IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Do I qualify for expedite under financial loss?	I think not.  Lots of people go thru the same thing.  What I think you need is a nanny. I tried just don't seem to find a reliable one plus my son goes to daycare 5 days a week while I work. I'm not sure what USCIS means by financial loss but here is my situation: I'm taking graduate classes at a University and have two more classes left including my thesis. I got divorced last year and kept our two years old son with me and since then I don't have time to do my school work because I also work full time. As a result, if I don't finish my program in the next 12 months I will be kicked out of school after spending nearly $40,000 on tutions and fees. I really need my wife here to help with chords, my son, and free some of my time to be able to finish my thesis. Not to mention, I also have migraine headaches and when I get them I can't rest because I don't have anyone to watch my son. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Timeline Question (TSC)?	According to my timeline my I130 may be adjudicated between April 23, 2014 and June 7, 2014. Is this accurate? I know we have lots of variable but when you guys got approved, were you close to VJ timeline estimate?   If that's correct I will be one happy guy     My PD is 02/04/2014. I wrote President Obama not for me but when I filed back in 2012 their were some cases that I felt needed attention,. I was just at 3 months waiting. Well low and behold I was approved 12 days latter. Coincidence I have no idea but it was cool. I thought a good touching informative letter. Only way things get changed is people got to raise the bar.   Of I was filing now no way I would sit back hearing 8 to 12 months to get through USCS hell naw. Not trying to be unnecessarily mean or anything, but I wonder what kind of American you'll make if you can seriously ask a question like that.     Nothing wrong with asking questions. We all make decisions and the decision is yours whether to just wait months for approval or be proactive and try to get thins moving and that's what the OP doing and that's what we ALL need to do. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Problem with "Establishing Financial Support"	In reality if you made no income or below the minimum you don't need to file taxes but with immigration it seems easier and more straight forward to just file taxes for the past three years instead of trying to explain things to USCIS and respond to their RFE (most likely you will get one if you don't file taxes). IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Should I withdraw my K3 petition?	I filed I130 for CR1 Feb 4th 2014 and on March 27th I filed K3 petition. Shortly after I filed K3 I got an email that RFE issued for my I130 petition. Now that I know my I130 is being worked on I careless about K3 visa. But you have to continue to hope and trust in God Almighty and real soon the whole visa journey will come to an end.... We are also waiting to receive RFE from TSC it was mailed on March 24th and till today we ve not received their letter to know what RFE was all about. My wife called 2 days ago and she was ask to wait for 15 days and if after 15 days she did not receive the mail that she should call them back....... Is unbelievable. I just wanna share our own experience on here. Hope the letter will come next week by his grace.... Fingers across...  I hope you get yours soon!   They will tell you that you HAVE an RFE, not what the RFE is for.  I've YET to see that on this website since I've been here.  If anything every single time there's an "OMG I HAVE AN RFE!!!" thread, someone claims to have called and been told to wait for the letter.    Maybe you're special.  Thanks NLR for the info. The only difference is that everything you send is scanned and attached to email, it still has to be reviewed just like anyone else's case. In fact when our case was at NVC it took longer than those who sent the physical documentation to them. Don;t ask me why  :/   Thanks for the info. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Approved for I-130 & approved k3. Why are the proceeding with K3?	Not sure what's wrong with sending the approved I130 to the local office. Prior 2006 this is how USCIS used to handle the situation when both I130 and I129F are approved. They simply used to send the approved I130 to local office and let the I129F proceed to the embassy for immigrant visa. Once the beneficiary in the US and ready to adjust status, USCIS will retrieve the approved I130 to start adjustment of status.    Are they starting to do this again? Maybe they are. My NOA arrived yesterday and was addressed to me in my married name so hopefully they will give me my new GreenCard to me in my married name as well.
