I made copies of NOA1/NOA2 and even my birth certificate ... will this be substantial enough? I'm worried to send any part of original document as I've heard they snatch it up.. Hope that helps! hey....my dad also has his own business....and im working with him this year. i dont have any tax returns rite now so i guess my dad can write a letter stating that i work for him? I think that would be ok. He will obviously be the main financial support for the affidavit, as my Mom is for ours. She ordered from the IRS (free) a summary copy of her last years transcripts and that should be all she needs, plus to do her own affidavit paper (I-134). I hardly make enough money on my own to suggest the means to support my fiance and I so I'm just putting together everything that would say I am at least trying. Such as: Bank statement with: Date opened Total amount deposited past year Present Balance Statement from employer stating salary by year (my case per hour) and that I'm a permanent and part time employee, also states job title. Then I got my own copies of my transcripts, 1040's, and W-2's since 2004. These are all to support the affidavit on my part and then of course more documents are needed for the foreign fiance's interview, which is listed under guides here. You can also download the I-134 affidavit instructions which is quite helpful and lists everything you need and is supposedly required reading for filling out the actual document. For our honey moon, or even if we're having a wedding...I'm up in the air about where we'll even be LIVING by the time he gets here. He might come into VA then we'll drive over to the west coast, which will be awesome as he's never even stepped a foot in the states. Or he'll just fly directly to Seattle and then our honey moon will be just existing together... both very exciting. He'll be happy to be out of the army and won't mind just staying put. The VSC approved it and (thought) they were done with it. If the NOA2 had been correctly delivered, the file would not be needed for many months, and then would be needed by a different office (the local field office, not the VSC) when they process the AOS. So until then, they need the space for all the other pending cases, so they put it in storage. Ok, that does make sense. I was just thinking they had "accidentally" sent it off and "oops" his case was buried. Richard- I had told him about school buses when I was living with him in Greece. I said their big and yellow and carry 100 children. Most kids walk to their schools in Greece also, as they aren't 40 miles away, but maybe 1 at most. Or public transportation. I think a big deal for him will be when we move to Seattle and we'll be in the city with giant sky scapers, monorails and mass traffic. I would break up with him and then out of convenience, get back together. I did that to myself several times before finally telling him "NO, we can't be friends too!" The sight of him now makes me glad that I did it...he's repulsive, not only physically . Anyways, you have to put things like this out of might and out of sight or else it will keep you in the wrong focus. The focus that is your honey down in Cuba! You were so upset when you left, I remember you being depressed in the forum. I know you care for him loads and you need to be strong for yourself. Everything they look through and process is a piece of our lives to be. I wonder if that helps them try and run things more efficiently? The thing about the waiting/missing/longing for my SO is that I know now I could never want anyone as my partner. The letter stated that in response to a call I made to them about my change of address not being recorded I asked if they would send another one. Here's what the letter said. The status of this service is: Our computer systems show that your I-130 petition is still pending United States Citizenship and Immigration Services consideration. I didn't file an I-130 and the Embassy already has our petition. This is to show how truly screwed up USCIS really is. Woah.... Did you call anyone yet?
