Dawg, your poor birth certificate! I sent my hubby's original LF and he was so upset to lose it. He was all, "what if I need it?!" Then I laughed at him. He has a passport, the goof.

I kinda bit myself in the #######, though. I sent my case for further review. I'm wondering if I should have just sent the damned information or not.

I did send the 2008 return, which was joint, but I made a giant paragraph on my cover letter stating that her spouse had died in February. She had also written on the I864 that her spouse had died. It was in two different places, clear as day. So either the CO didn't read the cover letter, or just didn't care.

The domicile thing drives me nuts. What I'm wondering is in the Place of Residence (#13), I put "n/a" because it isn't different from my mailing address. I'm guessing the person didn't see the "n/a". Who knows.

My RFE is in for further review because the CO is blind.

They're requesting two things:

1) According to the CO, my country of domicile wasn't listed. Being a VJ member, I made two copies of my package on the day I sent it to NVC. My country of domicile is indeed listed.

2) On my co-sponsor's I864, they're claiming that the household should be 3, that my co-sponsor is married. Well, no, she was widowed in February.
