I still have not received an E-mail. It ONLY took 152 days to approval from filing on May 31 at TSC!! wacko.gif The estimated time on my timeline was November 9. When I applied, it estimated approval in August (which was reasonable at that point), then moved to mid-September, and then when it hit October, I decided to quit checking until we got approved. It was just too depressing. I'm glad I did! I had the blessing of having my fiance on the phone when I read this message, and it was so special for the both of us.

I will be continuing to pray for all of you who are still waiting for your approvals, and remember that God has all things planned, and although it is very trying, we must keep our faith in Him.

Good afternoon my fellow May filers...geez..I expected to get online here and see lots of approvals from over the weekend..what's up CSC & NVC..my friends need their approvals!!!

I also checked the USCIS website on my case and it still says "pending" As long as I have my NOA2, it's fine, but kinda wierd they still haven't updated it. Hey afterforever, did they update yours?

ramzis, mirla, byron, rodgiegirl (and all other May filers of course) I'm thinking about you and ready to do the happy dance with you as soon as we hear your good news!

I called last week and they said my case was assigned on the 16th. I got the hard copy in the mail today, but still no email or update change on the website. so, yes..check your mail box and best of luck to you smile.gif

I got touched yesterday and this morning but I am thinking it is from the telephone call I made yesterday. U2rsobad and Ramzis you also called yesterday. I am hoping for an approval but I know that when I called several weeks ago I got a touch the day of the call and the next morning also.

I really really think we are going to get approved soon but I still think the touches are from the calls. Who knows maybe I am wrong. I do not want to crush your excitment or be a wet blanket but just trying to put things into perspective. It seems Bob N Dora are getting touches but did not call USCIS so I think their approval is coming soon.

Don't worry, you're not being a wet blanket and I'm also tring to keep things in perspective, but when I called early on in this process about not receiving my NOA1, I never got a touch. The only touch was for when they mailed the NOA1 the second time. So, even though I'm pretty sure yesterday's was from the call, I'm really hoping today's has a little more meaning. Either way, I'm so glad that it's at least being looked at. Let's hope that you, ramzis and I are approved today as well as all the other May filers that are "patiently" waiting smile.gif

How do yall get to speak with an actual person when you call the USCIS? RFE trick? Because I am thinking I am going to call next week. If it was the RFE trick what is the number pressing pattern again? I was checking but this thread is LONG. Hahaha! Also when you actually get to a person what do you say or make up about an RFE?


Read what I posted above. I didn't say anything about an RFE although that's the line I called on, just that I was concerned. I dialed customer service number: 1-800-375-5283 Prompts 1-2-2-4(RFE prompt)-2-1-enter Rec't # 1(to verify)

Okay..my lunch break is over so I'm here to report my findings...

I spoke with a really nice man and told him that I was concerned about my petition because I had not heard anything since I called to have a new NOA1 sent out due to not receiving the first one. I was hoping he could tell me whether or not my petition had gotten lost in the shuffle with them being so overwelmed recently. He put me on hold for a couple of minutes then came back and said "don't worry ma'am, your case was assigned to an officer yesterday on the 16th and although it doesn't show that a decision has been made yet, you should be hearing something soon." I thanked him for his kindness and told him that he just made my day and that I hope he has a great day. He told me to have a nice day as well and I said thanks to him, I would be!

At least a feel a little more relieved...we should be hearing something soon!! I so appreciate everyone here..it's nice to be able to share this long long journey with others that know how I feel. good.gif
