A few little hiccups with Alisa not wanting to sleep, because she has been so excited and just wants to see everything. Other than that it has been indescribably awesome. We are going to Disney with Oksana's parents today so I am excited to get to bring them all here for the first time. Once again I want to thank everyone for all their support and kind words when I thought this would never happen and you guys were always there to pick me up whenever I was just completely depressed about how long it was taking. You guys have made this process so much easier. Aww Lee I'm so happy for you!! Glad that little Alisa is excited. You'll be her new daddy! Awwww! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 09 - VSC, K-1 filings	Well since we didn't have any of his immunization records we had to get blood work done to prove he's had the shots/is immune.. argh. It cost a total of $425 but they did send the paperwork to us already and sealed with copies outside the seal . We have to get his birth certificate translated still, more costs! We're also getting two more passport photo's for him on my day off. Now to wait on the translation and we'll send it in ASAP! Again though.. sorry for the late replies and long pauses! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Wonderful News	God is great, I thank him so much..... my fiance was at the consulate at 6am and was not called till 1050am to the window. The prescreener was overwhelmed with the evidence she kept telling my fiance its too much documents. The CO was nice, he asked how long my fiance has known me, He had looked into our album and documents and stated he has seen everything and it looked good. He also asked does he have any family here in the US. Whether they get along with my family? He has about the phone records, he stated he do make alot of calls and he asked my fiance about his phone number and if i had any other relatives in Ghana and he said yes. Because i was born and raised in Ghana. The CO stated we have overwhelming evidence and he is approved... Thank you so much my VJ family i really appreciate i wouldn't have been do it with out you. who ever came up with VJ is a genuis. This website is a great and fantastic website. Luv you my VJ family. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	THANKS GOD--APPROVED ALSO!!	Congrats!!! My fiance and I got our NOA2 on September 11th! We got our NOA1 on June 16th. I wasn't expecting an approval for at least another 2 months, so we were very surprised! I guess they must have done a mass approval session I know there's still a lot of work ahead, but one big part is done, and it feels so great! I know that Monday was a holiday for government workers, but why has so little changed this week? I was excited when a number of couples with September 27th/28th dates were approved, but why is it taking them so long to move on to October? Keep in mind these two words: "Initial Review" Every time you feel the need to check your status online just remember those two words. You would pretty much get 100% of the experience as if you had online access to your case! Initial Review...this has been my experience with the USCIS online case status! Rachel, I received the text at 6:28pm PST and the email at 6:29pm PST. For some reason I thought I wouldn't get notification after 5pm PST, but they must send out notifications later than 5pm. Hope you get yours soon. I never called the service center so hopefully this just means they will start processing October and start moving a bit more quickly!!! The letter from consulate said we have to have police report from any country were you had to live more than 6 month. 2. Military record needs to be attached. 3. Form I-864 supposed to be sent and notarized. We have problem in time frame to get police report 1-2 month, military record not on a list for request from Uzbekistan Consulate in Israel. 3. Why did they request I-864 instead I-134? On a letter also note: Police certificates from certain countries are considered unobtainable. The consular office will advise you about any particular country. If anyone can help to know about this list of countries (by phone we tried-answering system works, no one replied) How do we have to respond with military record, and if we have to fill out form I-864 or I-134? I called the US Embassy in Greece and was transferred 5 times within 1 minute and then ended up at a voice mail of the "Immigration" line. I stayed up till 1:30am to call them then they said that the walk in hours were 8:30am and calling hours were 1-4, so hopefully within the next 30 mins I can get a hold of someone to figure out this "Military Status A" paper. We're thinking to just schedule the interview way into January 2010 so that it automatically extends the NOA2 and also then he'll be out of he military so he can actually be able to ATTEND the interview at leisure. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 09 - VSC	I JUST GOT FINISHED READING.... Actually, I just got back on after work then dinner, then back out to town then back to work.... (grocery stores are habitual to attend) and now back home again! I'm jealous of skype talks everyday and long distance phone calling. We're staying in contact via skype SMS to Mobile and vice versa. We only are able to messenger together one or two times a week, maybe and calls are about the same. It's hard as hell to be so far away from him but I just have to hold in mind that this isn't permanent distance, it's a bit of time in between our lives together permanently.
