US Citizenship General Discussion	N-400 July 2010 Applicants	The reason your wife didn't get hers yet maybe because they're not done with the background check or she wasnt cleared by FBI check or something. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	interview completed but visa uncertain	I went to Seoul for my fiance's visa interview and to spend several days with him. We got all the application stuff together and he went to the interview. He told them I was there and they had him come back for a re-interview with me. I think if I had not been in Korea the CO would have refused the visa on the first interview. She thought because he has four children and is not steadily employed he must only be seeking a green card marriage. After the second interview in which we were insisting that we love each other and intend a real marriage (she asked me why I wanted a Korean man, he was asked why he didn't marry a Korean American woman), at the end she said she would "take what you guys are saying to me at face value" which I guess means she will approve. But she needs more paperwork from him regarding something on his police report. So now he is doing that - means getting another translation too. I am back in the US now and I'm really nervous. I hope he can get the paperwork in there before she changes her mind. Now it's the weekend so nothing can be done for a few days. I was so hoping to have this all settled before coming back here. It is really really hard. I expected him to be questioned about this but not that much. Cheer Up!!! Dnt Lose Hope....Im Praying For Your Visa getting Thru Soon!!! GoodLuck & God Bless!!! Consulate Recieved My CAse NOv. 20, 2006 and Recieved Packet Online NOv. 22, 2006 and I FAx Them My Interview Appointment Same DAy! And Today I Got A Phone CAll From The Embassy And They Confirmed That My Interview Is Scheduled On December 12, 2006! That was FAst and early Than Expected! I Was Thinking My Interview will be Early JAnuary! I Am Soooo happy Right Now! My Fiance Is Still Sleeping And I have To wait In the Morning To tell HIm The Good News!
