I just called CSC to find out if my paperwork has been sent to NVC yet (I called NVC earlier today and it had not been rec'd). I told her that although I'd received my NOA2 on 10/22..dated 10/18, the website had not been updated. She looked up my case number and said that I had in fact been approved, but my paperwork can remain in the mail staging area for up to 60 days and that NVC knows they're behind and will extend the dates if necessary. She said they wait and send out large crates at a time and that when the next crate was full, it'd probably be sent out. She was very pleasant, but said that she has no other information that she could give me, but I could call to check on it any time. I don't know if that's what is actually causing yours to move slower or not, but I was told that the I-134 is sent to your finace(e) along with a copy of the NOA2 to take to the interview. USCIS usually doesn't receive those, but you think they'd just disregard it and move forward...ahhh...but look what orginization we're talking about here. I would suggest that you prepare your I-134 with supporting documents to send to your fiancee when you receive your NOA2 with it being notarized close to the date of the NOA2 as they need it for the interview, not at USCIS. I am just really excited Congratulations!! Happy dance time!! Yes, you need a police report and as far as scheduling the medical, check the tab above on Embassy Info and see what it says for Germany. For us in Japan, you can't order a police cert until you get pkt 3 and show it to the police agency and then schedule a medical exam from a doctor on their list, not your own doc. Once we receive everything, we can schedule an appointment with our embassy. Every country is different as some can get a police cert as soon as they file the I-129f. Good luck and congrats again!! NVC received it last Friday and it's leaving NVC for Tokyo today and I got my new case number. I'm so excited!! What a rollercoaster of emotions over the last few weeks, I'm so glad this part is over! Thanks so much to all of my friends here at VJ for your support! It's hard enough being told 3 times by CSC that it was sent out and seeing everyone else get news that theirs was already received and that some are now leaving NVC. I expected 2 or 3 weeks with the way CSC has been doing business lately, but when people who are approved 3 weeks after you already have cases leaving NVC, it's a bit depressing. Hopefully you and everyone else approved recently won't have this same torment and they get their act together. It's bad enough when it happens waiting for your NOA2, because each officer finishes things at a different speed, but just to send it out...more than a bit frustrating.
