I just received a text and an e-mail our case was approved...I am so very happy...I really feel the approvals are going to start rolling in from TSC...Now lets see if it will be forwarded to NVC in a timely manner....

I don't post much but I am in with ya all...I called the customer service number and was told I had to wait 60 days from the last action that was taken on my case (which was 11-30-10) before I could submit a service request...So now off to my congressmen to see what he can do...I do hope with some of us speaking out it will light a fire under their a**** to get our loved ones with us...Take care all we will get through this

I-130 Approval to NVC it pertains to YOU ! ! !

Nataliya was done at NVC expedited on February 9th TSC sent them fedex overnight to NVC with the process they had orginally setup Nataliya's Interview for March 3rd but i called the Kyiv Embassey and they gave me and interview date for February 23 as per the EXPEDITE Barbara, sent to Denice at TSC, So I was able to speed up becasue of a cancellation in Kyiv and got move earlier.
I talked to NVC once during the process and they told me it was the weather that caused them to stop work and processing along with the holidays late December.
SO any way maybe you all who got approved and its been more than 15 days try this

YEAH SOME APPROVAL WENT BACK TO CSC becasue TSC couldnt process them fast enought as CSC could
some approvals are still at TSC not being shipped back to CSC and have not been sent to NVC yet.
If your approval has not been 15 days yet ...ITS STILL SITTING AT TSC until than it will go to
NVC but not until next week Febraury 18th they told me orgianlly monday the 7th.
Also many approvals are still pending. ! ! ! !

Thanks again Ron...I wish I could be more proactive on this but with my job, my son, and the big one my mom having cancer it is very hard to get time for sleep and well just time in general...
I am emailing NVC now and I know they won't get on it until Monday but I have the rest of the weekend to look at the paperwork NVC needs to make sure I have got it all correct...

I was approved on the 10th of January and when I called the lady told me to wait 15 business days...I waited then on the 3rd of February I got an email saying it was shipped to NVC...I called the AVR everyday then spoke to a person on the 10th of February and still no case #...So now I will have them research it to find out where it is at....

Thanks 1lovingyou2 for the info...I was told the same from a NVC operator but she told me to wait 15 BUSINESS days. So I waited then recieved on 2/03/2011 an email saying they shipped my file to NVC. I have been calling the AVR everyday and still no case #...When I email NVC with my approval notice should I also send a copy of the email that they sent about my case being shipped???

And 1lovingyou2 (or is it Ron) have you got your case number for NVC or did they send all the papers to the consulate??

Hey ezze, how did you find out your case was touched at USCIS? I've been checking everyday since I got my NOA1 and the website still says my case is not online... Oh and I'm July filer also!!

If I was you I would call them and find out why it is not online yet because you have a recipt number and it should be there...But when you get online to check it will give you a date it was last updated and I have read it means your case was touched...

Thanks Loto...I think I was reading someone else tried to expedite on a similar situation and it was not approved that is why I was debating on doing it or not...But I will talk with my step-dad and maybe her Dr.(he is a Brazilian man) so I am sure he knows the immigration process and see what they think???

Thanks Loto...I am debating now to try to expidite my case but I don't know if it will qualify...To make a long story short the 2nd week in April we found out my mom has cancer and at that time they gave her 10 months to live...She has been through 3 very tough chemo sessions and things are looking better but the cancer is still there...I just want my mom to be here to meet my husband...But the questio I keep asking my self do I want the added stress of gathering info from the Dr and what not LOL...Right now I have to keep a very positive attitude and think God does not give me more than I can handle...But anyways What do you think should I try?
And Loto get on the phone and call them it is too long for you not to even get someting from USCIS...

Once you have a message in front of you, You can copy and paste it into word pad, Print it from word pad and then before you close out of word pad save it in your documents. I suggest saving it as joe11.19.10 assuming your boyfiends name is joe and the message was made on nov 19,2010. then they will be saved neatly in chronological order.

If you dont know how to cut and paste or how to find word pad, let me know and I will give more detailed instructions

Plan to go to Tunisian in February. Marry my wonderful man! I am from USA, I have never flown on plane. My first step is passport. Applied. That is the easy part. I think next would be documents to marry. Divorced 10 yrs now, getting copy of divorce decree. Getting copy of birth certificate from vital statics with seal.Add him to lease just before I go to show we are marry. I think the marry part will be easy. Then the steps to bring him home with me, to our home. He works, has some money in bank, a Masters, but not much travel experience. Our age worry us. We are 19 yrs difference. But has completely let me into his life, lets me know anything I want to know. Looking at what is needed for visa, is kinda overwhelming, but we will make it work. Any advice would be great! I need to know how to print our internet conversations and logs. I can print some of our phone calls, but I read here paper trail is very important. And flight experience for him helps. He has not traveled. Some of my friends are concerned about me travel by myself to other country. From what I have read, Tunisia is pretty safe to travel to. It is the airports I may feel a little uneasy about, not flying before. I am willing to fly the world for him. Again, any advice would be very greatful. Thank you and this is a wonderful site. The best I have looked at thus far.

Copy of Tax Returns Vs Tax Transcripts

IRS transcripts are the best to send. I sent my Turbotax forms. So far, no problem. I did, however, order the IRS transcripts for my records and also for the upcoming interview.
You should be fine using just IRS transcripts, along with your W2 and 1099. :thumbs:

USPS is Stupid

One problem with USPS Express Mail is that signature confirmation is included. This poses a problem if the addressee is a post office box. USCIS, like many other offices, will only check their P.O. box once daily.
So, if your mail is delivered after USCIS checked their box, it will not be marked as delivered, but rather notice left. The system isn't perfect...but what system is?

I can't answer your previous two questions, as I have not petitioned through NVC yet. However, I can help you with this question.
At the top right of this webpage, click on the silhouette to the left of "Seahawks21" You may change your picture or avatar later.
Next, click on "Edit my Profile" button which is found on the right, just below "View New Content Popular Topics Advanced Search"
Under the "Profile" tab, click on "Change Signature" You will then be able to create and edit your signature. Be sure to click on "Save Changes" when you're done.
You can also change your photo and avatar under the "Profile" tab. Hope this helps! :thumbs:

Just wondering which photo will be on the green card. Will it be one of the passport photos I submitter with my original application or the one that was taken at the biometrics appointment?
