K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-129F June Filers	I just called CSC to find out if my paperwork has been sent to NVC yet (I called NVC earlier today and it had not been rec'd). I told her that although I'd received my NOA2 on 10/22..dated 10/18, the website had not been updated. She looked up my case number and said that I had in fact been approved, but my paperwork can remain in the mail staging area for up to 60 days and that NVC knows they're behind and will extend the dates if necessary. She said they wait and send out large crates at a time and that when the next crate was full, it'd probably be sent out. She was very pleasant, but said that she has no other information that she could give me, but I could call to check on it any time. The website still says pending, but it's really here...Oh I hope all other May filers are in the mail too...damn..I can't type..I keep having to correct this!! I'm soo excited!! I spoke with a really nice man and told him that I was concerned about my petition because I had not heard anything since I called to have a new NOA1 sent out due to not receiving the first one. I was hoping he could tell me whether or not my petition had gotten lost in the shuffle with them being so overwelmed recently. He put me on hold for a couple of minutes then came back and said "don't worry ma'am, your case was assigned to an officer yesterday on the 16th and although it doesn't show that a decision has been made yet, you should be hearing something soon." I thanked him for his kindness and told him that he just made my day and that I hope he has a great day. He told me to have a nice day as well and I said thanks to him, I would be! YEA!!! At least a feel a little more relieved...we should be hearing something soon!! I so appreciate everyone here..it's nice to be able to share this long long journey with others that know how I feel. It's nice to have a forum like this to see how others are doing. Does anyone know what to do if you never receive the NOA1? They cashed the check over a month ago, but that's it. Is there something else I can be doing until it arrives (if it ever does)? you can get the receipt number off the cancelled check from your bank (use this in the uscis website to check status). The hardcopy isnt all that important. NOA1 just means they opened your file. My check didnt even get cashed for a whole month! You want the NOA2 now I did get the receipt number off the back of the check last month, but nothing has happened since they cashed the check. (I look online nearly everyday.) I filed the 129f last year in May and the AOS this past March and we just got his GC a couple of weeks ago! Takes them forever to do anything, but worse than waiting, I think, is watching people who file a month or two after you, getting approved several months before you. And they have staff that spend their whole day responding to requests like these. You're almost at the 5 month mark, that's when USCIS says how long you should wait before contacting them regarding your case. thank you, i think it will help us a lot. Actually we're planning to do call a senator for a help. and you're right i read about that we have to wait for our 5th month before we call USCIS again. but hopefully they will give us a feedback.
