Everything else is passed but we never anticipate that her fingers are dry, wrinkled and thus the machine could not pick up her prints!

Now we are just waiting her hands getting better.

So guys, ask your fiance/fiancee take care of their hands before the Interview!

You can do a quick finger print test on the computer monitor or TV to see if the prints are visible.

Hi,

My wife came to US with K1. Now she has conditional GC. Once the condition is lifted after 2 years, she just needs to wait one more year to apply for naturalization? I don't know if the conditional GC counts toward these three years.

Here is the requirement from the US Naturalization Guide:

If you are at least 18 years old and:
Are currently married to and living with a U.S. citizen;
and
Have been married to and living with that same U.S.
citizen for the past 3 years;
and
Your spouse has been a U.S. citizen for the past 3 years.

In going over everything, I realized I made an error on Item 10 where it asks the date you filed for the petitioner. I was wondering if it was alright to keep this same form and write an annotation letter stating that I wrote the wrong date... do you think that would suffice?

Hello fellow journeymen/women

The light at the end of the tunnel is sooo close that I can almost touch it. Alas, it looks like the Immigration gods are testing our will and paitents. My wife has been given an interview date for 4th of May, unfortunately she has a final exams in the first two weeks of May and there is no way she can postpone those either. So we'll have to try and reschedule the interview for later in May or it could get pushed out to June.

Anyone else been in a similar situation regardless of embassy? I'd like to know how flexiable the counsulates are at rescheduling interviews or whether they'll see this as a "red flag" of some sort.

I had my Interview last year but we already planed a wedding in switzerland and payed for everything, so we went to reschedule but unfortunately they will cancel the interview and than send you a new date, for me it has been 9 month and yet I have not a new interview date!! try to go to your interview!!!

I just received the 10 year GC and I wanted to know what the difference is compared to the conditional GC.

How is that with the N-400 do i need to have the GC for 2 years first or is it enough to be married for 2 years?

We have been patiently waiting since the 1st of March for NVC to schedule an interview with the Embassy in Athens, Greece. Does anyone have any information about the Embassy in Athens? Yep! the hospital will send the results directly to embassy, they will call your wife to inform her and she can get her copies too.

 

My interview was at 1:30 PM and I arrived at 1:00PM. It was not so busy and there are not so much applicants. I was called after a few minutes for fingerprints, and after around 10 minutes for the interview proper. My interview lasted for about 15 minutes I think. The consul officer was nice and straightforward. She told me after the interview that she will just verify some of our documents and they will contact me soon.

 

These are some of the questions:

 

How long have you been working in Bahrain?

What is your work?

Where did u meet your fiance?

Did your fiance ever visited you here?

 

My interview was Thursday, and weekends here are Friday & Saturday. Come Sunday afternoon, I received a call from embassy to bring my passport. I thought i will have a second interview but they took only fingerprints, and that was it!

 

I also frequent this site https://ceac.state.g...ker/Status.aspx to know what's going on with my case. Mine was " Ready" since November 26, 2013. It was changed only to "Administrative Processing" when they are already processing my visa. After an hour, it changed to " Issued" dancin5hr.gif

They called me on Feb. 4 to pick up my passport with visa.

 

It was pretty easy, I must say kudos to the consular officers and staffs of US Embassy Manama! Me and my fiance are ecstatic and can't wait to be with each other again heart.gif

NICE !!! SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS PLEASE PRAY FOR US.....IM SORRY I KNOW I MAY BE ASKING ALOT lol BUT ONE MORE THING.. WHAT KIND OF EVIDENCE WOULD did you take and how much ive got alot of pics ... phoen calls are all on viber or google talk skype i can only pull last 3 months... ;/ im nervous

So you said this was your wife, so I am going to assume you aren't applying for a K-1 Visa.
Both of us are the going through the current K1 process, so we probably aren't the best to ask since your process is going to be different than ours. :/

 

Since you replied I thought you were doing the K1.  I apologize. 
I suggest searching through forms and maybe posting up a new thread?

Well this is another thing....The NVC asked for her original birthcertificate.. and also the police certificate was submitted with other civil documents to uscis and NVC

like the marriage certificate, copy of passport ... so should I have more recent police certificate? and also what is this 1-134?? I don't know of this at all..

so far I payed the uscis fee.. also the IV fees and visa fee I belive as soon as the NVC process began. what is this other form? they paystubs and my last year tax return was sent with my affidavit of support (AOS which im waiting for tobe reviwed) this is second time I sent it in the first one I sent there was an RFE saying line 13.a.1 the gross total did not match my recent tax return (I was off by a a dollar and some cents) and also they asked for her origina birth cert which I sent.

She doesn't have her vaccination record so we are beginning work on that this week should she proceed with the medical as well or wait for final confirmation from NVC or consulate? so many questions so many worries.. thankyou guys in advance and sorry for all the pestering.

Someone please help m so confused and I have never read anything like this on VJ
My wife's interview was schduled for march 6th...
Butas soon as the consulate recived paperwrk .. Someone from embassy called and asked her to bring current police certificates and told her that interview was rescheduled to 38 of feb.. so she my wife asked if this could be done following day the CO insisted it be done that day
So my wife went .. When she went she was told 2 or 3 things to be corrected
Our marriage cert. Which my wife pointed out was alrdy in packet. The co said keep it n bring it to interview..
Than my wife was told she needed her orig birth certificate .. My wife and I sent this but co said no.. In the p4 it says received sent by nvc.. But co said no... Called nvc they said its in the packet we sent it.
So now what do I do .. I know I sent it... Nvc n the p4 states it was sent...
What do I do someone please help!!!

SO THE LETTER IS FORM 221-G IT SAID WE DENY YOUR INTERVIEW BECAUSE YOU DID NOT COMPLY WITH BLAH BLAH BUT UNDER IT IT SAID IN THE REMARKS *VISA APPROVED , BUT WAITING ON NEW PASSPORT...

SO THIS MEANS ITS ALREADY APPROVED ??? NO MORE CHANCE OF AP THEY ARE JUST WAITING ON PASSPORT SO THEY CAN STAMP IT RIGHT?
