabin so maybe you should ask.Other than that the Heat Embargo goes for ALL animals flying to a destination were the temperature is above 84 degrees. Alos,even if you fly from a cool place like UK via Amsterdam to let's say Arizona in can not have any more than 84 degrees ANYWHERE you land and have a lay over. There is one solution though and that would be Pet Air.They are specialized in flying Pets all over the world,but very expensive AND your Pet travels without you. Now of course I can't take my Lab into the cabin (our Lab,sorry James!) but at least I know she's ok and on all flights with me. We flew her to Germany with us on United Airlines and Lufthansa and they were great. Oh yeah,I think Liufthansa does not have the Pet Embargo,but I'm not sure.We flew in October so it didn't matter to us.But a friend of mine who flew in August was NOT allowed to take a cat,not even in the cabin. Ya MOX I know where you're coming from.VSC is handing late September Filers their NOA 2's and CSC is slower than a snail going backwards..... I'm so upset right now as we were planning for a May 17th Wedding,which would be excatly 3 years after we met...........My poor man is sitting in our huge house all by himself and we're slowly starting to worry about the Airline Heat Embargo for Pets which starts May 15th.......and lasts until Sep 30. I might have to have my pets fly without me so we can get around the Embargo...... Just very depressing right now........... You're right Jeraly and I'm VERY grateful for that cause I never seem to be able to figure it out on my own.Day before yesterday somebody got approved who was 110 on the list from 12/19,yesterday somebody who was number 50....... God I'm SO ready to go home and be with my man!!!!! I miss him so much and the holidays were pure hell. No family left in Germany,all freinds in the States and a kid that's going crazy cause he wants to go home to Daddy and see his new room at the new house...... This whole process is taking us forever,took us forever to get his divorce (even though they have been seperated long before we met in 12/2001 and we met 5/2005 and they have no kids.The ex was just being such a ++++ on this..). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Mandatory Greek Army!	Hi, Thank you for the reply! Ok, good to know about the NOA2 then four months till the actual visa. He entered the army on February 10th, 2009, so will exit February 10th, 2010. I got the NOA1 the 18th of February, so very close to his entry date. If the whole process takes 8 months, as in "visa in hand" then he'll still have at least 3-4 months left of the army. There's also the thought of him taking an extension of the army, and just coming over here when the visa is processed, then paying off the army when he is 35. I'm just worried that if his ties to Greece are in any way "messy" to say, that the visa for USA will be messed up too...? Thank you for the answer so quickly! In a way, it is sort of nice to have this time to prepare for his arrival. I am doing so many things around the house. Even though I have no idea whatsoever of when he will get here, the anticipation and excitement of knowing that he will BE HERE is so invigorating. As they say, it's not just the destination (HIM HERE WITH ME) but also the journey (ME PREPARING FOR HIM TO BE HERE WITH ME). Now, I have rationalized enough - PLEASE BRING MY MAN HERE SOOOOOOON! Stevei- I TOTALLY understand!! Right now, as excited as I am, I am also very frustrated because I feel that I don't have enough to do to make this process happen. It's completely out of my hands. i've been looking around for apartment prices, pots and pans, furniture and things like that just so i can get an idea of how much money we will use after he has arrived. The apartment is the most important. They're so expensive! Currently My dad is letting me stay at home for $100 a month which helps me save money. He is also talking about helping us out with whatever. But i just feel kind of helpless because it really is out of my hands. We are starting from 0 when he gets here. It's a scary thought. But we will do it together. Good thing he speaks English! Otherwise it would be difficult to find a job here. Phew. Well... Our time is just around the corner Stevi. i can't believe it... I just wow I am speechless. Thank God. I hope he gets here in Late September. That's when I expect him here in my arms.
