Perhaps because you didn't go through someone like, say, the Associated Press, it didn't get noticed by a lot of people? I don't know, really. Maybe the only thing that would get noticed is a full-scale protest in front of DHS. Pat was really stressed out last week about the RFE, car, work, etc.....we argued a lot the first two days and on wednesday I sent him balloons!!! Hahaha! Two of them sayin, I love you, two smiley faces and one that said thank you.....The thing is that the delivery guy didn't check if the front door was unlock (and like I told them, it was) so he took it back to the store and delivered it on thursday and he found the balloons in the afternoon when he got home from work! for his birthday in July I had our friends in Lima send him some flowers and chocolate and Pisco and a cigar with a video of me singing his favorite song....Killing me Softly....by the fugees......I use to sing in a band.....but after 2 years of trying to be creative and the frustration of VSC the well is dry....I hate to say it but Te Amo Mucho Mas.....or Tamm...or ILYVM...LYSM.....can only go so far and then I just ache my heart...my head......WHY IS THIS O.K.............My Senator married a woman for southeast asia and she came here on a K1 but I bet it never took her this long....and he did not even respond to my email for assistance........augh.......Lora	OsLoraTamm	Female	Peru	2007-11-15 17:39:00

For REAL...that just sounds like some really evil 'f-with her head' ish they are making up as they go along!! I read your post twice and I STILL don't know what the he11 they are talking about...I'm so sorry you have to go through this Lora...this whole crazy process is just JACKED-UP!!! There are a few things I'd like to share - -My lawyer's paralegal finally broke down after much prodding early this week and called the VSC (oh yes, "Service" is our middle name!!!!). She was told that they were currently processing applications dated May 19th and that they are averaging one day's filings per day. My response to the paralegal was that the VsC person was being "less than genuine" with her due to the fact that petitions are being handled totally out of order. Her response: -My congresswoman sent in a letter on my behalf early in November (3 weeks after her staffer promised me that she would). Yesterday, I asked her staffer to inquire again as nothing at all had happened. She said that they now must wait until the end of December to call due to "Congressional protocals". That sounds bogus to me. -On Wednesday, I wrote both Senators and I have not yet heard anything from them. They will certainly be getting calls on Monday a.m. As my peition is rapidly approaching the 180 day mark, I am wondering what effect if any will my calling the VsC on the 180th day? Do any of you have experience with this? If so, will it do me any good or will I just get told to call back in 30 days? Last, I just want to say that I am very impressed with the great support that all of you have provided to eachother. Just reading posts the last few days has been inspiring. Hi I am Lora......Oscar and I filed June 5 and have heard nothing also.....I have done everything you have and have gotten the same lying response.......Today is my 180th day.....I am calling them on Monday......of course the customer service people get to be with there loved ones on the weekends unlike all of us.......This has been very stressful on Oscar and I also but I have to believe that through all of this we will be stronger as a couple because our love has been tested like this.......you can see also in this thread that we have sent chocolate and press releases and questions to TV stations....I even am waiting for a Congressional liason to get back with me about hearings....I have contacted Senators and Congressman.......an I do not take bullcrap from them.....I vote and I remind them of that fact when I speak to them...they work for me....they are not doing me a favor here........It is there job to work for us.....I am really thinking about going to Washington tomorrow....I live very close and walk into the Department of Homeland Security and talk to anyone who will listen to me....even the guard.....with information from this website.......they are inept, uncaring and it is unreal that this has been allowed to go on like this.....that federal agency is this customer unfriendly......so Yes my friend I feel your pain....I feel your frustration.......and my suggestion is to become a pain in there butt......You are there customer......How much worse can it get????......I wish I had waited and filed in July....Lora Hey, Just my advice from my perspective but I was only kidding a little about the taser thing on the June waiters thread. I think it's a bad idea to go there and when they start patronizing you it could get ugly because you're fed up already. The 'authorities' don't have restraint or couth these days. Try to make an appointment with someone. At least don't go alone. They found your file and said the supervisor will work it right? What are the odds they are dumb enough to lose it again? I will try to do that.. He said he's expecting NOA2 and worrying about not getting it yet.. He sent I-129F and got NOA1 on June21 and on June 26 they touched his case.. He says he saw lot of July filers already got their NOA2's and he concerns about his.. And he's asking for help.. Hi Guys......I am laying in bed in the cardiac ward in the hospital......I am all implanted with the pacer and the cardioverter.....I talked with Oscar while I was in the recovery room.....I really love him.....He was crying on the phone...anyway I went to the stress lab and they wanted me to make my heart rate go up so they were goin to give me a med I said no I know how.....VSC....NO ...NOA2......it worked and so did the pacer....hahaha...a little humour in my pain.......thanks for all of your best wishes......I get to go home around 5 pm.....Now I am ready for my approval....PLEASE.....Love you guys Lora	OsLoraTamm	Female	Peru	2007-11-30 10:45:00

Hi guys....Sorry for my temperary meltdown but I have a heart problem and I was letting myself get too worked up. I was in the hospital for 2 days a couple of weeks ago and I am going in tomorrow to have a cardiovertor implanted because all of the meicine is not working on my irregular heartbeats.....I have been putting it off for months because oscar wants to be here but I have waited long enough and it is now necessary that it is done now.......I will be asleep for about an hour tomorrow but I am sure all will be o.k......Now I am letting you guys know that the Congressional Liason has contacted me about the whole processing problem at VSC but they are not sure they can get it on the hearing list...they make a list and then have to organize everything so most of the hearings for this session are set but they were asking about the spring.....at this point I am going to push for some kind of accountability here on USCIS and Mr Gonzales' part so even after Oscar is here and all is good with us I think I will push this with letters and phone calls....I also told them I would be willing to testify but I doubt that woul happen so even though nothing may come of this I feel better know that at least someone is at least talking to me.......Congrats on all the approvals....Lora	OsLoraTamm	Female	Peru	2007-11-29 16:40:00
