I received a letter today from USCIS. Expecting it to be my NOA2 hard copy i was surprised when I opened it. The letter stated that in response to a call I made to them about my change of address not being recorded I asked if they would send another one. Here's what the letter said. The status of this service is: Our computer systems show that your I-130 petition is still pending United States Citizenship and Immigration Services consideration. I didn't file an I-130 and the Embassy already has our petition. This is to show how truly screwed up USCIS really is. Woah.... Did you call anyone yet? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 09 - VSC	What I've read about the US Embassy in Greece is... "they run the Greek way" which means it's probably going to be laid back. I think over doing it could never hurt, and maybe would even be beneficial in any embassies case. I just printed my 1040 where I filed electronically from 2008 taxes, and will find my 2007 and I think that will be all I need for those. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 09 - VSC	The thing that keeps me going through all this waiting is that at end of every ordeal, worry, anxiety and mass paperwork filing, we get our honeys to come and live with us! If I didn't love him as much as I do, I wouldn't be going through this hell with USCIS, and that's a good indicator right there that we'll be that more appreciative of each other later on down the road. I've been happily finding that we don't have to pay for his EAD seperately because it's filed with the change of status form I-485. We are trying to plan as scrupulously as needed for me to be able to support us both with a grocery cashier's salary .. but every little bit helps. Maire- Are you a therapist like a counselor? I lived with my SO for 6 months in Greece and we are both pretty clingy and it worked very well, so no problem when we move in together right away on entry! We just can't WAIT! I get to finally see him in 3 weeks!! I haven't seen him since leaving Greece on January 23rd, . I told him to expect a hug attack. We're meeting in Barcelona, Spain, but I could care less....I just want my honey and maybe ..well...necessarily..some privacy! His Dad told him, then he told me that he got his packet to his house already, so we'll work on it together in Spain in a little bit. Some of you guys will be welcoming your SO's to the USA the same time I just get to see him...only for 6 days too . I'm hoping for all of your NOA2 hard copies to come, and am amazed at your optimism, it's a good way to think. I'm glad that you suggested the idea of screen printing the Skype records, Derek, I have a lot of "relationship proof" through that, and it won't be difficult to print it out. June 23rd means 5 months away from my Lampros, 200 days left for his army, and 1 year of us communicating.
