I call several times a day and have had email traffic back and forth with NVC. I did talk to a very helpful USCIS officer. He said this is not uncommon and there is no problem.... This is sometime done to slow down the numbers of interviews at consulates (unofficial response of course ) The officer said just to keep calling it will happen. NOA1 Nov 3rd, Hard copy I think I got on the 6th. Hope everyone is hanging in there. I had a moment myself tonight but I am better now. Fiance is coming to see me over christmas and new years so definatly something to look forward to, kinda hope something will drop through the door about then .... that would make the best christmas present we both ever got!! Because I don't have a lot in savings, but I suppose I could include bank statements showing how much was deposited last year and all that jazz. Ideas? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 08 K1 Filers	I would imagine that she probably forgot something in their original application...the same happened with me, but I'm thinking there is a possibility they may not send an RFE. I forgot to put a separate letter from my fiance with the intent to marry, but it is now on its way via snail mail in case we need it we can send it right away. Depending on who the adjucator is I guess we may not get an RFE and they may use mine to suffice. There was another girl on here who was expecting an RFE for something, had it all ready, and did indeed get an RFE but for something else. You never can exactly tell! The upcoming 10 days is going to be the shortest trip so far, so we'll see how that goes! I realize that I'm waiting for the NOA2, just waiting for that approval...and I get excited knowing it's close! Then I get down realizing it's just the next step and there's a couple months after that too And reading some posts about people getting stuck in AP for months Terrifying! And I can't even tell my fiance because he gets down worse than I do. When I first told him about the November filer getting approved last month he got really upset wondering why other people get approved before us who filed after us, etc. Either way guys we've got to keep each other cheered up - post touches, anything!
