Have you check at USCIS page your case status? If Last Updated 1/14/2009 then I am pretty sure you will be getting your NOA2 really soon!
What I dont get is that they are moving your case to CSC blink.gif .... are you sure about that? I didnt thought it was possible!

Work Flow...dont know, .. well you know Vermont have been a little slow in their approvals, when I call USCIS they say VSC is working on March 2008 cases! and as you can see on IGOR list here at VJ there are much more approvals per week at CSC...

The good thin is that your last update is from last week! so be positive! It might be your approval wink.gif

Good news is the processing time has been shifted, bad news is that it's only one month from the last update of March 2008. Currently (as of Nov. 30 2008), April 2008 are still within timeframe.

Anecdotal accounts from VJer's suggests that VCS is currently processing a large portion of August filers and many were aware of the significant gridlock that occured throughout the month of December. With hope, we'll be processing at steadily increasing rate over the next few weeks.

I am beeing positive with VSC, they have been approving many August and September filers this last week, I think things have been slow because of the holidays, but there are no more holidays on this month ... so they will be working in our cases for sure!

Well very slowly according to the stats on Igor's list, going back to the beginning of January.

CSC vs VSC, week beginning

The only positive thing to come out of week beginning 12th Jan for VSC filers was this is the first time since March 2008 that VSC has approved 30 or more K1 petitions in a week here on visajourney. I have been wondering what did happend to VSC the last months, and is hard, maybe they got out of personnel, I dont know... when I filed everyone was telling me that ths was the quieckest center ... but now i dont know what to say hehe

Is the USCIS being timely in requesting that information?

Many other countries handle this so much better and are far more efficient in this regard. I say the Us Government has some explaining to do and I think the senators from me state, Vermont and the heads of the State Department should get letters expressing our deep dissatisfaction in one of this country's proud traditions, accepting immigrants!

Complaining about US goverment you arent winning anything, you should keep your mind positive, and your apporval will come. Positive thoughts and good feelings, always bring good things to your life!

Why should we have to wait 6 months???!!?? CSC currently show it can be done quicker...and that's the point people are trying to make. You also have to bear in mind that VSC and CSC are only one part of the process....add another 3 months to that and it's nine months to be with your loved one......positive? patient? no thanks.....i just want the opportunity to be treated like the human being that I am, and be with my Fiancee. 9 months (and some people, some very patient and misfortunate people have been waiting over a year for a NOA 2) is NOT acceptable.

Ellie, I know it is hard, all this process and all the time we need to wait apart, but it is the way it is, and all the couples have chosen this way to do it, in how many time are we gatting approved? we dont know that. the only thing i can tell you, is that you should calm down a bit, you have only filed on November, and maybe you will be getting your NOA2 before me!!! I have seen so many approvals form UK that dont took the 6 months...
I am just telling you that 6 monst is the processing time at uscis, I am at VSC, and I have been waiting more that 5 months, so I know how hard it is to be waiting.
I am a positive person and I am just not letting USCIS or VSC drive me crazy, thats why I always tell everybody here in the witing room to stay postive and it will come.

I don't quite understand what exactly happened (denial or not denial, but just a request for more documents to be brought at a later date), but I hope it all works out for you.



if we cant get another sponser it doesnt matter how they word it right.. cause without somone else theres no way to get more papers he doesnt have family here and i dont have anyone so its basically over... well i dont know how people do it really im soooo upset and i cant even think of anyway to fix it. and then he went home to lay down and take a nap to think it over and im stuck here at my keppboard crying and driving myself more insane but im trying not to just lose it at this point

I feel so sad to read this .... Candy I hope everything works right for you, and a miracle happens and you both find the way to be together.
Remember that there is always a way out.

Cry and scream all you need and let flow your unger and frustration, then when you are ready, start thinking and searching for options ... I really hope, with all my heart, you both find a way to solve this situation .
