Strange..I lived in Japan for 15 years and was never homesick for the states, but I've been back here 4 1/2 years and I'm still immensely homesick for Japan. Germany...was there 5 years ago with my fiance visiting with friends and being tourists...had a great time! They even stated that they would be hiring and training more officers before the July price increase, but instead of things moving faster for all of us, it went off the deep end in the opposite direction. He can finally go to order his police certificate on Monday (in Japan you have to have paperwork from the embassy to order it) and will schedule his medical exam...I'm soo excited!! NVC received it last Friday and it's leaving NVC for Tokyo today and I got my new case number. I'm so excited!! What a rollercoaster of emotions over the last few weeks, I'm so glad this part is over! Thanks so much to all of my friends here at VJ for your support! Spoke to a very nice lady who took my name and telephone number and gave me her name as well, and said she'd email them to find out why mine was still sitting there and would try to call me back with any info. We'll see if I actually hear from her. Fingers, eyes and legs crossed again that it goes out soon! I know just how you feel Rodgiegirl, I haven't seen my fiance since last November..in a few weeks, it'll be a year and I too thought we'd be done with this whole process by now. I'm sure they have no idea how hard it is to be apart from their loved one. My friends in the military are the only ones I know (other than my friends on this site) who really understand how I feel. Keep your chin up! You, ramzis, mirla and byron and other May & before May filers should bet getting your NOA2's soon. I hope when I log on tomorrow that I hear some good news from all of you!
