I have got my interview scheduled on 14th august and my fiance has just decided he will be moving to another apartment (cheaper and central) at the beginning of sept. Well, all my forms and the I-134 and the rest have been filled with the address where is currently staying at until the end of august, so he's moving after the date of my interview. So do I need to notify anyone at the embassy, obv he hasn't moved yet so he doesn't have any proof of new address yet. But if I don't notify anyone, will this cause an issue at POE? I thought my january family might enlighten me on this thanks Same sorta thing with me and L. The answer I got told was "Will you be arriving in the USA before the move in date" If yes, then don't worry. Even if it's one day, you're still at your old address. Sabi, I am pulling for you. I hope you get it done soon. What is this electronic packet 3 everyone is talking about? I was thinking, now i call NVC constantly. Get a number, have ben go get his medical done somehow i get a letter telling me a link to packet 3, i then call NVC give them my mastercard for the affidavit of support but, does Packet 3 go to the UK embassy or NVC? Thank you all for your help, I will be thinking about all of you. Congratulations!!! Hang on, you should get the letter in the mail about 3-4 weeks after your noa2. if your fiancee only needs the embassy number, that should be available at about 15-20 days by calling. We didn't get ours until nearly a full month after our NOA2, we had it just after my medical exam! It'll get to you, but you don't need it for anything. Ok so we had some approvals yesterday too! January 10: 1 x RFE January 18: 2 x approval January 19: 2 x approval January 23: 1 x approval January 27: 1 x approval Two more days left of this week... I am praying for all of you right now! We're all praying here as well for each and every one of you. This wait is insane ok so we got a letter from our senator and the letter that the senator got from the USCIS: "Senator Bingaman, The petition was received on January 20, 2012 and is pending review at the VSC. VSC's processing time for this form type , posted on www.uscis.gov website, is approximately 5 months from the received date. According to the website, the petition is considered out of normal processing time (ONPT), however due to workload priorities, VSC is unable to expedite the processing of the Petition for Alien Fiance (Form I-129F) that is ONPT, at this time, in order for VSC to consider expediting the processing of a form I-129F evidence of an extreme emergent need would have to be provided. You may want to contact us again, for a status update, in approximately 30-60 days. Thank you " Senator was kind to inform us that he will however keep an eye on our case and let us know as soon as he knows more... well nothing left but to patiently wait... we have tried everything, we are left on our own! The good news is that my flatmate decided to stay with me till end of October so hopefully I have my visa till then... I won't complain, finally good news At least it's something! Hopefully a little nudge and nag every now and then will shove them in the right direction, but some serious questions need to be asked about WHY this delay even exists. Will write a proper review later but had a really good experience, no problems, very nice interviewer who asked the usual things (how we met, whether i wanted to work in US, if we'd spent much time with each others families, when our wedding was planned for). I was wiping away tears when she said i was approved and she said "stop it, or i'll start too!". Called Andrew to tell him and I'm pretty sure he will need to be told all over again when he actually wakes up, i think he was sleep-skyping! We have no criminal records, nothing. The journey is over for us now. I cannot wait any longer. We must be together. I am gonna get everything in order to move to him and marry him there. Does anybody have any advice? I'm in shock. Complete shock. 6.5 months and a denial. I don't understand! If I live with him there, can I apply for a marriage visa for the U.S. in like a year? I am certain I am going there. That's the only way. I pray no one else gets denied. What an unbelievable, horrible nightmare this year has been. I came on this morning hoping to see some good news. I'm going to get my fiance to pay extra for the police certificate to get back here faster. So far, the police certificate has been the biggest problem for us as most of his friends are still in school and can't sign for him yet. He only got back from visiting me 2 weeks ago or we would've taken care of this long before. It's probably that you send it packet 3 with your medical date listed, and then once they get your results, they'll schedule an interview. That makes the most sense. Since your case is being sent to london and probably there already, you can book your medical and send your packet three and four letters right now (Obviously you'll need your police certificate)... my signature tells it all on that one	photomile	Male	Wales	2012-07-26 09:54:00

I know we're a little later on in the process, but watching this is unbearable and I can't imagine what you're all going through. I really hope this is over for you soon, I know I keep saying that it's at the forefront of my mind. I'm all out of ideas on what is going on, the fact that congressmen aren't responding to phone calls is a little concerning to say the least, one wonders what things will be like when it comes to processing adjustment of status. Sorry I don't mean to add more doom and gloom. All I can really say is that there is an end in sight I just hope it comes quickly. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	yes I know You see the only thing is, I see those RFEs still there, hundreds of them not approved so I am not sure how this causes the backlog if they still don't do anything about them... Unless they are approving RFEs from last year but even that, you're saying that those are still untouched from November/December... looks to me as if any explanation and excuse was good enough for them... well it is not for us though!I see people from early Feb being approved (I am happy for them of course!) but what does it tell me? that my petition is lost? in a wrong box (maybe with April/May petitions by mistake) or that we are going through a lot of background checks? That again doesn't make much sense, Terry never got even a speed ticket and had been background checked so many times before since he works as a volunteer in the hospital... Something is not right in there... Just to give them more time, I am hoping now I will be approved by the end of August, that way I would probably make it for a November move... but then again, here is me hoping! I know, I realise. I just want you guys approved. This wait for you all is horrible and even though we're on our way, me and L are both wishing good thoughts for everyone. We really wish we could do something to help, Didn't mean to p you off, sorry Don't even know if I should post this but I got my pack 4 today. Who are they at the USCIS to decide who is approved first without any chronological sense at all!So yeah so explanation is good enough knowing I will be apart from my fiance for the next 3-4 months!? and even here I have to put the question mark as I just can't be certain anymore! uh.... sorry just trying to provide a possible explanation that makes sense. Of course it's not fair people aren't being approved in order, and it's about time this got sorted out. I don't think even CSC has been this bad before, and it's almost like a total stop. However, I think I know what's going on. Remember I said there were a heck of a lot of RFE's in December and November? Well, here's the VSC stakeholder newsletter for June, and rather unusually they have a dedicated section for RFE's http://www.aila.org/...spx?docid=40032 So I went through November. And December again! There's a lot of RFE's STILL there! This isn't VSC being slow! This is hundreds and hundreds of people that didn't file properly that have caused RFE's and literally stopped up the system. It's not slow because of some failed IT project, it's slow because everyone is so backed up processing RFE's! Not everyone who gets an RFE is going to be because they didn't file properly, of course there's going to be adjudicators that are being hard on people, or documents that are lost, but we know full well from posts on this forum that there are some people that just don't read instructions and throw off an application form with nothing else! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	I know so many don't read instructions but everyone is almost getting hit with an RFE. It is surprising..But its good to know that someone is not doing something at someone's expense. Thank you for reminding us I can safely say that of the few hundered I found for December, almost 70% were RFE'd I won't go so far as to say they would intentionally issue RFE's to make their deadlines stretch (though people in any job will have days where they choose to be lazy), but some adjudicators will be more strict than others. I know that some have gotten RFE's because the adjudicator thought that their application was a copy instead of original, and the couple had to send back a new one and sign it in blue ink at the bottom. Some have gotten RFE's for their photos not having the date printed on them. And as we've seen, many people find VJ after filing and didn't know to send something important, like the intent to marry within 90 days. Despite what I've said before, I do agree they might be a little more 'ready' to give an RFE although I'm not sure it's intentional. They're probably working at about double to workload this time, so I have a feeling things are being rushed so things are not getting looked at in such a detailed manner and things might be being... rushed	photomile	Male	Wales	2012-07-18 07:31:00

When I went through the petitions for all of December a heck of a lot of RFE's were sent out anyway. It's perfectly normal! There are a lot of people out there that don't read instructions or do need additional information. I even mentioned it earlier in this thread that I was surprised at the number of RFE's that I was seeing. It's nothing out of the ordinary at all	photomile	Male	Wales	2012-07-18 06:11:00
