I just got my citizenship September 2010.Special thanks to all the contributors on the N-400 Forum. Its time to file for my fiance of 11 years....I am excited and overwhelmed at the same time. I have read the guides and all... Started my application today.... For now i have three questions... In regards to question 18 on the i-129f application on "if we have met within the last 2 yrs and how we met" This is what i typed in....>>>Let me know if its too much information or less information or exactly whats expected. My mum is gonna be our co-sponsor.what is required of her... I need her w2 form? if yes ...from what year? do i also need her to get a tax transcripts does she need a letter from her employer? and again,what forms does she has to file. since the packet 3 link is broken.I guess i have to wait for the embassy for it and again,i emailed the embassy today asking if they got my paperwork and requesting for an interview date. Thanks a million. You could go and get it done if you like however you will need something to show you have an interview coming up have you received pkt 3 via email yet? that will have all the paperwork you need to finish up everything before the interview. And according to Nigeriaorbust the link is broken and cant be downloaded in advance anymore. Wonder how people come up with all kind of stuff... ...If u r traveling with food items,u might need to bribe people at Nigeria airport..Besides that...i really dont see d need for it. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K1 FIANCE VISA EVIDENCE	Totally agree Gifts don't prove a bona fide relationship. Sending money doesn't prove a bona fide relationship. Too much of those could possibly work against you. A petitioner would not the interviewing officer to see the beneficiary as a "gold digger." You want to show two people that are building a life together and want to be married. Correspondence, time spent together, time spent with family & friends, etc. Focus on that type of evidence. It cost about 5k,,it takes a week to get it ready. If you are not in Lagos then you need to find the closest population/census office in your city or town. Does that make a difference? I am not included on his taxes for this year because he did not provide more than 50% of my support this past year (as per the IRS).
