Well it depends on the CO I guess and the documents she paased..There are some instances like what others ( fellow VJ members) have experienced before that CO's are doing an additional processing .. Its a case to case basis I think.. My friend Jane ( a fellow VJ member also) had her interview last Feb. 9 at window 32 and after 3 days she received her visa which was delivered by air 21.. Just hang in there, soon the visa will be delivered right at your fiance(e) doorstep..Who knows maybe tomorrow? (aside from obvious reasons, such as beauty and family oriented) I didn't decide by myself, its GOD who decides for me.Its HIS Will for us.. 2. If you've been married a while now, how's things going? Are you happy with each other? Its awesome...We are very much happy with each other..altho life or our relationships sometimes is like a roller coaster. Just be strong and don't forget to ask guidance and help from HIM... 3. Are there things you wish you could change? Yes, I wish I could change the TIME..if only I could make it perfect for us.. 4. If you had this to do all over again, would you? Yes for sure, I would.. 5. Any tips for a future newlywed? Usually you/ they ONLY have to pay it on their first time leaving/ exiting the PI (for PI citizens only and thats if not included in the ticket).. Ok, like when I first left the country (PI) back in 09 , I had to pay the travel tax and of course all other fees (terminal, etc), but when I took that vacation last year and just got back 2 months ago here in the US (still a PI citizen), I only paid the terminal fee (550 Pesos) at the NAIA airport and thats it! NO More travel tax! Philippines	It seems like im ready, am i?	Ok so there's a 550 fee, is that for all three of us? Last time i was in the Philippines i didn't have to pay that 1650 fee, do i have to pay it. And my daughter already has her Consular report of birth abroad and her US passport so shes a US citizen, does she have to pay it. My wife is a Filipino with a CR1 visa so i understand she will have to pay it. But what are these other fees you are talking about. How much money should i bring to be safe? Ok, just to make it clear, a terminal fee is P 550.00/ person..So since there are 3 of you ( you, your wife and daughter) then it will be P 1650.00 pesos..And thats for the terminal fee alone...The other fee you have to pay is for your wife's travel tax ( if its not included in the ticket and that being a Filipino citizen and leaving the country) which is P 1620.00 pesos.. SO, I think all in all, you have to pay P 3270.00 pesos, but make sure to have extra pesos just in case . I know Hank had mentioned about this earlier but make sure you've got enough Pesos to pay for the terminal fee and other fees for your wife ( since she is a Filipino).. .It's a lot easier and faster to pay in cash..550 Pesos ( Terminal/Airport fee) x 3 = 1650 pesos + other fees..I know there are some money exchanger inside the airport but it would be better to be ready all the time...and not going anywhere looking for something! Philippines	INTERVIEW	It seems like the interviews for spousal visas are easier than the K1. They won't ask anything that you haven't already answered on one form or another. Last week they asked my wife 2 questions, what year did you guys meet and do you have any kids. They asked me 1 question, have you filed with the IRS for the last 3 years. Everyone I talked to that day said the questions were easy. Bring originals of everything you submitted before from the NSO and copies of everything else you submitted just in case Hi there, We are not a Cr1 filer either,but my sister is... Well, it depends on the case or situations you were having! If your case is not that complicated, then CO will likely ask you 3-4 questions,,or maybe more, which are mostly basic questions about you and your petitioner such as : What is your name? , What is the name of your petitioner?, What does he do for a living? When did you get married? , etc, etc...Questions like that.....You just have to be prepared with everything tho...Also you can practice it at home on how you gonna say it, have someone to ask you the questions.. ,( That helps too) Usually the normal whole interview will takes about 15-20 minutes, maybe less or more...Again, it depends on the situation..As far as documents wise, please bring everything you have gathered together...You can do it! Philippines	A Filipina in Air Force Basic Training	About 10 minutes after what should have been "lights out" for her, I got a phone call from her. I could hear all the other women talking in the background calling too. She gave me her address first thing, but sometimes I have trouble understanding her over the phone because of her accent and I had to have her repeat things several times with all the other noise there too. I still dont know if I have the correct dorm number... All the examples I saw online show it differently. But hopefully my letters will get to her. We had very little time to talk after that. She asked about our son, and I told her he was sleeping now, and that he sat at the computer today looking at pictures of her and him together. I had time to tell her I love her very much and she said same to me, and that was all then, for now. I am surprised they were able to call after taps (lights out). Maybe this one time. She sounded calm, focused, business-like. She did NOT sound confused or overwhelmed or depressed. She seemed composed and in control. I bought and packed everything for her, 2 weeks before leaving for basic training. So when she got there, she had everything she needed, I know that. So she has all of what she needed, I made sure of that. So hopefully that helped to make her more calm too, having just what she needed. Philippines	A Filipina in Air Force Basic Training	Thank you very much! I will share with her your comments when I hear from her again. Haven't heard anything since she called at the San Antonio, Texas airport last night and she said with a little fear in her voice, "I better go and find that place now" (where she would be signed in, and wait for the bus to transport them to Lackland AFB). Some groups get to make a phone call home that night right away, and others get to call the next day, but it looks like her group didnt get to do that either day. I think it all depends on the drill instructor you have, and it kind of makes me think her's is really a tough one. Thanks again for your comments. You are very welcome!
