IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Revised I-864 form processing procedures	I recently submitted the I-864 and I-864a for my spouse. After 20 days I called the NVC since I hadn't heard anything. They said they had received the form, however this was an updated version of the form which has only been online for a few months now. The guy told me that they currently do not have a procedure in place to process the revised version of the form, so until then there will be no further processing on I-864 forms. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar response from them. I called again to see if I got the same response, and I did. Any proof that can be submitted is at the discretion of the interviewing agent, weather they accept and find it to be useful or unnecessary. If you would like to take chat history/images and you feel it will help you.. then do it! I have read cases from others were they have not been asked for proof of ongoing relationship, others have submitted 500pages and been declined visa. Its better to go prepared! however the best proof is the involvement of the family with you. Taking pictures of each other spending time with the family is very strong proof of a pious and honest relationship I just need to ask how should I print my Skype and Facebook chat history. Dear All, If the visa has been issued after an Administrative Processing, then after how long you shall probably receive the call from American Express to pick up the Passport ? Moreover, if somebody is in contact with Department of State and if they verifies that VISA HAS BEEN ISSUED then what do you think it is an authentic source of information or should we contact embassy in this regard. Asia: South	k1 co-sponser is allowed ? islamabad embassy?	There is a simple logic behind their refusal of accepting some of the co-sponsor at the instance of interview. According to my believe, what I actually think is that in some of the cases petitioner is totally dependent either on his/her parents or somebody else closer to the petitioner. In such a case he/she doesn't really have any reasonable income or job, in such a scenario it is highly rated that beneficiary's co-sponsor would probably be refused. But if the Petitioner have a job and if he/she is just short of the 125% poverty line, may be some hundred or thousand dollars, and if in that case applicant use the co-sponsor then it is acceptable to the interviewer. That is what I guess. Otherwise, there might be any other hypothetical reason behind this issue which I am unable to know. There might be any other one, but that is the one which I thinks. Asia: South	NEED INFO ON K1 VISA	You don't need to notarize Packet 3.5 Forms Faisal. Just fill the forms mentioned by SN 530 previous to my comment and attach other documents. You don't have to pay any fee along with Packet 3.5 except the courier charges there at the American Express or Speedex, which wouldn't be more than 2000 PKR. I only sent my fiancee the last 3 months of phone call logs because that is all that i really have! I used a phone calling card company that only tracks last 3 months. facebook chats.... 100 pages of that did not want to print soo much paper and expenseive INK! whatsaap....... 200+ pages same as above skype.... yeah did not chat much on skype just used the video option. emails.... maybe a few emails... phone is a lot easier any suggestions? How did you print that Facebook chat, I mean in what format actually. As there is no given option as "Facebook Chat Print" except copying and pasting it manually. Ya you are absolutely right, Pakistan Prepaid Connection doesn't offer you to have Call Log more than last 3 months. This 11 months call log was taken PTCL (The only landline company here in Pakistan). Moreover, I don't have Hotel Receipts or Train Tickets etc because as she came she stayed here at my home and we do have cars so we never got a chance to be there in Train. And Pakistan is not the easiest consulate! All you need to keep all the above things in advance because they may ask for all above things if they are not convinced with verbal communication. Just be prepared along with all these documents. I have taken the following information off of the Department of State website: http://travel.state....pes_2994.html#8 During the visa interview, applicants will be required to present evidence to the Consular Officer that they will not become a public charge in the U.S. You may present evidence that you are able to financially support yourself or that your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is able to provide support. The Consular Officer may request that a Form I-134, Affidavit of Support be submitted by the U.S. citizen fiancé(e). The U.S. citizen fiancé(e) will need to submit Form I-864 to USCIS with the application for adjustment of status to that of legal permanent resident following the marriage. The 125 percent of the federal poverty guideline minimum income requirement, the most recent year's tax return, and other requirements only apply when Form I-864 is needed. Applicants presenting Form I-134 will need to show that their U.S. sponsor's income is 100 percent of the federal poverty guideline. The Department of State uses the Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM) to go by. In the case of a joint tax return being used by a sponsor, their individual W2/1099 info would be needed to confirm their share of the joint income shown. I am simply attaching the copies (Xerox or Photocopy) of the Tax Return Transcript along with the copies of W2s by my fiancee and our joint sponsor too. But I don't have 1099, would it be okay ? US Citizenship General Discussion	Birth Certificate Acceptance !	When embassy asked for the Original Birth Certificate along with the packet 3, I sent them the one made by NADRA. The original one, they accepted it and scheduled my Appointment for the Interview. Now do I need to re-make the original birth certificate to take along with me to the interview or not ? Moreover, the NADRA's (English Translated) computerized certificate is okay or should we take that manually made Birth Certificate one made locally by the court and later attested ? Hindsight is a wonderful thing (not).   We married in Christchurch NZ 2008, I went back to the states and had to come back to NZ. Hubby is still in Ohio. Australia and New Zealand	NEW ZEALANDers heading to the US and their USC spouses - POST HERE!	Hi everyone, Im Carmen and a Kiwi rookie to this site. This is my first post ,although Ive been busy soaking up bits n pieces from all over the place. So thank ful to find a speciifc forum related to New Zealanders experiences!   I am married to an American, hes lived in NZ, I have lived in the states ,and after a couple of attempts to readjust my status while in the states and it being rejected, the short version of our journey is that I flew back to NZ 2011, to see family (my sons live in the ChCh-the newly named Quake City).HUbby had just landed a job in Ohio ,so our plans were he save and follow me 6mths to 12 mths later. After a while I found it hard to settle back into NZ life and the cost of living depressing. As much as my 'mummy heart' felt torn, I decided I want to return to the U.S. So after us dithering around a bit , hubby is petitioning for me to become a US resident...I have filled out a G325 A form ,and sent over documents etc. This is something we both should have done before we left NZ the first time ,2009....but bottom line is we didnt....   I guess my concerns now are the overall cost! and if I can even afford the whole process,   any medical issues that I may get disapproved for etc...ha thats presuming hubbys petition is even approved. Cant think why not though.
