K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	ODD RFE Email From USCIS!!	Has it just not changed as of yet and always said that??? Because even after they recieved our RFE back, the portfolio update took along time to change. It could be they have it and are processing it, but they didn't update your portfolio. Did it change and then go back? Yes. It Did Change We Get Touched yesterday Get Email From USCIS And I Attached Here Below The Contents of Email And On My Profilio And Today They Send Back The RFE Notice They Send From Last Month!!! We Got Update Yesterday And Send Us Email Saying: *** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL *** The following is the latest information on your case status Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) Current Status: On October 23, 2006, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. Sincerely, The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) And Today | | | | | Inbox Sometimes in my dreams I read books, but the words don't make any sense. They read just like your post! :energetic: What Does Doesn't Make Sense For You Pigu??? You never know for sure with CSC, but it seems very likely that this is just a system error and not a new RFE. In the past couple of weeks, their notification systems have been very unreliable and so your paper documents are your only solid information. Our petition was approved the week before last and we still haven't been notified by email, the online status is not approved either, BUT we received the NOA2 letter and a letter from NVC saying that they received our petition. Many others also didn't get emails. In your case, there's a repeat of an earlier email and this has also happened. Those recent touches are a very good sign (they still SEEM to still mean something!) but you may need to wait a week and see if a NOA2 appears in the mail. As always, be patient and don't expect the USCIS to be able to help you when errors like this occur. Paper is everything so be happy that your RFE letter has FOR SURE been received and so your NOA2 will be coming. With some luck, coming soon!! Good luck!!!!! Thanks.. Erichu!!! HI All, We Got 1st RFE Email from USCIS Last Sept. 30 requesting For More Evidence or Info On Our Case And we Got The RFE On Snail mail Last Oct. 13 and Send back the requested Evidence To CSC Oct 16. And On the 17 oct We Got Update On USPS tracking # That Someone From CSC Already Pick Up The Document for requested Documents We Sent To CSC!!! Yesterday And Today We get Touched And Now When I check My profolio I Got Same Email Saying On Sept 30 They Send A request For More evidence On Our Case!!! Its ODD Because The Date For request Evidence Is Sept Instead of Oct!!! Its Same Date They Request On More Evidence On our 1st RFE!!! Tha LAst RFE was Asking About The Evidence On Our last meeting And My Fiancee Already Send it To them.....CAn Anybody explain This To Us or Anybody Got Same Case As Ours??? Im thinking to myself why? they cant decide if im approve or denied?? ok now im worried i might be denied??? i hope NOT!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Medical Before NOA2 Get Approved!!!	Two things: As they say medical results are good for 1 year. 1) If for some reason visa interview is delayed for a long time due to tie up at USCIS, NVC, or Consulate by a name check, the medical may expire. 2) When it comes time to do AOS you may have to do another medical due to the one from Korea being expired. It is best to do the medical closer to the interview than too early. Exactly... what's your rush.. do the medical when you're required to do so... I Was just Asking For Any Opinion Zaggy,Cuz I didnt Know That Medical Can Be Done Without PAcket 3 From The Embassy yet!!! That's All..NO Big Deal!!! My Point is To Know Wether It Is Legal or Illegal To Do Medical Without NOA2 Being Approved yet!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	late fiance visa approval	Best thing to do before filing I129-f is try to read some helpful tips on what to do this petition and what are things to do and prepare, to avoid hassle and RFE...that is what we did to my fiance before we filed. Speaking of photo evidences it is advisable to put some captions or notes on the them even if it is penmanship written, then u must put some date on the photos if u remember? that is what my fiance did...then we included some our letters, itineraries of his visit, some hotel or vehicle receipts. Other include telephone bills, engagement ring receipts, but we didnt include those things, heh, thanks God we had get aprroved! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	late fiance visa approval	hmmm, I was wondering why it took so long for u to get an approval? In our case, my guy filed in the middle of d month of May 2008 at California service then got approved on Sept 29,2008...now i am here with him in Washington state. He visited me 3 times, and we started our relationship online on the late February 2004. We didn't even use attorney, we just did it ourselves by reading in this site. And we made it complete details and didn't get RFE. Thanks God and for this site anyway! Maybe there is still other documents needed with ur papers, and maybe they still review more of ur papers, hmmm hope the attorney will find a way for ur papers till u get approval. California service is a nice service for me because it just not took so one year till we got approved! I pray that u that this year u have notice approval! Don't lose hope there and I believe u will have it this year and be patient! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	so stressing... waiting for NOA2	hi there, all I can say BE PAtieNt no matter how long it takes. In my case, it took five months till I got my NOA2 last year, we don't call the USCIS, we just wait the result, in my own opinion, the more u call them the more ur papers stuck there. And besides you are not the only one applicants, many are there waiting for almost a year till they got approval. They will need to check the background of your fiance or husband to be and their status here in AMerica. I am just glad that my husband is single and no kids that is why we don't have much hassles in our paperworks and has job with no criminal records. That would be a help! If you have divorcee man, it takes time because they need to find out how many times ur man married and how kids they are supporting or whatever. Don't go break up to ur fiance, that is bad. You don't know how hard they work here in AMerica just to find money for the processing and support you and pay for the vacation just to see you. Some filipina thinks that kano is rich? Huh...if you just knew how they work hard here just to support their love ones in PI...sometimes they don't have time for theirselves. You will realize that someday when u get here in States. So, be thankful anyway, no matter what. ANd be happy if you hear ur friend having NOA2 ...i meant be happy for what they got. Remember, you will be the next who will get the approval. Okay ba? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Cenomar	hmmm better be prepare to have one, in the preliminary interview some interviewer there at USManila Embassy will ask u CENOMAR(single) or MARRIAGE INDEX ( married), in my case as K1 applicant, the guy who interviewed in the preliminary took my CENOMAR or he asked it...well, it is just depend on the interviewer, but during Consul interview, there is nothing to be panic, the questions are just about ur relationship and so and so forth... note: in preliminary interview ( they are all filipino interviewer), they will collect or ask some documents from the applicants, they will also ask u some questions too, and in final interview (Consul, kano or kana) they will just ask u about u and ur fiance or hubby, same questions in preliminary...u should match ur answer or be honest in everything....Good luck uuu QUOTE (Bill_dianne @ Jan 26 2009, 03:45 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do cr1 applicants like myself need to bring cenomar or the interview? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	cfo/passport ?	hi steve, www.cfo.gov She needs to attend CFO seminar and dont worry it won't take so long. you better let her go to Manila and attend the class, since she will have an interview at Manila Embassy for visa. Did she get passport already? CFO cerificate is one of the requirements in applying passport especially to those who apply K1 or whatever visa is it... that was I did before. I took a seminar class then after I got my CFO cert, I applied my passport, then when I got my visa I went to CFO office and they put sticker on my passport. You don't need to pay the CFO sticker, they will just ask ur wife's CFO cert and then they will put sticker on it. Hope this gives u a little help... Goodluck to both of u. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	USCIS to NVC paper trail	If anyone is freaking out because it has been way too long in between the time you receive your NOA2 and getting notification from NVC, and you have sent inquiries to NVC and still no record of it, call USCIS and be sure to ask the representatives to speak to an OFFICER. Reps will tell you anything, but the officers know exactly what is going on. It took me 10 times calling USCIS to finally get in touch with an officer and this was her advise. I was approved on Dec. 22nd and still nothing from NVC. They are saying 30 to 45 working days sometimes, before NVC gets the paperwork....why the hell so long I would really like to know, but......half of the Reps told me that K-1 visas do not go to the NVC, but straight to the Embassies and that is a bunch of malarky. I just talked to someone at USCIS and they told me all K-1 visas go directly to the embassies assigned....has anyone else got this story yet? He assured me that the K-1's do not go to NVC......hmmmmm. He claimed to have worked there for the last several years and that is how K-1's are done. They only had our file one day and sent it on to the US embassy in Bangkok today, 3/11/09! Wondering if they are trying to make up for USCIS sitting on it for 78 days before they sent it to NVC? Have a good day; Sawadee Krup!” (goodbye in Thai) Nathaya replies with “Sawadee Ka!”, picks up her packet of evidence and paper work and proceeds out the embassy doors. It was that easy. Just as easy (if not easier) then getting her US Tourist Visa. I hope everyone has the same luck and patience we’ve have. Three pieces of advice I can give to this entire process is: 1. Make sure you dot all the “I’s” and cross all the “T’s”. 2. Collect your evidence of relationship wisely. And 3. use this website and forum as a resource and tool to help you through the process. It will lower your stress levels and prepare you for your next milestone. Good luck everyone. We now need to get started on our AOS (I-485) packet. Congratualtions...I am bitting my nails as we speak. Our case was sent to BKK embassy on the 11th of this month. I have not been able to verify it, but we at least got a case # from NVC and they said they sent it. After 78 days of USCIS sitting on our approved petition before sending it on NVC, I take what ever I am told with a grain of salt. I plan on going over and attending the interview if that is allowed. In the states this is common knowledge. Next, on a more personal note, I have also had 2 divorces from American wives. I am not saying that it was their fault but it was a difference between western and filipina value systems. Most western women that i have experienced have a value system based on being "spoiled" growing up, not to say that they are spoiled but the life they experienced is far different than the average filipina. This makes a filipina much more grateful for the hard work and things here Bana can provide as well as having a strong devotion to family and her husband. Most American men find these to be the most important qualities in a wife. Filipina are most times loyal to their husbands with little desire to have other "men experiences" clouding their minds, thinking about what else might be out there or what they might be missing. The thing I personally looked for in my wife was a good heart, strong compassion for others, and a solid belief in the marriage vows we took. I have learned that these are values most Filipina have in common with each other and I believe this makes them very desirable for a spouse. I hope this answers your question. I am still wondering though, why filipinas? I am from Phil's neighbour country and I would say that some Southeast Asian countries' ladies are not that much different with Filipina's in terms of holding family orientation value. Let's say..
