I won't even tell you my sad story (we all do what we need to do), but I'm working 1 full-time job(40 hrs a week) and 2 part-time jobs (1 at 20 hrs a week and the other varies between 20-30 hrs a week). Thank goodness my boss at my full-time job lets me check on the USCIS and this website a hundred times a day while I'm at work...but still no touches..no sign of a NOA2 sad.gif Come on CSC!!

Well that sort or epitomizes the problem doesn't it? Some people are entering priority date, others receipt date and then there is a third group using notice date. VJ instructions state to use the notice date but a lot of members appear to be entering other dates because they feel for one reason or another that an alternate date would be more accurate. Projected adjudication dates are based on date sent but a lot (if not most) of the VJ reports and graphs refer to processing time from NOA1 date to NOA2 date. What a mess. wacko.gif

As I said earlier, I realize in the long run this is not very important but a little consistency would be helpful to us ####### detail oriented people. helpsmilie.gif



Well, then I guess the consistency you're hoping for needs to start with USCIS. What do you suggest people who never recieve a NOA1 use as a date? That was the question posed to the forum back in May and June when those of us who never got one in the first place, actually started getting replacement notices. There is no received date listed...only a priority date. When I called to ask about the NOA1 after finally receiving my hard copy in the mail, I was told they would use the priority date not the notice date since the notice date was the date they printed a replacement NOA1. I agree it's a mess and in the long run this is not very important, but there seems to be little anyone can do when there's no consistency from USCIS as to even sending out notices to all of us.

Let's just pray that they keep cranking out the NOA2's at CSC and start again at VSC...all of us are playing this waiting game and many who filed before me..Mirla & Byron just to name a couple..all want the process to keep moving at something higher than a snail's pace smile.gif

Well, my 129f was sent in May 31st, and, like so many others, I never received a NOA1 until much later (although some never receive one at all). I don't have a Received Date on the NOA1, but I do have a Priority Date and according to what I was told on another thread back at the beginning of my journey, I should use the Priority Date. as the Notice Date is just the date they print the to show what date the notice was printed and sent...which is true in my case and many others. I think that's the reason why VJ uses the sent date as many people either never receive a NOA1 or they get replacement NOA1's with a notice date much further out than what they're actually being processed at.

Hey tongue.gif I didn´t know bszoom was working on another update and I was sort of working on my personal one since I don´t appear in his one tongue.gif I just did it from April to end of June since I thought applications from March and earlier should already be approved. Kinda surprised me that Chasnik is still waiting...that´s crazy so long. I thought the old ones were just inactive here on VJ. So when USCIS says time for approvals is 6 months it doesn´t have to be like that? So I just added the earlier ones as a number after I was finished. I post it here just in case someone wants to peek. Maybe there are other people who aren´t in bszoom´s list..

It's hard to tell, some touches are generated by calls and others are never touched regardless of the number of times they call. Our timelines are almost the same, we sent in our pkts the same day. Did they tell you that you needed to send documents? My husband had to submit a couple of forms online to the Tokyo embassy and then brought the rest with him (I-134 and supporting docs as well as I-129f originals and copies of exactly what was sent to USCIS.) The originals for your I-129f packet you should take with you in case they want to verify them, but I would only send what they ask you to send and take everything else with you. Each embassy/consulate is a bit different, but you should never send originals unless they specifically ask for them. Good luck with your interview!

Arigato gozaimasu! It's not really fast when you consider we've been together 12 years! Since his insurance won't cover him when he leaves Japan to move here, and mine won't cover him until we get married, it works best all way round. We wanted the 8th or 22nd (I have a thing about 2's and 8's smile.gif )but it won't work considering he can't be here by the 8th, so that one's out and the 22nd seemed to be bad timing for everyone else involved, so we settled for the 18th. His interview was yesterday (the 28th there)...after about a 3 min interview, she wished us a happy life together and told him good luck! So if anyone heard shouting coming from Vancouver, WA yesterday afternoon...it was me!!!! I'm so happy I can hardly stand it!
